Waitress never came back after she dropped off the ticket, had to ask another wait staff for a drink refill. Took 50 minutes to get food. Wait staff needs to smile, be more attentive, and not complain about the guests when that is who pays your salary. Has the opportunity to be one of the best full service restaurants in town. Good variety, one thought, add a grilled chicken breast to the senior menu.

And they wanted to go to celebrate my FIL bday. So they said let's eat in this Italian restaurant. Being from big city Fw where we have everything, I am very very pleasantly impressed! The waitress was on a stool smacking her gum and took our order, then turned the bill pad around for me to pay. It had tip options, and I gave a tip. After I paid, I realized I was charged a fee for using a credit card. There were not many people in the restaurant yet, and someone did bring our food to us. However, we had to get up to refill our drinks across the restaurant. After we got home, I got an email from my cardholder that the amount I was charged was increased, but with no explanation. Our meal was$49.99 and we had two teas. I was billed $74.91. I cannot find the receipt, but my tip was not a lot. We returned a couple of days later for dinner. My sister paid this time. We had another family member with us and ordered A LOT of food. It took a while for the food to be prepared and we had to go up a couple of times to get the food because it wasn't ready at once. Again, we had to get up a few times to refill drinks. We will return, but I will be paying cash. No tip and no charge for using a credit card and being charged for something else days later.

For the main, we shared the fried catfish. It was just okay. The strips were pretty thin and didn't have much to them. Not bad, but nothing that stands out or makes you want to come back for it. We sat outside, which was nice, and the whole visit was quick. In and out without any issues. Overall, decent spot for a casual bite, but based on what we had, it's more of a one-time stop than a must-visit.

The food is overpriced considering the meh quality, but clearly the owner knows tourist options are fairly limited due to the relative remoteness of the location in the area. If you are looking for a "fancy" restaurant in Broken Bow, this is probably the closest to one we saw during our weekend stay, but it falls far short when even compared to basic restaurants in the relatively close by big city of the DFW Metroplex just a few hours to the South West of the area. Stick with camping food. Whatever you bring to town to cook in your cabin / Air B&B will probably be better than what they have here.
