Seems like this is a hit or miss service. The reviews scared me a bit though. Maybe I hit the jackpot? Booking was easy. My scheduled pickup was set for 6:15 am. They gave me a auto wake up call at around 5:00 am (75 min before scheduled pickup). The driver from Prime Time Shuttle pulled up on the driveway around 6:05 am. I asked for 5 extra min and he was cool with that. There were only three other passengers. I was the last pickup. The van was clean and it seems kinda new. I was expecting a smokey and stinky smell, but I am glad I was wrong. The driver was nice and professional. He helped load/unload my bags. He has a wireless headset on. He only talked once on his headset when his office called him. He does not seem like a erratic driver. He was going with the flow of traffics. Got to LAX around 6:50 am. He dropped off each of the passengers at their terminal. I am kinda early for my 9:30 am flight, but it's better than being late. Overall, it was a good experience. Spent $25 ($20 for reservation and $5 tips). I would try Shuttle2Lax (Prime Time Shuttle) again if my family is not able to drive me. read more

It's not a new company that differentiates itself from the other So Cal shuttle services like the Web site boasts. They contract out to Prime Time Shuttle. I've had good and bad experiences with both Prime Time and Super Shuttle. But I've never paid only $20 by booking directly with either. The lowest I've paid before was $26 with the use of a coupon code ($29 without a discount). So yes, $20 is a great deal to get to LAX. And let's face it, there aren't any other options for this price. If you are more worried about saving money than you are about spending extra time in a van or getting potentially crappy service, then go for it. If you want direct, fast service that will ensure your driver will be top notch, then this isn't your place. read more

Horrific service. Our flight was delayed 20 minutes so our 2:40 shuttle time was shifted to 3. Got on the shuttle at 3. This is with PrimeTime Shuttle (a company they do business with often as I got them twice. They have a 1.5 star rating in yelp) and I left a review of my previous experience with them there. The driver complained about not wanting to take us all the way to our destination because it was the end of his shift. No joke he loaded us in and as he was circling the terminals called dispatch and said out loud that it was too far and he didn't want to it. So he dropped us off at another terminal. We waited additional 30 minutes for someone to get us. We did not leave the airport until almost 4pm. When I contacted this company via chat (since they don't have a phone number) I waited 10 minutes in between responses. They simply said we must have had a bad driver and that he will forward it along to his supervisor. Avoid this company like the plague. Avoid prime time shuttle like the plague. Take a taxi. Take another company. Don't be attracted by the price it surely isn't worth it. read more

I was a bit concerned after reading all the reviews but my experience was great for the price I paid. The driver was late about 15 min on my way to the airport, but I padded the time for LA traffic and rush hour and it was fine. Plus the driver called me and let me know he would be about 15 late. On the way back, my flight arrived early and I was able to get on a shuttle early and be home at the time I was originally scheduled for pick up from the airport!! It was easy to book, timing was great and drivers very friendly! read more

Most horrible shuttle service ever. Scheduled TWICE this service and BOTH times at the LAST minute they cancelled on me saying they could not "find a driver". DO NOT USE this service. We had to scramble both times to find Uber to take us to the airport and home. read more

UNRELIABLE COMPANY!!! DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY! Upon arriving to LAX after a five hour flight home, this company cancelled on me! Never offered another company to give me a ride home. Just said that i was on my own! I thought i was imagining this! I was so upset! They did indicate that they would reimburse me for a full refund! I wanted a ride home! Not to be stranded at LAX on a friday night and it was cold and raining! I was waiting for 3 hrs! I will never ever use this company ever again!! No apology only indicated that i would receive a full refund! This is no way to deal with clients! I finally had to call a family member to pick us up! read more

3/21 booked shuttle pick for 3/29 to LAX. Perfect, 2 days before received email reconfirming my booking, the day before email received instructed what time the driver was going to be at our home, which was 15 minutes earlier then scheduled. No problem. That evening I received information as to who the driver was, Name, Cell Number and what type of vehicle. 3/29 driver arrived on schedule and all went smoothly. Arrived at LAX with my children on time with no problems. Driver was very nice. Easy transaction. Thank you for getting us there on time and making us feel safe. read more

My first time using this service, however it won't be my last. Great service, on time and friendly. I highly recommend this company. I told my boss and he wants our company to start using Shuttle2LAX. My driver Ziporah P. she's was the best. Thank you read more

Booked these jokers for my sister-in-law to get to an international flight in LAX, will be reporting to the BBB that this is a scam agency. They did not show up after an hour and she had to take an Uber. They then had the audacity to say no refund. These guys are scammers, DO NOT TAKE THIS SERVICE. For those of you who have been screwed by these jokers, make a report at the BBB, if enough people report it, they will take them to court, I have another case with the BBB against another fake service and they do build up cases and take companies to court. read more

NEVER AGAIN!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They will steal your money and not pick you up unless you are relentless in finding someone to help you. Even then, they lie to you about who is going to pick you up and when. They left me stranded at LAX for over 1 1/2 hours. I booked my trip almost a month before my trip. I got a confirmation that they received payment from me. I got a confirmation on the morning of my arrival at LAX of my pick, but it contained no information about who was picking me up. That's it. No assigned driver or vehicle. I paid for a PRIVATE SUV. When I got to the airport, no one was there. I opened their confirmation email and found that I could Live Chat with someone. I opened the chat, sent a message to Gail that no driver was there to pick me up. That was around 4 pm. After waiting for Gail to message me back, I emailed customer service that there was no driver to pick me up. I went back on Live Chat to find that Gail has messaged me back (I thought Live Chat would actually let me chat with a live person, not someone that checked messages every once in a while.) and asked for my confirmation number. I sent my confirmation number, but Gail was again no where to be found. I then called a number on the confirmation email, I was put into a robo voicemail that said my call would be answered in the order it was received...NOT. After about 5 minutes, it hung up on me. I went through this for over 45 minutes. Finally I got someone on the phone that asked, "Didn't the driver text me?" I assured him no one had text me. He said, "The driver was supposed to text me with pick up instructions." Then he sent me outside to Prime Shuttle pick up spot, and tell the girl I needed to be picked up. They sent a red shuttle van. I paid good money for a private SUV. She sent them away, and called for an SUV. She said they would be there in 15 minutes. After 25 minutes, I asked where the driver was. She used her radio to speak with someone that told her they could not find the driver. From the time I picked up my luggage, until the time someone actually showed up to pick me up, it was over 1 1/2 hours from when they were supposed to pick my up. Had I not contacted them, they would have kept my money and probably laughed at how they were trying to give me nothing for my almost $100 I paid. NEVER NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!! read more

Seriously the WORST shuttle service ever. How they're still in business is beyond me. I arrived at 6:30pm waiting for the driver to pick me up and I ended up waiting nearly 3 hrs. I called customer service many times asking for them to just cancel my reservation and refund me, but each time the women said she couldn't and that the driver was "on his way." But not only was the wait time horrible, the driver kept looking around for other people to pick up until our until van was filled. I did not arrive at my home until 4 hours after I first arrived at LAX. Please if you value your time and sanity DO NOT USE THIS SHUTTLE SERVICE read more

Screw this F'n place! Arrived at LAX and was told to wait for my driver outside. 15 minutes later they call me to go up stairs to the departure curb to wait... No one comes and I give them a call after 20 more minutes. They then tell me the driver assigned to pick me up isn't answering their phone and they can't find any other driver near us to pick us up so they'll give me a refund and I'll have to find my own means of travel back home. You seriously operate an airport transportation service and you don't have enough drivers for pick ups, your in the wrong business. No wonder your rating is as horrible as it is. read more

I made the same mistake of not checking Yelp reviews before booking a reservation with them. The driver first called us saying he can't make it 10 minutes before his scheduled arrival time. After some back and forth, he called us to let us know he would be 30 minutes late. Very unprofessional? My airfare cost over $1,000. I scheduled my trip a week ago. And you are telling me 10 minutes before picking me up that you wouldn't be coming?? Thanks a lot. read more

we made reservations for a round trip to and from LAX. the trip to LAX went well, but the scheduled trip to go home from LAX was terrible. after waiting for half a hour on the schedule, I decided to call customer service, was on hold for about 10 minutes and after a person finally answered, she told me that a driver was going to call me when he is there. that did not happen, so after an hour of wait, I called again, the girl put me on hold to check and after that, she told me they are cancelling my reservation because the driver assigned to me had a mechanical problem. We make this reservations ahead of time so we don't have to have worry about things like this. I would never use this company again. read more

DO NOT USE THEM!!! If I could give them zero stars, I would! Made a reservation with them 3 months prior to our trip for a ride to the airport early on Christmas morning. Horrible. We scheduled months in advance for a pick-up from LAX to Downey (apx 10 miles) at 9:30pm. Plane arrived on time, were told we would get a call but didn't. We called at 10pm, were told our ride would be at 10:30 but we stood out on the white curb until 11pm, when someone finally showed up. We got home at 11:30pm, exhausted and had to get up at 6am next day. Shuttle2LAX doesn't actually arrange a driver until after you call, and there's no guarantee one will be available! The last thing our driver said after he dropped us off is that we were lucky he was available or we would be still waiting! Am giving 2 stars because the early morning pick-up at the beginning of our trip went great. But was that just luck? Higher priced than many other shuttles, don't waste you time and money on these guys. read more

Booked a shuttle around 7pm the night before for a 530am pick up (for a 10am flight...go figure even though I'm about 45 minutes from the airport). Got a text at 2am - which of course I didn't see - saying they had to change the shuttle time pick up to 5am. When my alarm went off at 5am, that was when I saw that notice. Had to throw on my clothes and literally chase the shuttle down the street at 5:10am. The drive then chastised me for being late, and boasted how incredibly nice he was to wait for me. Seriously? He also was pushing me for a tip when dropping me off, which given the circumstances, I definitely did not give. read more

Two HUGE thumbs up for Shuttle2Lax. Although, I am still confused as to why this is actually Prime Time. I traveled to Dallas on 6-10-12 and returned to LAX on 6-19. Both ways were a great ride and on time. I chose the $49 rate for only one other stop as I did not want to stop multiple times. Pick up was RIGHT on time morning of the 10th. They also called me before arrival to let me know they were on the way. I needed a few minutes to gather up everything. The driver was VERY helpful, courteous and patient. We only had one other person to pick up. He was a buzz kill. But, that left me more time to chat with the wonderful driver. She is a retired cop. Kudos to her! Return trip was great as well. The Prime Time pick up area was just outside of the Virgin America baggage area. They also are right outside the terminal on the curb and not next to the main street. Very pleasant personnel helping people on board for the ride home. Only sad moment. On the return trip to Altadena, the driver tried to just dump my baggage at the curb. I had to ask HIM to put the luggage on my front step. He did not complain. But, hopefully he will be more courteous in the future. Or at least ask if the rider needs help. I'm rather elderly. You would think he would have noticed. This is a great service at a great price. Wish everyone could have as wonderful an experience as I had. THANKS SHUTTLE2LAX - YOU ROCK read more

Notes about Shuttle2LAX's luggage fees: -- Their carry-on size limit is smaller than that of the airlines. My legally sized carry-on is larger than Shuttle2LAX limits, so it counts as a bag and not at carry-on. Since I have two other bags already, this incurs a $10 fee. -- For Shuttle2LAX (unlike the airlines), bookbags do not count as a personal item, they are considered a carry-on. So if you already have a carry-on and bags, you may get a fee for your bookbag. Check the terms and conditions and chat with a service representative if you've got questions about whether or not you might have to pay extra. I fly with a laptop bookbag, carry-on, and two pieces of luggage, so this company is $30+tip for someone like me with a lot of luggage. Wish it was just $20. read more

Used Shuttle2Lax service on May 18, 2013 for me and my wife. Service was great, fast and easy! Prime Time Shuttle called twice to confirm time and pick up. Driver showed up when promised with a great attitude, with a very clean and nice van. Used for return trip from Beverly Garland Holiday Inn to LAX. Would use again and again for a great worry free trip to LAX that only cost me $33 plus tip. The trip took about 30mins from the hotel to LAX around noon traffic. Only wished we used the service for the trip from the airport to the Beverly Garland Holiday Inn. My wife prepaid for Super Shuttel for the trip, which was $50 for 2 people from the airport to the hotel, and then another $50 for 2 people from the hotel to the airport. When we landed we went to the Super Shuttle the driver argued we had to pay another $22 because the travel agent didn't put the hotel name on the voucher. The Super Shuttle driver was rude, and kept changing his fair. So he felt the that I should pay about $144 for around trip for 2 people from the airport to the hotel and then back from the hotel to the airport. The person on the curb was no help either because her rates in her book didn't match the drivers either, so she went along with the drivers rate. Was not interested in spending more money on the company and my wife filed for a refund. So I would Shuttle2Lax with Prime Time Shuttle anytime vs using Super Shuttle. read more

I received a phone call the night before (11 pm) my flight (7 am) from their firm that said they cant pick me up at the time I reserved and they can do earlier time. I said I am not sure If I am ok with that as even that other time that I reserved was really earlier than the time I needed to be at the airport! The guy told me he can call me in 10 min, but he NEVER DID! I emailed customer service regarding my reservation as I thought it has been cancelled. I didn't receive any feedback till super early (ALMOST 2 HOUR EARLIER THAN THE TIME I RESERVED ONLINE) in the morning that they called me saying that the car is waiting for me outside. I was shocked and I tried to explain to the driver as I again couldn't call the number I received the phone call from last night. After texting and emailing them many time, they finally respond with a simple apologize. I cant believe they dont understand I cant change my plan last minute and not only they never even offer refunding my money but I had to pay uber to get to airport. I never had such a POOR SERVICE and EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! Others need to know about their terrible service and their lack of understanding and that there is no guarantee that you get the same service you paid for and you can receive a call super late with the last notice that you don't even have an option to choose or deny!!! & most importantly you cant even get your money back!!! It's not really pleasant to play with the customers like that and is beyond ridiculous!!! read more

I have used the Shuttle2LAX a few times since they started. I also used their primary shuttle company before that. In fact, right now I am about to reserve a seat for this week. Some things I noticed. 1) They don't pick people up in one area only and drive to LAX. They pick up first from outer areas and then pick up people closer to LAX. So if you live far away (ie Glendale) you might get a long tour of LA before you get to LAX. On my last trip, the other people on my van started in the Burbank area. I live in West LA about 30 minutes from LAX. One of the passengers had to use the restroom and I let her use mine. She was on the van for over an hour and thankfully I was the last stop. So keep that in mind. If you are the first person on the van and you live in the valley, it will be long trip. 2) they change the pick up times. I try to time my pickup but if they call/ text to tell me they are picking be up early, it causes either stress or means I wait longer at the airport. I know they are trying to fill up the van but I wish there was an option of an earlier or later pickup. 3)they use gps so sometime they make mistakes that locals won't make. Many times I watch and scratch my head as to why they going a certain way. However, the price is good and I use them for my trips to LAX. read more

This is the old "Prime Time" shuttle. Don't be fooled by the rebranding. Horrible service. Called them when my flight landed and told me to check-in at curbside. No one was manning the curbside area. Called again and said the shuttle will pick me up in 30 to 40 minutes. Waiting 30 minutes did NOT SEE ONE Prime Time Shuttle. Called again and said the shuttle is coming. Waited 20 more minutes (50 minutes total) still did not see one shuttle. Called the 3rd time and they told me they're having issues, will not be picking me up and I need to arrange transportation on my own. Took a taxi but refused to reimburse for the cost of the taxi. WARNING.... DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! This is Prime Time Shuttle... don't be fooled by the Shuttle2LAX. They left me stranded at LAX!! I prepaid for my pick up from LAX to home with a generous tip included and it was scheduled for 7:45pm but they failed to even dispatch a driver. After 6 phone calls (not to mention being put on hold 10-20 minutes at a time) and almost 3 hours after my scheduled pick up time they offered me a refund and said "Sorry, you can continue to wait and we'll try to dispatch a driver in 10-15 minutes or we can just issue you a refund!"..... I said I would wait because I wanted to see how long it would actually take them to dispatch a driver. Needless to say, I ended up taking a Taxi home and NEVER received a text from Prime Time that they dispatched a driver after 4+ hours!! Absolutely TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

It was hard getting a hold of them.but our driver was on time very nice and knollagable. Thank you for getting us to the airport on time.

DO NOT USE SHUTTLE TO LAX! Absolutely horrible. Our flight was delayed by an hour and a half, & once we finally landed & got service we attempted to contact Shuttle To LAX to no avail. The number listed on the website is automated & basically tells you to go to the website for any questions --- if I were at home & near a computer, this wouldn't be a problem --- however, we are at LAX at 2am, sleep deprived from a long flight, not to mention jet lagged, without a ride. We checked every single terminal, with all of our luggage trying to find our ride, trying to contact the company ---- nothing. Sure, we sent an email, but what good does that do us at 2am with all of our luggage?? We ended up having to pay for ANOTHER shuttle service & we are going to have to get a refund for this one. Shuttle to LAX is the worst. Completely unreliable, & lacking in every aspect of customer service. read more

Please don't use Shuttle2LAX! I booked a ride to LAX but I saw their bad reviews on Yelp. I talked to the customer service multiple times and they always say they will follow up refund but I never received it. Worst service ever! read more

Never book these lying crooks!!!!! Pick up was scheduled for 810am. Stood on the curb for 40 mins. Called them 815am... 830am.. 844am.. 9:00.. 9:15am. Each time they said the driver is 20 mins away. After the 844am we go back into the house, since they said the driver will call when he's outside. On the 9:15am call they said the driver left us since he waited 15 mins outside. Which is complete bullSh*t because our neighbors washing their cars outside said no one came. We receive NO CALL... No one on the 915am call even knew where the driver was... and they lied about even showing up. They deserve Negative 10 stars and I'll make sure the Better Business Bureau gets a call about them. The Customer service person on the phone was completely useless. She kept hanging up on me when I demanded and explanation. Don't even bother with these guys. read more

Shuttle was cancelled even when I had a reservation and the refund taking more than 10 days due to more difficulties...

I wish I could leave this zero stars. My reservation was fully paid for and I was given several reminders of my reservation to get picked up from lax. Right before my reservation time, I received a text with a link that was supposed to allow me to track my driver. Mind you, there was ZERO option to communicate with the driver and the only way to communicate with the service was via a lousy chat box. After checking in on the app and realizing that I couldn't track my driver at all with the link I was sent, I started to get worried so I tried to call the company. The have an automated voice message that says they DONT have a call center so you can't even talk to anyone...seriously, who does this?! After multiple attempts to locate my driver via the awful "chat" box service, I was told twenty minutes after my expected pick up time that my reservation was canceled for absolutely no reason, leaving me to scramble and pay astronomical prices for an Uber. What a joke. Honestly one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I've ever had. Don't even bother with them. read more

This is the worst company ever. No phone number to talk to someone, only numbers to text and they never respond. I had a flight at LAX at 7:30pm and set my time to be picked up at 4pm. They texted me saying they changed my pick up time to 3:45pm and never gave me the driver's phone number (just a blank spot for it). I waited until 1 hour after my original pick up time, after multiple messages and calls, etc. until I had to pay for an uber because I couldn't miss my flight. Terrible experience, I would highly advise for people to use another shuttle company or uber. read more

Sometimes they are good and sometimes not. I have scheduled them a number of times. Everything from LAX to my home seems to take forever. Even with a paid reservation and a call it can easily take 30-60 minutes before the driver shows up. Why do I have to call when there should be someone sitting at the Prime Shuttle stop? Because there is no one there except maybe another passenger waiting for a different van. Once I had them scheduled to take me to LAX from my home. The pickup time was 6am. At 1:30am, I received a call saying my reservation had been canceled and my money returned. They didn't have a driver so I was left to figure out how to get to LAX at 6am. Unbelievable! That is no way to run a successful business. Thank goodness we have other options (Uber, Lyft). Maybe someday soon it will be a driverless car? read more

I can't find words strong enough to describe what I'm feeling. Just don't use them. They are a disaster. They are the literal worst. The stress I got took minutes off of my life. EVERY SINGLE TIME I HAVE TO USE THIS DEMONIC SERVICE they get the pickup time UTTERLY wrong and don't call to confirm. We set the pickup time to 10:50AM for my 2:20PM flight, and they never show up. Without a call they never came! So we called, and they said that the shuttle was supposed to come at 4:50AM!!! Other than the obvious fact that we never in our right minds ordered that time, they never actually showed up or confirmed anything and when we called them to find out why in the world they would "come at 4:50AM" they yelled at us and said it was our fault!!!! Truly the worst airport experience I've ever had. I've been waiting for my shuttle for three hours that I pre booked and pre paid for. Talk about very sketchy. I have to leave at 3am to get to LAX. My dad had no problems with the services. He got pictures of the car and driver and everything before the shuttle picked him up. I messaged a lady on the website and she said that the shuttle will pick me up at three and that the driver will call me.
