Appetizer sampler

We NEED MORE TIME!! The place was beautiful. We were crunching on time. Though our time was brief and short, it was quite pleasant visit. With the time we had, we only order a few dishes before our broadway show which was located nearby. The food came out quick. Though we only ordered a few dishes, it was enough to fill up our tummy with content. We would definitely come back again to get the full dining experience

Garlic Shrimp with head on

The food was delicious the service swift and the drinks very good. What can I say we stumbled on this place thanks to Yelp! I had the coconut shrimp, not the deep fried, battered with coconut. They brought out a cup cake for my mom's birthday too. She had the garlic shrimp. Careful it is super spicy! I enjoyed their take on the espresso martini. Well worth a visit. I chose the chicken wing appetizer because I was hangry. The place was decorated a modern asian decor with hip music playing.

I was craving mango sticky rice and decided to pop in before the dinner rush. A quick look at the menu made me realize that maybe I should eat something before going straight for the dessert so I ordered a thai iced tea and the appetizer sampler. I really liked the variety of appetizers which included the chicken satay skewers, money bag dumplings, fried roti and dumplings. I like that there were 4 different dipping sauces which accompanied the platter. The thai iced tea was sweet and the mango sticky rice came with a side of coconut cream to drizzle more for those who love coconut. The server was very attentive and I really love how the green and gold decor compliment each other.

This place was really good (we only had appetizers). The sampler platter was a little bit of everything which was great and the tum yum soup was spot on. We also had Thai tea and it was more tea than milk which is a good sign. My only complaints would be that you cannot adjust spice levels (or we weren't asked at least) and wish the soup was a little spicier. The restaurant is decorated very cute but the floors can be extremely slippery (there was light rain earlier in the day) so beware!

We started with the usual papaya salad -- light, refreshing, and a great way to ease in. Then came the grilled pork jowl. I loved the rendered, fatty bites, but my partner wasn't a fan of the fatty texture. We also ordered the extra‑spicy pad kra pao with pork, and they definitely delivered on the heat. Same goes for the chicken red curry -- bold and spicy. Service was fine, nothing remarkable

Beautiful!!!!!!!!!!! Great place for a date night or special night out. Sleek decor, lovely lighting, excellent cocktails, attentive service, and delicious food. Reservations recommended. We loved the crispy crab roll as our starter. The rolls have a delicious tofu skin. This the best pad Thai I've ever had. Wow! The green curry with shrimp was very flavorful. The green curry head the perfect amount of kick! The homemade coconut ice cream was phenomenal, topped with fresh mint leaves. So refreshing! The passion fruit martini was the best cocktail I've had in a long time. I loved it!! The Thai iced tea was delicious as well. Wonderful experience!

I came here for a business dinner on a weeknight and it wasn't very busy. It was easy to reserve a table via one of the services, and we were seated right away. The décor is so cute and it was fun to see a menu with some different options. I appreciate that they have the gluten free and dietary restriction/allergen information labeled, which was helpful in my decision making. We got the Pomelo Crab Salad and it was delicious! If you're not an adventurous eater, you might be put off by the strong smell of the shrimp paste. I also got the vegetable green curry, and I convinced my colleague to order the Khao Soi. We loved our food and drinks, and we really enjoyed our time here. I'll definitely be back and recommend it as a great elevated Thai option to others in the future!

So happy to have this lovely addition to south Loop. Beautiful space , well decorated and nice ambiance. I went with some friends on a weekday for a late dinner . The staff can be a tad bit slow and inattentive but the food made up for it. We had the sea food tom yum , tofu green curry and garlic shrimp . Everything was delicious! Will be back with the family soon.

This place is so nice and beautiful! We came in the afternoon before the busy rush and our food came out so quickly. Their Thai tea is so creamy and good. Their pomelo salad is really good and filled with flavors and spices. I really enjoyed their fried pork and Chinese broccoli with a side of white rice. Their wide noodles with chicken also was so delicious. Will definitely be back to try more on their menu.

Alright alright alright!! Come dive with me into this over the top food experience!! From the moment you walk in, everything is amazing!! The decor, the plates, the utensils, the wine glasses, the food, the service!!!! Everything!! I legit wanted to take the silverware and plates! Everything was so cute! Haha For Galantines we wanted to switch up our usual pasta heavy restaurant choice. So we opted for Thai! We started off with the Siam platter, highly recommended!! Everything was a hit! You get a little bit of sweet and savory! Next we all shared our entrees! The kana moo krob was by far my favorite dish!! The pork belly was perfectly cooked. Enough crisp on the outside, justify and tender in the middle!! The pad see ew was another hit!! I literally had to put my chopsticks on the other side of the table because I couldn't stop eating all the delicious food!! After our amazing entrees we some how found room for dessert. The Siam dessert set was perfect for our table!! The mango rice was to die for!! So many reviews compared it to one they had in Thailand, I've never been, but can share it was a hit!!! Overall this place is a hidden gem and I can't wait to be back!

chicken pad kee mao

Easily five stars without hesitation. Siam Thai Eatery has such a great vibe. The space is really pretty, trendy, and feels like somewhere you actually want to hang out, not just grab food and leave. It was packed for lunch on a Tuesday, which honestly says everything about how popular and well-loved it is. Despite how busy it was, service was incredibly fast and friendly. What really blew me away was how insanely fast the food came out. For a place that busy, I was shocked at how quickly it arrived! I ordered the chicken pad kee mao and it was AMAZING. Perfect level of spice, tons of flavor, and every single bite was delicious. The chicken was cooked perfectly, the vegetables were fresh and crisp, and the whole dish just worked. One of those plates where you keep saying "wow" halfway through. Overall, this is exactly what you want from a great Thai spot: cool atmosphere, fast and friendly service, and food that absolutely delivers. I will 100% be back the next time I'm in Chicago.

Siam Thai Eatery has been on my list for a while and I am glad I finally visited. I recommend getting the Siam Platter to try 4 different appetizers for only a $10 difference of the regular price of 1. The food came out very quickly, everything was fresh and hot. The portions were large. The interior is gorgeous and perfect for a date night. The wait staff were very attentive and friendly. Definitely will be back! My total was about $52 and I tipped to $60.

Crispy Coconut Shrimp

The Thai fried chicken was DELICIOUS. Perfect texture and crunch/breading. The sauce was spectacular! The rice was good as well. The salad was also very good- It was fresh! The coconut shrimp was delicious as well! I loved the sauce for this. The blood orange mojito and passion fruit mocktails were great! The tofu had a perfect texture! The cost was also very good! Especially for the vibe and quality of food. I would def come again!

Overall nice ambience and decent food. The pad Thai was a bit bland and needed more of a sour salt feeling to it. The papaya salad was good.

There are window views from the restaurant, making for good people watching. Mainly metered parking available Medium to large sized place with dedicated sections for thai food (about 8 tables and 2 rows of bar style seats) vs for sushi and ramen but all under the same place/owner, can order from any menu - the decor on that side is super cute, fish cutouts, anime/manga decorated walls, decked out bars Got the scuba diving chicken from the chefs faves and must say it was pretty good - a bit on the greasier side but the aroma of the herbs and the spices from the curry really pull through, chicken is cooked very well, super tender and juicy. I got the "No turning back" spice level and theres a hefty kick - halfway into the dish my mouth def feels it but nothing too extreme (FYI theres a slight mala-like numbingness to it) The traditional papaya salad was crunchy and refreshing, sauce is tangy but not too overwhelming. The peanuts add a nice nutty element to it. There were hardly any dried shrimp, so wouldve like to see a bit more of that. Be sure to give it a good mix as the sauce and topping fall to bottom of the bowl To top it off, the service was great. Albert was really attentive and helpful - would come back if im in the gold coast area again to try the other menu offerings

Seating was a little tight like at Phodega, but not terrible. To view menu, you scan a QR code at the table. My husband & I ordered the following: - Grilled Squid This was really good! I thought it was going to come out like little calamari rings, but it was actually a decently sized whole squid, sliced with the tentacles on the side. It was cooked perfectly as it was not chewy or rubbery. The flavor was great, especially with the paired Thai-spicy seafood sauce. - Crab Meat Fried Rice Loved that this was with real crab! & not the imitation crab. There were bits of crab meat throughout the rice and then topped with a big lump of crab meat. It came served with a lime & yummy fish sauce with fresh Thai chili's. - Bamee Noodles with BBQ Pork without broth This bowl of egg noodles had a slightly sweet flavor to it, served with a fox amount of BBQ Pork which was also nice & tender! Slurped it all up! - Jina's Fried Chicken This was good, but not anything like out of this world. It was fried chicken leg quarter, served with black sticky rice. - Sweet Sticky Rice with Mango LOVED this! It was a great way to end our meal! I loved that it came with extra sweet sauce! - Taro Tapioca in Coconut Milk Cream This was great too! It was actually a warm dessert. The menu described it as "Tapioca pearls" so I was expecting the tiny little clear boba balls, but it was cubes of like glutinous rice. Which was not bad! I liked it a lot; it reminded me of Ginataang Bilo Bilo (#iykyk if you're Filipino)! Overall, a delicious experience! We would eat here again!
