Newer dealership in south Lincoln. Was in for service today. Staff was courteous and polite. The waiting room left a little to be desired. Leather seats, a kids play area. A little dark There were few amenities. Couple of jugs of Starbucks coffee, both regular and unleaded. Bottled water and a few choices in sodas in the cooler. It's 2:30 in the afternoon and the rack for cookies and donuts is empty for those needing their sugar fix. There is a couple of chairs at a desk area for their business center. I spent a few minutes walking thru the new car showroom, it was neat and orderly and I was not inundated by salesmen trying to stiff their business card so they could claim their commission if I bought a car. I've been to many dealerships for service all over the country. It certainly beats waiting at the corner gas station in the 70s, but this one is OK but certainly not the best. read more

Well lets get this started by saying that Sid Dillon was very quick with the loan approval process and they even drove the car from Nebraska to Kansas for us and drove our old car away. However, everything after that has been a total nightmare. They sent the title to our brand new car via regular mail (without signature required) so it was left on our porch and blew away in the wind. Then it has taken them over a month to get that situation fixed. They don't return calls in any sort of timely manner and they are incredibly unhelpful with getting the process fixed quickly. On top of that, they were lazy and didn't include tax title and tag in the sale somehow so we just found out that we have to pay the 4 thousand dollars (thats supposed to be part of the loan) to get the car registered. Absolute garbage of an experience with this dealersip. go somewhere else! read more

Buyer beware purchased a Grand Cherokee engine light came on and went into limp mode had 2 weeks in Lincoln and Crete 200 miles and a tank of gas later they called and said come get it keys are in it and the problem is STILL NOT FIXED! Took to Anderson Ford diagnosed the problem but Sid Dillion nor Crete will return calls to have a system update to transmission done Nice car but VERY POOR mechanic Service..Also purchased extended warranty and still cost 275 out of pocket for NOTHING.. I have bough quite a few vehicles and this was far the absolute worse experience I have ever had. First they said they would detail the car, it was a mess on pick up,, then they didn't have floor mats so we had to call back and request them. then we waited 30 days to get the title from them after multiple phone calls. Treatment after saying I will buy it should have a massive red flag. Car was not inspected or maintained by dealership, had to buy replace stuff the salesperson wouldn't. Finally was able to get it looked at with the issue of it stalling and/or dying in idle, with or without heater/ AC on. Got system update but issue could not be recreated even tho it died on the Porter that brought it back to me. So far have also had multiple emails ignored trying to address costs and concerns. Long story short, be Absolutely sure before you sign that its to the standard you can be happy with, because some staff and "Certified" Service department isn't worth much. read more

Went in ready to purchase a vehicle and gave the salesman a clear description of what I wanted and a budget cap. He gave offers exceeding my loan limit and persisted on changing my provider, after all of the declines he found the "perfect" vehicle and told me to wait in the lobby. Took over 20 minutes to show something that didn't fit the description and was out of the price range. Wasted almost an hour of my time. I would recommend looking online first. The reviews speak for themselves and a copy paste response doesn't help. read more

I took our car to Sid Dillon Lincoln to have a 2nd key fob programmed for our Hyundai. Though promised to be done by the dealer within 2 hours we have not heard from them in over 4 hours. When contacted at 12:30 they said the car was in a bay but the technician was at lunch. How convenient. read more

sales side of the Hyundai is great. the service side not. took my car in and when I went to check on it 5 hours later the guy said tha the tech was still working on it. I said that's funny why is it parked out back? by the way the car notifies you when the car doors get locked and unlocked. so it showed that 10 minutes after I dropped it off they parked it out back and locked the doors and never touched the car. 5 hours they had it and lied about them still working on it when I got there when in fact they never did anything to it. read more

I would give them 0 stars for Sid Dillon Service if I could. I bought a Silverado there last year. I have had so much go wrong with it and had to have it towed there again last week. When I called , I explained it was the same issues that they repaired two months back. Prior to scheduling a tow to their facility, I asked if the tow and the diagnosis would be covered and they explained they will pay for this at no cost to me. So, I called the towing company they informed me of (capitol city towing) and now Dave from Sid Dillon Service is stating I have to pay $250 for the tow and diagnosis after they said they would take care of that for me before I even scheduled the tow.... I have been a customer there for 10 plus years and they are terrible to work with and go back on their word. I would not suggest taking your vehicle to their service department. Stay away! read more

Was looking for a 2020 Hyundai Palisade, and could not have had a worse experience at Sid Dillon Hyundai. The heavy-set lady who was our initial rep, was anything but professional. Her attire was close to repulsive. We asked for the for sales manager (short guy with gray hair), and he was not much better. It was bait and switch, providing false information, and just plain rude. This is not the Lincoln, NE way!!! They told me no one within 500 miles had a White Palisade, but surprise, surprise, there were lots of them, and I purchased one for $3,875 less than Sid Dillon. Same exact vehicle, same options, etc. I know the Huskers Athletics Dept is looking to find another dealership partner, for they too are getting horrible service and poor attitudes. I know numerous coaches, staff, etc., have asked the higher-up's to find a new place in which they can get vehicles... and I don't blame them! So seriously, there are so many other dealers who would value your business, and will treat you like a real person. I despise having to waste my time in leaving a review, but do yourself a favor and find a dealership who can provide an enjoyable and memorable buying experience. GBR!! read more

When everything is said and done, I never leave feeling like I got worked over. I purchased a used vehicle may 5 from this dealership. We had a trade in and a down payment. After agreeing on the price and writing a check. We were told that they could not release the vehicle off the lot due to safety concerns and the repair should be done by the weekend. We waited a full week before we could get the vehicle. The parts that we were told were ordered before we even looked at the van were in fact not ordered until they had our money. After that we thought everything would be fine. We had the vehicle one full week before it started making a noise. We took it back to service and they told me they could not replicate the noise. After 3 days of having it in the shop I had to drive the GM around in order to point out a grinding noise, which I was told " the previous owners probably hit a raccoon and skewed the exhaust and it's probably rattling". No repairs were made and I'm not confident in the vehicles safety, but also don't trust the service center to repair it. Finally, I went to the DMV to register the vehicle and was told the previous owners signed the title incorrectly and the title was sent back to be fixed. Which means I can't legally drive my vehicle until the dealership gets the title fixed. When I called and spoke with Shawn in titling was told the previous owner might be in later this week and we can still drive the vehicle just to keep papers with us. I'm sorry but telling your customers to drive a vehicle A) unsafely and B) illegally does not sound like good customer service. read more

This was the worst experience i've ever had with a dealership. They sold a car right out from under me and did not tell me until I came to purchase the car. I looked at a car and it was still in the shop and he promised nobody else would buy it until then so i set up an appointment for 2 days later and they had sold it to a mechanic without telling me and i drove 2 hours to buy the car just to learn this. I also learned the car had passed inspection but apparently needed new suspension and tie rods still and weren't going to tell me before they sold it to me. Found new Buick Encore online with a great price. Made appointment with Christain for 1215 and he showed up around 4. Long story short it took 4 hours of hell to pay cash for a new Buick. Salesman ( Blake ) tried but business is so poorly managed it is pure Chaos. We received so many apologies from so many people including general manager that it felt like their standard sales pitch. General Manager seemed like this is just how things work. I would not recommend this business to anyone. Buick is a top of the line car company to be so poorly represented. Purchased a New Honda from Honda of Lincoln a couple of years ago and it was very Professional and pleasant. Maybe they can train some of these people. In October I Purchased a New Denali Diesel down the street and with trade in, negotiating and financing it only took 2 hours without appointment. read more

Beware of this place. I've bought two cars from this dealer (one from the Nissan Side and one from the Hyundai side) experiences were decent at best. Sales guys are friendly, sales managers are condescending, basically what you'd expect. BUT, then I took my car to the body shop portion of this dealer and that's when things went from okay to COMPLETELY shady and probably fraudulent. My car was damaged by a snow plow so insurance was covering the bill. The insurance company estimate came in a grand higher than Sid Dillons initial estimate, so naturally they found away to spend the difference. Then they called me after three weeks and told me my car was ready. When I arrived I found they had forgot to paint the grill (mind blowingly incompetent), didn't tighter the hood down, had pieces from the door still on my dash, didn't reinstall the parts for sound dampening and totally, totally screwed up placement of windshield wiper blade (so much it was smacking the car when turned on). They said sorry, then took the car another couple days and they called me to pick it up again. This is when it gets borderline fraudulent. I noticed in the insurance estimate it had to replace the radiator, which was the thousand dollar difference between the estimate. I popped the hood and could obviously tell that no one had touched the radiator (there was still dust and dirty on it). I asked them point blank if they had replaced all the parts on the insurances estimate. They said YES! I asked how they could replace a radiator with out touching it and then they back peddled and said there was some other part they ended up replacing instead which conveniently cost the same amount. This is the kind of dealership you will receive service from if you buy a car from then. Needless to say, I will never do business with any Sid Dillon dealership again. read more

I found the Acadia online, I specifically asked if there was any damage anywhere on the vehicle. The salesman Tyler, said "only a few minor door dings, scratches" which I am ok with and I asked because I was not able to go see the vehicle myself due to husband having back surgery so they brought it here. The delivery guys got the papers out and had me sign and hurried off, then I looked over the car and There was a significant break in the fender of the passenger side. To where the bar the screws should be secured to was bent completely inward. the plastic guard was broke and hanging barely an inch or two from the tire. I sent pictures right away, got a response moments ago and Tyler swore he didn't see it, you can see it clear across the drive way so if he could see scratches, he couldn't have missed this. I then got a call from the manager and he said and I quote "bring it back and we will unwind it for you because there is a shortage of vehicles I have 3 other people who would buy this car today" And "he is human he just missed it we all make mistakes" like for real? Told him I wouldn't be able to bring it down that's why I had them bring it here. He said find someone this week who could for me. No apology, no we will pay to get that fixed, nothing other than it's a cheap part 20 30 dollars that any shop could do. Completely rude and was continuously talking over me, not even listening to my concern and his only response was bring it back we will resell it because theres a shortage, there are 1000s of used vehicles for sale. I now wish I would have went somewhere local. They obviously take advantage of people. read more

I have a Hyundai Sonata that has a recall. It is my only mode of transportation. I live an hour away. The only days I can do this is on weekends, but they don't do recall work on weekends. I can't afford to take time off of work or pay for a rental car ($35/ day) through them. They will not work with me to get the recall taken care of without me taking time off of work. The manager Ryan was unresponsive to our email. We visited the Hyundai store to look at a vehicle, when it came time to review the price for a lease, we talked to the salesman about what we would pay (meanwhile the manager Ryan was listening in on the conversation at the desk next to us) my husband was trying to negotiate the deal he was in no way being rude or unreasonable and the manager Ryan finally poped his head over the desk and very rudely started talking to my husband about the price and eventually as the conversation was going nowhere he stated he was very clear on the phone about the price of the vehicle. We've leased vehicles for years now and know how this goes. We also understand the market right now. However in no way is it ok to speak to customers this way. Since when can a customer not come in to a dealership and try to get the best deal if you were " very clear" about the price on the phone. Do you not expect people to come in and look at cars anymore? Since when is the price quote over the phone the final price? I will never purchase a vehicle from this Hyuandai dealership when they allow their employees to speak to people this way. If there is no negotiation possible that's ok, again we understand how the market is right now you can simply say unfortunately we can't come down on the price and be a civil human being, there is no reason for rudeness in that conversation. read more

Horrible service. They had my car for three weeks to do body work. When I picked it up one of my tires had been damaged, and the low pressure sensor was on. Had it for another two days. Sensor still on when I picked it up on my lunch break. They said they would call me a shuttle, so my ride left. Waited for 20 minutes. Turns out no shuttles were available. No one cared to inform me. Car still not fixed. Literally the worst experience I have ever had trying to get a car repaired. Would not recommend. read more

I bought my car from Sid Dillon in Fremont. Part of the sale was that they would replace the windshield, fix the cruise control, and replace a part on the seat. I scheduled the appointment 3 times because they kept screwing up when they would get the parts in. Dropped my car off at 8 am and was told they "forgot" to order one part. Called at 4 pm to see if it was ready and they told me it would probably be another 2 hours. My appointment was made 2 weeks in advance and they screwed up majorly. I thought I would give Sid Dillon time to make things right before posting reviews on Google, Yelp, Nissan and Sid Dillon's site, but nothing is happening.. It has been about a month since I have purchased my car, and the car has ALREADY been in the shop and has yet to be fixed. When I picked up my car, the front rim had a huge scrape on it. I immediately contacted Sid Dillon and they said they would take care of the problem. Well it has been 2 weeks and I have yet to hear from ANY ONE! Not only do I have a brand new car with several problems, my paint is chipping off. ---Below is the email that was sent to Sid Dillion prior to me posting my review--- To whomever it may concern, After purchasing a car brand new Nissan Sentra on 10/30/15 I expected to drive away satisfied, unfortunately I am now left with frustration, disappointment, and sadly a little buyer's remorse. I am eager to bring the car in due to some arising issues however before I come in I want to make sure my concerns and expectations are clearly expressed. Car: I purchased a brand new vehicle expecting to leave without any imperfections or complications. Here I am two weeks later, after already communicating concerns of interior light issues, with a vehicle that is not performing to expectations. I am also noticing issues when the vehicle is starting, a hesitation or stalling when using push start. I am eager to have these issues addressed, however the expectation when receiving a new vehicle is that I shouldn't be experiencing this two weeks later. I expected a thorough inspection as it states all vehicles have gone through "Nissan high-quality inspection and standards". When I brought my vehicle back in on October 31st to bring attention to the lighting issue, I attempted to talk to Mr.Ward regarding in-transit issues that I was alerted of by my insurance. I waited 20 minutes to meet, then was met with impatience and true annoyance. Nothing was resolved; Mr.Ward was "too busy". I understand the profession of sales is time consuming; however just as it is true to my own job, customer/family satisfaction is of the utmost importance! Finance: This process has been both time consuming and frustrating due to lack of communication, failure to disclose necessary information, and truly the professionalism of sales workers/managers. I now know that Nissan requires a different finance method; however the lack of disclosure when completing this process left me exhausted and ill-informed. I understand the work that was put in to make sure I was financed and taken care of, however this process should not leave customers feeling taken advantage of and unsatisfied. I appreciate the first payment being "taken care of", however due to the lack of employee knowledge; this should have been a complimentary instead of made out to be a "gift". With the three days - twelve hours- spent in this process it's unfortunate that I'm still feeling taken advantage of and unsatisfied. The process should have been fluid and easy. I have yet to complete the customer satisfaction surveys and reviews. Long story short, the new car buying experience last year wasn't fun but it never is. We were in a truly emergency transportation situation with my elderly father in Nebraska. I live in California and my brother in Lincoln helped me purchase my father a new car to get back and forth from his rural southeast Nebraska home to Lincoln for chemotherapy and radiation appointments. A 2015 Nissan Versa S sedan. We were hardly in a position to have time to get a good deal so we paid pretty much the full MSRP (got about $300 off). I flew in to Lincoln, wrote them a check for $14,200 and prepared to leave. They had one key for this new vehicle and acted slightly put out when we insisted on a second key. "We can't find it". This is not the way I typically do business but we left with the one key and that was it. There were twenty other things to deal with that day so we just let it go. My father died a few months later and we had a nearly new car (4,200 highway-only miles) that is in absolute mint condition. Obviously, I hoped to not lose too much on it by taking it back to Sid Dillon to see if they would buy it back. They made several thousand $'s off us the first time and I was hopeful they may settle for only profiting another $1000-$2000 and take it off our hands. I still live in California and dealt with Kody Spano via a phone call. I asked to speak with either the new or used car manager and he represented himself as one. We spoke at length about the car, he had all the records from the purchase a short time earlier, and he understood exactly what he was dealing with. He said they would buy it back for "all-in, somewhere between $10,500 and $11,000" as long as it was in the exact condition I described. It is new, unmarked, and you can't tell it has even been driven other than it has 4,200 miles. After all my brother had done for my father locally, I was trying to do as much of the pre-work as possible for my brother and not waste his time -- Kody assured me that if I accurately represented the car, that's what they'd pay for it. Losing $3200-$3700 on a virtually new car wasn't something I was wild about but I've purchased and sold numerous cars in my life so it was about what I expected. My brother took the car in. He got there and Kody passed him off to another person who represented himself as one of the managers and told my brother he would buy the car for $8000 and not a dollar more. My brother pointed out what I had been told by Kody but the manager passed that off easily and stated again that the offer was $8000. Obviously, that was the end of it, my brother has dealt with several Lincoln car dealerships over the years and says he fully expected this to happen, he just left in disgust. Obviously everyone is in business to make money and we are business people and we understand this. However, these kind of practices are really at a level that should be below anyone who considers themselves a reputable car dealership. What a black eye Sid Dillon Nissan is for the Lincoln car market. read more

Sid Dillon is a joke. First, we drove three hours to test drive a car that, as we were finally driving into Lincoln, we received a phone call for to be told it had been sold. We decide to continue to Sid Dillon on the promise that they will work with our budget and find us something to leave with that day. Upon arrival at the main location, we are made to stand outside in the parking lot for 25 minutes (with a 2 month old) before we are then told that there is nothing at this location within our budget and we were then sent to the smaller location off of O street. Upon arrival there, we test drove and fell in love with a 2005 Kia Sportage (which was eventually purchased in my father's, Terry's, name). The only issue with the car was that the TPMS light was on. We were told the light would go off before we got it home and that the issue with it were fixed it just needed to be driven in order for the light to shut off. We get the car home and the light does not shut off after three days of driving the car. We call Sid Dillon and are told to drive the car back to Lincoln to get the issue correctly taken care of. We do this and wind up getting a sensor replaced. The light comes on again on our drive home. We are told to drive the car back to Lincoln... Long story short, we have driven the car back to Lincoln from Omaha FIVE SEPARATE TIMES. Each time a sensor has been replaced and each time the light has come back on halfway on the drive home. We have called twice after this last instance of the SAME EXACT issue and left two separate voice mails (one in the general voice mail box and one in the specific technician that has been working on the vehicle's mailbox), neither of which have yet to be returned. We have owned the car for a little over five weeks now and have had to take five separate days off of work to drive the car back to Lincoln to be worked on (because even if we set up an appointment at 12pm or 1pm they always seem to finish working on it around 5 or 6pm as they are closing/their technicians are leaving) and put over 1,000 miles on the car just to get this issue taken care of. That of which it is not. Not to mention the countless tanks of gas we have had to pay for over all of this or the meals we have had to buy from being stranded in Lincoln for an entire day multiple times. I will never recommend Sid Dillon to anyone ever in my lifetime and neither will anyone in my family or friend groups. read more

We have had four cars repaired at the Sid Dillon Buick body shop. Everyone of these repairs was gone as well as I have ever seen body work done, on a Mercedes twice, BMW, and a Cadillac. We will not bring our cars to anyone else for Repair because they obviously take pride in their work, it's finished on time, and the prices match the expectations of our estimators.in Lincoln Nebraska, if you have one of these cars, I would urge you to consider their body shop. read more

Called about a used truck on the website, which they said they had. Made an appointment to look at it. Showed up and they had a different truck out. They apparently sold the other one the day before but wanted me to come in to sell me something else. Which I might have done if they had just told me it was gone. Tried to buy a different truck, but they played the game. With an 812 credit score, they couldn't do better than 7.2% APR. So I said I was leaving. Magically they talked to the manager and they got it down to 4.5%. Still 1% higher then my bank. I had a good experience in 2009 with them when I bought a new truck. But their sales Dept has changed. I won't be going back to them. Ever. I hate playing games, which I made clear up front. read more

Three words for this dealership - Don't Buy Here! A purchasing nightmare from the get-go and still on-going some 6 weeks later! I drove from Omaha to Lincoln to do the deal on a used 2014 Mazda. A VERY long story made shorter was when I picked up my car from Galvin Glass in Bellevue, (where the car was taken by the dealership after purchase to have leather seats installed), I discovered on the interstate home that the car was left for me with nothing in the gas tank but fumes. The emergency gas light was on and not one mark registered on the gas gauge the car it had so little gas left in it. Not what I expect when paying $24,000 for a car. The car was missing the spare remote at the time of purchase and they offered to order me a new one. That was nice of them but the hassle afterward cancelled out the thought. It took two weeks AFTER they had the remote in their possession to actually GET it to me. And when I called asking about it, I was repeatedly lied to about the date it went in the mail. I was told three different dates over a two week period and all were proved false when I looked up the UPS tracking details once the device actually arrived. I've never heard "check's in the mail" so many times and it was never true. I was constantly on the phone wondering where it was as the mail only takes two days from Lincoln to Omaha, not TWO weeks. And I really didn't appreciate being lied to repeatedly about the dates. But there was more lying about dates to come .... THIRD, yes there's more!, they mis-typed the odometer mileage on the title paperwork so when I went to the DMV to pay my taxes and get my plates, I was told I couldn't because the title was still in the old owners name. Thus, ensued what has now become a 6 week, and still on-going, nightmare. Again, I was told on about five separate instances that "check's in the mail" only to find, NO they still hadn't done their job properly and when the paperwork finally did make it to the courthouse (25 days after purchase), it was REJECTED! They messed up again and their "fix" of the paperwork was not accepted by the courthouse. Now I'm told that the paperwork (issuance of a duplicate title) is out of their hands with the State and there is nothing they can do about it, it's going to take as long as it takes. Their idea of reparation for all this hassle? A $100 gift card to a restaurant. I told them to keep their $100 gift card. And this is the Reader's Digest version. Bottom line ... Don't bother with this dealership. I was pleased with my experience. I leased a car, and had some comparisons. My only difficulty was the trade in, and I had to watch closely as they told me my trade in was much more than they were planning on by way of using some rebates. But they weren't planning on giving me the rebates. They were putting toward the car and lease price. In the end, since I caught it, it went fine. Finance guy was great! read more
