Absolutely awful, stay away. Booked 7 passenger van, they canceled the return pickup 1 hr before because they overbooked, meaning I landed after a long flight with 7 people to find that our ride home wasn't coming, for the simple reason that the service isn't managed well. The ride to the airport the week before the driver was 20 minutes late, and only started moving on the tracking app after I called him--I suspect I woke him up. I genuinely don't know how they are still in business. Their one job--getting people to and from on time--they failed in 2 different ways. They don't have a person to talk to, just a chat service which was unhelpful. Never again. read more

The firs time I took it to LAX it was amazing, quick and convenient However the second time booking (following day mind you) not only was it difficult to book online and even using chat they referred me to book on their 888 number. OK, but then there isn't really anyone there (hence why they are cheaper) and told me to go back online - HA. Attempted again with my husbands data because I still couldn't login or get my phone number to verify (just a day after the first trip so .... no idea), and booked a trip 6 hours in advance. Had to go back to cancel 1/2 hour later and - yup, the cancellation fee was the same as the entire trip fee!!! No way other than to get a credit. I have used shuttle2LAX for transportation to the airport as well as Long Beach Cruise port many times. I have always had a great experience with shuttle2LAX. I get notification the day before and on the day of, I get notification who the driver is and how I can contact. This comes in handy as sometimes I'm available to be picked up at the port earlier than the original requested time. They have been able to get there earlier so I do not have a long wait. Very happy with Shuttle2LAX! They are my "go to" when I require the transportation. I have never had a bad experience with their drivers. read more

They cancelled my trip last minute, twice on separate occasions. The first one happened on July 2, 2021. Initially, I got notified that a driver has been assigned for my trip. A few minutes past pick up time and no driver was onsite. Called the driver to follow up and he said he had an emergency and needed to cancel and that he had advised the office about it. When I called them they casually told me they couldn't find another driver so I should just look for an alternative ride. My husband and I almost didn't make it to our flight. The other one happened on May 20, 2022. I booked for an express plus service. Their website clearly shows the type of vehicle on this service as a van (see attached photo). We had 4 baggage (3 boxes and 1 luggage) which is the reason I chose this service. On the morning of May 20 (pick-up date) I reached out to them to check on the driver and vehicle details and make sure that I do not get cancelled this time, only to find out that they actually assigned a mini SUV instead of a van, as originally stated on their listing. When I protested, they said that the express plus service doesn't come with a van but with a mini SUV. They said they will try to find a replacement and will notify me ASAP. More than an hour later, I called again to follow up and they told me they couldn't find a replacement and that I should start looking for an alternative ride. AVOID this company at all costs if you do not want to miss your flights!!! They're extremely unreliable, inconsiderate with the most horrible customer service. NEVER AGAIN!!! read more

I was very very nervous about this company based on the reviews on here. I had already booked the reservation months in advance. I do not know why I did not read the reviews when I was booking. Anyways, 2 days before my flight I looked on Yelp and saw how flaky the company was.. and I could not afford to miss my flight from LAX. I had scheduled a 4am pick up for May 21. Truthfully, I canceled the reservation from this company to pick me up to get me to LAX. However, I kept the reservation for the company to take me home from LaX on June 23 at 8:30pm. I wanted to give them a shot when I was not press for time. My flight in Vancouver got delayed by 30 minutes. I contacted the Customer service on the website via their messenger. The person assured me that they are keeping track of my Flight number. They extended my arrival time by 10 minutes. However, my flight arrived at LAX by 7:45. I quickly contacted customer service that I actually arrived earlier than expected. They called me and then booked an Uber for me since the original driver was not going to be at the meeting point until 8:40pm. The company did not want me to wait for 30 minutes. When the shuttle arrived at the meeting point the uber driver was waiting for us. We hopped in and he drove us home! In conclusion, this company is actually good. I hope they continue getting better so their ratings can increase. It's is very hard to gage when you arrive back to LAX to get driven home. As a company, it's hard on them because they are not the one controlling the flights. That's is why I was in communication with them immediately, the moment I found out my flight was delayed, and i let them know when I arrived earlier than the expected ETA. I am glad a real person helped me via their app. When they found out i was at LaX earlier, they personally called me and told me they were finding out where the driver was. Then, they booked me an Uber because the original driver was 28 minutes away. (Not their fault. It was our agreed time). I was grateful to not have to wait for the original time frame because my family and I were tired. read more

I originally chose this company because their rates were more reasonable than the larger, more established ride services. Now they are my go-to for rides to LAX. They are absolutely reliable. The pickups are always prompt. Actually, they generally arrive about 20-30 minutes before the established pickup time. (This used to bother me a bit, but now I appreciate it and just make sure I'm ready to go about 20 minutes before the deadline.) The drivers have been uniformly pleasant, helpful and accommodating, even when I have been disorganized and even once when I was running late. The App is easy to use, and they are great at providing detailed and accurate schedules and itineraries. Highly recommend! read more

You would think after 10 years of being a yelper I would have checked the reviews first, I made the horrible rookie mistake. In my defense I had just been stressed out of my mind for over a year planning our wedding renewals and we had spent so much $$$ by this time I was honestly looking for the cheapest. I booked both ways online and it was $36 plus $10 tip, Shared ride, so here we are waiting for the 6:20pm arrival since we have a 9:20 flight going out of LAX to Florida to catch our Cruise. December 7, 2018 It was now 8pm and he had still not shown up, I had kept calling and calling and same crap, I'll be there in 20 minutes, by now I was looking at Lyft options that would get us to the airport by 9pm. He finally showed up at 8:00pm and drove at least 90 mph and we arrived by 8:40pm December 15, 2018 Arrive at JetBlue at 1:20pm . .. turned off phone airplane mode, driver welcomes us and says he will pick us up at 5:30pm. Buckle up! No joke on how horrible this scam is. We all wish we would have read the reviews before hand. I was told in advance (on the phone) that when I arrived at LAX, just call them when "I was ready" to be picked up, they confirmed that message by by email. NOPE! Instead, they scheduled a specific time window for me to be at the "21 zone" off site LAX pickup location. Arrival, Un-boarding, luggage pickup, customs and transportation to the offsite location.... well, I missed my window by "literally" 5 minutes. I was actually there on time but my SIM card was stuck in my phone, couldn't switch it quick enough and the driver (who was parked right next to me) said it wasn't his responsibility to look for passengers. And my ride was "gone"... even though it was him. He stayed parked for over 15 minutes before leaving my wife a myself abandoned. Shuttle2LAX (if you didn't know is just rebranded Prime Time). Which has in the past actually left me at the airport overnight. Even though they kept saying the next shuttle would take me home. Oh and if you really want to try this company, be prepared to pay$$$ After this incident they charged me some healthy $$. They are basically scheduling substandard Uber/Lift Drivers and having you pay an extra cost. Oh... I should also say thank to the owner Paul S. for sending another driver an hour later at "my expense" (well, obviously not him-his "company"), while as my wife pleaded with your customer service person about our situation and I was begging your driver to just drive us home. I'm not sure why there are so many bad reviews! We had such a smooth and easy pickup at LAX last Saturday from our international flight. We booked online the day before, and when we picked up our luggage, we called our driver (Markus) to tell him which pickup spot we were at. We could track his location, car details, and estimated minutes until his arrival. Even with the crazy traffic and swarm of people, we knew exactly when to look out for him. There were 6 of us and we got picked up in a nice Lincoln Navigator. Markus was able to fit all our 10 luggages in the car and made sure we were all comfortable! The car was nice & clean, and he was very pleasant in making conversation. The drive home was smooth. Absolutely no complaints! Very smooth experience and definitely would recommend! read more
