I had to get past all the new apartment buildings and park at Market Station and walked a block. The bouquet of flowers here look very unique.

It was a seameless process to make the reservation online and edit as needed. There were automatic emails and texts for the reservation confirmation and reminder. Each afternoon tea includes 2 pots of tea, 1 macaron/person, and additional bites (savory & sweet). Luckily, there were 2 of us, so we each ordered our own teas. I'm not sure how flexible they are if requesting additional tea pots for larger parties (max 8 people). The weekdays tea is $35/person, weekends $40/person (needs a reservation). There is an 18% gratuity to all the final bill regardless of the number of people in the party. I would highly recommend the Thai tea...I don't add any sugar or cream to my tea and it was still so tasty. I ordered the coconut macaron, which is the newest addition the the macaron family. Parking: there is parallel parking available in front of and around the establishment. There is also a parking garage roughly 1 block (walking distance), which is free on the weekends. If planning a visit on the weekdays, be sure to read the parking signs carefully. I would definitely return to try other items on their menu.

We felt like we were being treated as second‑class customers. Not welcoming at all. I'm genuinely disappointed. This used to be one of my favorite spots, but if this is the direction the service is heading, I'm not sure I'll be back.

There are so many reasons to visit SideBar, but here are my top 6. *Images from private event 1. Best Happy Hour 2-6pm EVERY SINGLE DAY- Deviled eggs & General Tso's cauliflower are yummmm, but so is everything else. 2. Brunch on the weekends is a can't miss, especially the cinnamon roll. 3. The food (Diplomate Salad w/ blackened salmon, is so good. 4. Tons of outdoor seating in Downtown Leesburg which is hard to find. 5. And I've attended a few Private events for larger groups and they have been fabulous in every way. 6. They have must try cocktails and even opened 2 specialty cocktail bars. One upstairs called Night Shift, that has speak easy feels. And the newest out back called The Docket which is more cabana feels. All different and totally worth the stop. read more

The best restaurant in Leesburg! Great for any occasion. I can see that some people would not like it because of the old and rust interior, but reminds me of the all day cafe's in Europe. We wanted to go here for brunch but we went in later than planned so we just had lunch here. Crab cakes were amazing! So was the salad and fries. The fries were crunchy and the parmesan made it tastier! Service was not amazing, our waiter didn't seem to be well trained for the job. It took a very long time before our food came out. Terrible service. Slow and uninterested. We also went to their new bar upstairs (Night Shift) and it was crowded and trashy (also it looked very dirty). There are better options in Leesburg, especially when it comes to quality and service. We came back to Leesburg a few days later and tried Goose Cup for cocktails (they seemed to be a coffee shop that does cocktails as well). Had a much better experience overall. I have visited this unique restaurant/bar about 5 times now. The food has never disappointed. Unique menu items and a nice selection of GF food items. There is a back patio and an adorable courtyard if you choose to sit outside. Can't wait to try out their brunch...I hear it is amazing!!! read more

It really left a bad taste in our mouths. The crème brûlée looked like scrambled eggs. It was runny and lumpy. It looked more like cottage cheese than a custard. Like the sweet wine, we all left it untouched. We explained our grievances to the server and she said that she would not tell the chef because he was "sensitive" and she was too afraid of him. As a former server myself, I couldn't help but be upset. When it comes to customer service, your job is to have your guests leave happy and wanting to come back.
