Not impressed with this restaurant. Very average food and confusing branding. It's a seafood restaurant with a Spanish bar on the patio and banos. Went into this place thinking it was an actual dine in restaurant where we would have a waitress, but it's actually like a crappy fast food fish place. I would compare it to long john silver, but with not as good food, but a better atmosphere. The fish was extremely slimy and the fried shrimp definitely wasn't fresh. 2 stars just for the fact they had shiner bock and the inside actually looked pretty nice. read more

I guess I'm spoiled coming from Florida but dang. We're not freaked out over COVID, but there was not mask #1 on any of the staff. My "mahi" tacos were clearly from a frozen bag. My wife's "kobe" burger was a patty out of a box. My daughter's grilled cheese was a slightly melted piece of cheese on a hamburger bun. This is kind of a tough one... so for Seafood in Oklahoma, in a high tourist area, it is decent seafood. The atmosphere was great. Definitely had a "Gulf" feel. I feel a little guilty giving it a three star review, because the food was okay and we would definitely eat it again. I think I just set myself up to be disappointed. read more

We came to the area to have a cabin experience and decided to stop to eat. Upon arriving we really liked the atmosphere. So we decided decided to give it a try. The first thing the attendant said is sorry it's cash only our credit card machines are down. This was okay since we had some cash on us. We preceded to order two shrimp Po boys. The the order came out quick. We were impressed with the quick service (even though we were the only ones there). We got the po boys and it appeared to be one jumbo shimp cut up for each Po boy. My husband and I came down to the area to fly fish for my birthday. We both love seafood and considering this is the only other option other than pizza in the area we gave it a try. Well we ended up eating there two nights in a row. We got the crab boil twice, both times very hot and fresh and good. We got the fresh oysters once and the fried oysters with a side of fried okra. All fresh tasting and hot and very good. We got the Shrimp cerviche too and it was some of the best I've ever had. Ordering at the front threw us off at first but didn't bother us once we figured out what was going on. We ate both times out on the heated patio and it was 30 degrees out. So amazing! Trust me, I've been to seafood places in Florida a million and one times, and shuck me is definitely in the running! The snow crab was amazing, the raw oysters were large and had good flavor, and the blackened salmon was cooked perfectly. Had no idea I would love a seafood place in Oklahoma but this is the bomb. So, I grew up on the gulf and was a bit hesitant to try seafood in Oklahoma if you know what I mean.... There is a lot of menu items to pick from. We ordered fried oysters, shrimp and catfish. The oysters were nice sized, seasoned on point and cooked perfectly. The shrimp were large, tasty and cooked on point. The catfish filets were cut thin, just the way I like them, seasoned perfectly and really tasty. I have to say, I was really impressed. We will be back to try some of the other menu items. read more

The service is terrible. Twice we had to send back a side dish because it was cold when it should not have been cold. The final time we approached the staff with the improperly prepared dish, the staff too became cold. As to the food, I was not impressed. The fish was seasoned poorly and everyone else at my table agreed their food was just bad. Truthfully, I have had better seafood at a Long John Silvers. The only dish I took pleasure in eating were the hush puppies--to which most can agree it is incredibly hard to screw up hush puppies. I would not recommend this place. In fact, I'd recommend fishing a trout out of the local creek as an alternative meal. It's a shuckin' waste of time and a shuckin' waste of money. read more

This is our first time to this area. We were blown away by the amazing food we got at this joint. We tried an order of fried pickles, onion rings and fried okra. That was shared among 4 people and was definitely enough. My kiddos got the chicken strips and loved that. As for the three adults we tried the catfish and fried shrimp witch was awesome. We are from Corpus Christi and this topped some of our local locations. Now there was one thing we thought was a bit flawed and that was the fries, they seemed to be lacking flavor and was the only thing not finished. We will definitely be eating here again! read more

Went in today (5/20/18) for lunch with a group of 8. The food was great! I had the jambalaya and my wife had the grilled salmon tacos. Several at the table had the boiled shrimp. The place was clean and the service was average ! The improvement suggestions is for the staff to bring my food to my table instead of me picking my own food from kitchen area when it is ready. We ate lunch here and felt very safe out on the patio. We brought our dog with us, and the staff brought her water even though we didn't ask for it. They checked on us a few times. The food was awesome! I had the shrimp poboy with fried okra, and my husband had fried shrimp and catfish with fried zucchini. The shrimp were really great! The catfish was good as well. I had the 6 jumbo fried shrimp and my wife had the snow crab legs and had no issues here. I ordered the shrimp and crab gumbo for an appetizer and wow was it SALTY and THICK, to the point I couldn't eat it. I would definitely not recommend that soup. Other than that, the food was good with reasonable prices for seafood. Good atmosphere and clean establishment. I'd much rather rank this place as 3.5 star but I just couldn't give it a 4.
