Loved this place before we even went to it. Everything from their website, the menu, the atmosphere, staff, food and drinks is phenomenal. I mean have you ever seen cuter décor and wallpaper?! We stopped in on both nights that we were in town and we were not disappointed. We were seated pretty quickly, chose to sit outside because of COVID and the weather was great. They have some really fun drink combinations and I love their creative cocktail names. As far as food goes, the Salmon Eggs Benedict is some of the best I've had in a while and they don't skimp on the hollandaise. The interior and exterior of Side Bar are beyond warm, inviting, and charming! Great Instagram photo spot! We went around 3pm after the brunch rush and before dinner. it wasn't busy or too crowded. The service was extremely slow from cleaning the tables, being seated, orders taken, check brought out etc. Our waiter walked past several times without checking on us and never refilled our water. When we received our checks we were charged extra for condiments, which wasn't stated on the menu or by the waiter. Overall the food was delicious. It was our first visit here and came for brunch on a Sunday. The Bloody Mary and huevos rancheros were very good. I think the best huevos rancheros I've ever had. My one issue was with the bathroom. It was filthy! Smelled like urine and very dirty. Felt like a gas station bathroom. It needs to be updated fixture wise, new toilet and sink, flooring and cabinets. A totally redo and then properly cleaned hourly. The toilet brush holder had green and black stuff growing on the base and looked like it hadn't been replaced in years. This almost ruined the whole experience for me. Great place to eat for lunch, or go out late at night! SideBar's food is always consistent and very good. The same goes with the mixed drinks, and their bartenders are great! Went out with a friend for lunch, and ended up walking in during Happy Hour, which runs from 2 PM - 6 PM. There Happy Hour for beers is rolling, so beers are $2 at 2 PM, $3 and 3 PM, and so on. Apps are $5. Ended up spending $16.50 for 2 beers and 2 app, which is an excellent deal, especially in downtown Leesburg. I ordered the buffalo chicken dip, which I normally get here. It's not that spicy, kind of lacks the buffalo sauce flavor, but overall, it's still a good appetizer to start. I also ordered the SideBar fries, and those are awesome! Covered in parmesan, garlic, and rosemary, they're lathered in flavor. Highly recommend getting a side of maple sriracha sauce. It's delicious! Great food, not so great service. My boyfriend and I came here for apps and drinks with two of our friends the week before Halloween. Our drinks and apps were good, but our server barely stopped by, never refilled our water and could not muster up any straws. Our friends ended up ordering burgers and they looked amazing (even the one with a gluten free bun) so we decided to go back two weeks later. The burgers WERE amazing, but the service was once again, awful, this time with a different server. Stopped by for brunch on Saturday afternoon (probably around 2pm). Weather outside was super nice, so we didn't care about waiting for outdoor seating, but was seated inside within five minutes of arrival! Pretty large coffee menu which was nice and the food was amazing. We shared a few items and left with full bellies (and leftovers). Cappuccino was tasty, fiancé liked the matcha latte. Skillet was amazing, two eggs, with plenty of potatoes and meat to fill one or two adults. Cinnamon roll came out very hot and was the perfect texture. Flaky enough to pick apart, and plenty of cinnamon and icing to cover it. Also ordered a side bagel which was $2, which was great to mop up the skillet bowl contents at the end. 10/10 - will return soon read more

There was no wait and since it was a nice day out, we asked to be seated in the outdoor area. They have a nice brunch menu and there was no way I could pass up Avocado Toast if it's available. Our waitress kindly accommodated my request for egg whites only. The BF ordered the Brunch omelette and we both opted for mimosas. For brunch dessert, we couldn't pass up the cinnamon roll. This place is dirty! We used a high chair and luckily we used one of our disinfectant wipes to wipe it down first. It was caked with food. Then there was a bunch of trash and food at the bottom of our table/seats. Considering they had just open 20 mins before we came, I'm guessing it's trash from the night before. There were also a bunch of flies swarming around our table which really added to the uncleanliness of the table area. Our server, John, messed up our orders quite a bit. There were six of us and I guess they try to memorize your orders here rather than write it down. Four out of the six dishes were prepared incorrectly. We only sent one back since it was missing the meat from the sandwich. The rest we just dealt with it. Happy hour bites were $5 per plate and were decently sized; however, the buffalo chicken dip was quite salty in my opinion. Need to go back and try their main dishes and coffee to give a more thorough review of the food. COVID-19 precautions were maintained- masks must be worn inside. Although some of the tables were a little closer than 6ft which made me a bit uncomfortable when waiters were trying to squeeze more seats in to a table. Terrible. Online takeout order for a burger with an egg. Waited 25 minutes. The "fried" egg was so raw it exploded out of the burger and onto my shirt, sweater, pants, table, and floor. Missing all the condiments too. So sad. Plus I asked the host to check on the order after waiting 20 min.
