After purchasing a new Civic there, we had our trade devalued because they pulled the service records (which were incomplete as we had work done other places) and tried to take thousands off the trade-in value for things they thought weren't maintained. Total joke. Service has also stonewalled us on engine repairs under extended warranty due to our vehicle having a previous salvage title for side damage that was repaired. Basically, they will look for any string they can pull to make you spend more money. It's the definition of a shady used car dealer. If you want to be treated well and valued as a customer, do yourself a favor and avoid this place!

I would drive to Omaha and take my chances at a Honda dealership there over trying to negotiate with the people here. I ended up buying a used Toyota (my first choice) at Anderson on north 27th. Not sure I'd go back there in the future, but was more successful with bargaining there.

That done, after 45 minutes waiting, the rep came out and told me that the part they had for my car had instead been installed on a new car in the lot. (I was told when I made the appointment that it was the last part they had, and they would save it for my vehicle). I was shocked to hear this, as this is a serious safety issue. I am not to fill the gas tank over half full, and Subaru instructed owners to park away from our house if the outdoor temperature rises quickly!! I chose a Subaru over several other vehicles, and now am seriously questioning their commitment to their customers. It seems that customer service should honor an appointment made to fix this, especially verses putting the part scheduled for my car onto a vehicle on the lot. I already knew it was out. I wasn't asking them to "diagnose" it like it was some mystery problem. They charged me $57 for the oil change, then turned around and charged me $180 as a "standard service fee" just to tell me the pump was out and needs replaced... which is exactly what I told them when I walked in. When I brought it up to Kevin (service advisor) and asked what that $180 even covered, he said they might check wires and connections but when I asked what they actually did on MY vehicle, he had no idea. How are you a service advisor and you can't explain what was done, but you're still forcing a $180 charge? Kevin was also rude as heck about it. This is exactly why auto shops have the reputation they do because places like this will charge you almost $200 for nothing and act like you're the problem for questioning it.

It's 2:30 in the afternoon and the rack for cookies and donuts is empty for those needing their sugar fix. There is a couple of chairs at a desk area for their business center. I spent a few minutes walking thru the new car showroom, it was neat and orderly and I was not inundated by salesmen trying to stiff their business card so they could claim their commission if I bought a car. I've been to many dealerships for service all over the country. It certainly beats waiting at the corner gas station in the 70s, but this one is OK but certainly not the best.
