My car started making a grinding noise whenever I would turn my steering wheel more than 45 degrees while on my road trip across the country. The team at Watson agreed to see me on short notice and took my car on a test drive around the block as well as lifted the car to check. What I thought to be a CV axle issue turned out to be more minor but the speed and thoroughness of the service was priceless in providing me piece of mind as I continue along my trip. *UPDATE* The guys at this shop do have small town values and they stand by their work. If the problem persists after having paid them for their work they will take care of you, which i greatly appreciate. I did have to come back but it didn't cost me anything but time. Came here to get a tire patched on my truck because I found a nail in my rear passenger tire while doing some work on the vehicle. I told the mechanic what the problem was and showed them the nail. After they plugged the first one, I paid the $15 for the repair. As I was paying, the mechanic who was servicing my vehicle came in and informed me that he had found another nail in the tire. Expecting and fully prepared to pay for two plugs, I was surprised when Kevin, the man checking me out, told the mechanic to go ahead and patch it up and didn't charge me extra. My car AC had a leak and I brought my car into the shop to get fixed!! I found I was a little short on money, and they offered to work out a payment option with me! They were able to get my car fixed in a timely manner and also washed my car for me. The guys here are very honest and genuine. I was in need of a new thermostat for my car and I had no idea who to call. After consulting my friend, she suggested that I call Watson's Auto. They were able to see my car the next day and diagnose what was causing my car problems (besides the thermostat) within 30 minutes after I dropped it off. By the time I was done with my classes for the day, my car was fixed, vacuumed, and washed. Whenever I have a problem with my car, I will call Watson' s Auto first. They are my goto guys. Took my car on 04/3/2017 to have a new exhaust. I was charged over $500. Not even 1 1/2 yrs later I'm in need of a new exhaust. It's clearly still under their 3yr/36000 mile warranty on all parts and labor. They definitely don't have small town values or stick to their warranty. Save your hard earned money and go elsewhere. They also left me a voicemail stating that they are gonna get their lawyer after me...I posted all of it on their Facebook page for proof! Very unprofessional! read more

Was charged 48.00 for a 13.00 gasket. They need to make a profit but come on, never again.

I went here for an oil change and to assess a wobbly wheel. Had to leave car for the day to access and be driven home. The lady that drove me was nice enough, but the car was filthy with personal items all over the floor, spelled like trash and cigarettes. I found out she started working there 6 weeks ago. I received a call back about 3.5 hours later telling me all of things that needed repaired totalling over $500, I got the bare minimum to be fixed (one tire not good) 2 new tires for balance), alignment, new tire rim (bent) for $400. The service guy was not happy that I wanted to call around for other estimates, and when I called back to let him know, he suggested that a "service fee" for assesment would have to be applied. By the time the lady came to pick me up, it was already 2pm (I took car in at 9am), I could tell the service manager was not pleased, but I am single and on a budget, and won't be "scared" into doing a car service that I do not need. When I got my car back, I had to rush to goodyear (on 66th and O....highly suggest them by the way) and they assessed and fixed everything within the hour for $299. Quite a difference, they also treated me like a valued customer. I guess smaller service centers are not all they are cracked up to be. read more

Our cross country trip from CA came to a halt when we turned on our Impreza wrx and the check engine light was on ! :( we assumed it was something small because the car ran perfect still. Went to Watsons because of the great reviews & it was simply Perfection. They treated us kindly took the car in right away 35 min later they found out it was a loose sensor wire and didn't "gauge" us with useless things. They even did a free safety inspection since we told them how far we were going. Simply amazed at the quality of the service. . The food place they recommended us was even good too ! Called to set up an appointment. They were busy, but when I said I needed it right away, they found a time to fit me for an oil change. I also had my belts tighten, headlights cleaned, and my back brakes adjusted all in under an hour. The guys were all super friendly and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg. Great service. These guys are great. They fixed a whole slew of problems on my truck and had it back to me the next day. A few days later, as luck would have it, the starter went out (not related to previous problems) and I had to bring it back here again. They had it fixed and back to me the SAME DAY. They even stayed past their posted closing time to allow me an opportunity to come pick it up when it was finished. Also, they were Johnny-on-the-spot with keeping me in the loop via phone calls, which is very important to me. I don't appreciate it when I have to repeatedly call to get updates on my vehicles while they're in the shop, but this place never left me wondering what was going on. Can't speak highly enough about Mark, Tony, and the team at Watson's Auto Service! After having driven halfway across the country on our way to Minneapolis from Los Angeles, my girlfriend and I found ourselves in a predicament when we stopped in Lincoln, NE for the night. As we pulled into our hotel parking lot with a moving trailer in tow, my truck suddenly bogged down like it had no power and the check engine light came on. First thing the next morning (on a Monday) we called around town seeking help with our situation only to encounter nothing but roadblocks. One place couldn't work on my truck due to the make (Nissan), another was only really willing to look at the truck if we could figure out how to disconnect the trailer ourselves first (it didn't have it's own jack), and another said they were so backed up they couldn't get us in until the end of the week. We should have spoken with Mark at Watson's first. He acknowledged that they were very busy (which they obviously were when we arrived), but also had compassion enough to understand that we needed to get back on the road as quickly as possible. He fit us in and they immediately started diagnosing the issue. After discussing what was going on with the truck and giving us very reasonable options, we agreed to the recommended service and they had us back on the road before noon. Mark even checked in with us the next day to make sure we made it safely back to Minnesota and wish us a happy 4th of July. A month later, my high-mileage truck is still running great with no problems. Don't bother checking around town, you won't find a more professional and outstanding auto service than Watson's. read more

JUST arriving in Lincoln, NE for 2 weeks, I noticed that the CV shaft which was just installed had the outer boot clamp break off, and the axle grease began to discharge all over the wheel well assembly and the breaking components. I contacted Watson's thru the positive "YELP" reviews and set an appointment w/ Mark the next day. When I arrived Mark and I discussed the problem, and he recommended a replacement of the Axle, because he couldn't guarantee that the internal components of the CV shaft had not been compromised with external materials. Mark had one of the technicians look at the vehicle, and also found that the transmission cooling line were also leaking and recommended replacing them and getting a wheel alignment because the steering wheel was off-center. I agreed to the work, Mark arranged for a loaner vehicle and contacted me when the work was completed later that afternoon. It was refreshing to get great service at a decent price. Mark and the technicians were professional and friendly. We've all seen bad service & bad prices.. This isn't the place... Fast, friendly, reliable, and warranted service. I feel comfortable driving back to VA next week. BTW the car is a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and rides like NEW! read more
