Smashed them burgers!

Let me tell you... this place rocked! So freakin delicious, great service, and happy customers! We dug right in so no photos of the food, but the photos on Yelp already represent the foods yumminess

Everything was good and good portion. Wings were fire & the burger was even better. Didn't make it to the photo lol

Cool spot near the jobsite. Highly recommend it! Usual Friday spot for the field crews. Had all the sandwiches and they don't disappoint. Be sure to order cheese fries as an upgrade. Hope y'all enjoy!

Phenomenal. My wife was craving a burger and we had recently tried their new concept Sideshow Express which we loved so we decided to give the OG location a try. We each got their signature burger, garlic fries and split a salad. Everything was delicious. The burger was perfectly seasoned, juicy and fresh with plenty of veggies. The garlic fries were crisp and flavorful and the salad was large with chick peas and plenty of veggies. They have patio seating only which is no problem as there are plenty of heat lamps, a roof and two TVs for watching games. The service was prompt and nice. Can't wait to come back.

No frills burger stop where the milkshakes are my favorite. Full of flavor and made with real ice cream. They also have delicious burgers well-packed with toppings. I had the single patty Good Burger, which is quite filling, but for those a little hungrier, they should absolutely try the Sideshow. Their fries are right in between crispy and soft, but note that their garlic fries come with a lot of fresh raw garlic on top. They have a lovely outdoor dining area with plenty of heaters and roof cover. Plenty of picnic tables to sit on and fast delivery times. Staff are friendly and patient as we stared up at the menu.

Sideshow Burger, garlic fries, and Dozen Lemon Pepper Wings

I will never stop raving about this spot! It's the perfect place for a classic burger and fries, or wings with insane flavor. I had the best lemon pepper wings I've ever had here. The homemade ranch was the cherry on top. You have to try the LEMON PEPPER WINGS!! The burger also shmackin' with a great house sauce and two flavorful patties with all the goods. We enjoyed a few ciders as well on their sun-lit patio and it was a great vibe.

Saw this on my Reels for a while and decided to give it a try. Service was amazing. Menu is clear and to the point with many different options. It's all outdoors with just the right amount of seating. There's covered seating as well as uncovered! We had the Good Burger with fries and the buffalo wings with cheese fries. The strawberry milkshake was thick and creamy. I love also that they have Pepsi and Starry!!!!

The last time I came here I got my order to go and when I ate the food I felt that I didn't get the true essence of the meal since it was eaten an hour later. This time I ordered to eat at the spot. The food was delicious, perfectly cooked and the fries were hot and crispy. I walked right up to the counter and was immediately helped and my food was ready within minutes. I will definitely return soon to try something different.

Food was SUPERB We dined in and even received a free refill Everything we had was amazing The hyphy chicken was spicy (made my nose sweat in a good way) The good burger is a single patty but extremely filling. We came on a Sunday ordered quickly , open seating and street parking made my plan to return even simpler. This is a sweet addition to Oakland (really almost Emeryville) TRY THEM! (I'm definitely coming back)

Casual burger spot paying homage to Bay culture. Love the vibe! Outdoor seating, partially covered, a couple TVs in case you want to catch a game. Counter service with friendly staff. I was impressed by the garlic parmesan wings, honestly, potentially the best garlic parm wings I have ever had. I would go back just for them. Unfortunately, the burger didn't compare. There wasn't anything particularly wrong with it, it was fresh, juicy, but it was pretty bland, even with the sauces they said it came with. I also got a banana chocolate milkshake which was delicious and perfect blend of chocolate and banana.

Nashville Honey Hot wings

Yoooooooooooooooooo!! This joint is on fire. Single patty Burger was think, juicy, perfect with grilled onions. Got some Nashville Honey hot wings, fries, and each was absolutely EXCELLENT!! It's what Oakland needs. My only wish... they need to open another in Uptown Oakland asap. Sideshow is a game changer.

Good Burger with garlic cheese fries

We were very surprised with the ratings compared to the food we had here. I had the classic chicken sandwich with fries. My partner had the good burger with the garlic cheese fries. The classic chicken sandwich had two patties and was freshly fried. But I can't say there was much flavor in the aioli or the chicken. And there was too much chicken in my opinion (two patties as opposed to one). My partner thought the same thing with his burger not having much flavor either. However, the garlic in his garlic cheese fries were overpowering and was very garlicky. I think the portions are generous, which might make a lot of people might like this place. But when it comes to the nuance of the flavors of the sauces, we've had better. We are not in a rush to come back here even though the staff is pretty nice. You order at the counter first and then someone calls out your name and order and brings it to you. There's plenty of street parking on the Main Street and in the neighborhood area nearby.

The Sandwich (5/5)

This could very well be a blue collar workers' institution. From the back, It looks like a dilapidated homeless shelter if you drive by it and just glance. But inside, it is a industrial sprawl with amazing food! The front looks like a painting supply shop so it is easy to miss or mistaken. First time here on a recommendation from a colleague. I can report that this is EASILY my new vote for Best Spicy Chicken Sandwich in Oakland leapfrogging ahead of Hot Boys by City Hall and Uptown's Hot Bird. I ordered via Grubhub. There is a pick up line and they called my name out before I figured out the system. Love the reliable no nonsense messing around service here. I now know where to go when I am starving. 5/5 without a doubt. PS-add garlic to your garlic fries: you will not regret it.

The burgers and fries were bland. It's overrated in my opinion. The place is nice though.

Still a good place to bring kids? There used to be games they could play on the patio. I haven't been in a few years.

I didn't see any games. But it's nice outdoor setting to have a casual meal with tables big enough for families

Are there restrooms?

Yes

Can anyone tell me if they serve shakes and malts?

They do and they are fantastic!

Do you take large orders of ~125 wings? I wanted to place one for this weekend, in advance, but couldn't find a way to contact you.

Are their burgers flame grilled?

Broiled, not boiled! Delicious!

Will you be showing the Super Bowl on Sunday?

Yes

What is the good burger sauce?

Its a house made thousand island. Ketchup, relish, mayo, spices and a touch of lemon juice.

Is it dog friendly?

Yes we are dog friendly! We have a large patio area for your friend.

This is an order before you sit down kinda place…read more I ordered the Xingones Nachos with ground beef and it was fresh and delicious. The chips were fried fresh, and the ground beef was quality. I was hesitant to order ground beef nachos but it was great tasting & well made. I got full but couldn't stop eating them. I ordered a drink and nachos. The drink came out promptly and was simple but well constructed. Service was good and with care. It's mostly high top seating with seating at the bar as well, & maybe 1-2 half circles with comfy pillows. Parking is tough, plan to either circle or park a few blocks away. And remember is this bip city so I recommend Ubering.

The vibe is great, and the food definitely delivers on flavor. We tried quite a bit--the first Friday taco, chicken sandwiches, Mexican hot dog, and asada tacos--and everything was honestly amazing. It was so good that we came back the next day before leaving town just to have it again. Service was about an 8/10. The only reason I didn't rate it higher was due to one moment that didn't sit right with me. I watched a waitress bring out fries to a guest, the guest started eating them, and then she came back to say it was a mistake and took them away after he was already halfway through. That just didn't feel very service-oriented. In a situation like that, it would have been better to acknowledge the mistake and let the guest keep the fries on the house. Taking back half-eaten food felt like poor judgment. That said, the overall experience was still very positive. Great atmosphere, great flavors, and definitely a spot I'd recommend checking out if you're in the area.

Just read Dominic B's (Yelp CM) review that you were closing your tap room, so rush over!…read more Cut and pasted from their website: "Dokkaebi (도깨비), the mysterious, shape-shifting creatures found throughout Korean folklore." Quality/Quantity - You have been on my list to visit since you opened. I drink your beers in most (if not all) the local Korean Restaurants in the Bay. And at some non Korean restaurants. Today I enjoyed your Chuseok Porter, well a few of them... This by far was my favorite of all the beers I drank and tasted here. Also tasted the following: Dokkaebi IPA - Light and refreshing. Lemongrass Witbier - I can almost taste the lemongrass, another light and refreshing beer. K-Beer - Again, another light and refreshing beer. My daughter had the Calamansi & Tea Lager - This actually had more flavor then all the beers I drank except my porter. Lastly, my daughter noticed the Hazy IPA, Hazy Seoul. But I could not/did not want to drink any more. I guess I might have to rush over again before they close. For our snacks we got: KFC, Korean Fried Chicken - Not as authentic as I would have preferred. Gimmari - Wow, a home run. It helped that I have never had this before! My daughter says we will go to K-Town next time we are in LA and she will introduce me to Korean "street food." Looking forward to it. Atmosphere - Small local brewery. They also own the "kitchen" and storage area next door, see pictures. Metered street parking, but not a problem on a Sunday. And free meter parking on a Sunday. Shared restrooms with the other businesses in the building, you need a key. See pictures. Open 4 days a week (well only for one more week..) from Thursday to Sunday. See Yelp or their website. Service - Counter service, just okay. Price - $44 + tip. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2020 and here since 2023. The people here are always extremely welcoming and patient with me as I slowly read through their beer selection. And their beer selection--absolutely amazing.
