Food was okay- fish tacos good. Ordered queso and guacamole- the queso is basically Tostitos from a jar- terrible. The guacamole was good, homemade, but too heavy on the lime juice. What bothered me most was buying chips & queso & chips & guacamole- and they were so cheap- they put the chips in a styro to go- other places are so generous and at least put them in a bag. I got about 15 chips & guac for 9- and the same for queso. Upsetting that when you get food to go- you don't get near what you paid for. I also ordered red beans & rice- and only got beans. The beignets were absolutely terrible- I thing like NOLA. All that being said- I will definitely eat here again, they just need to make some changes. And maybe throw some pasta on the menu. Had a shrimp Po Boy. Came with 4 tiny shrimp on it. Ended up putting them all on a half of the bun and ended up with half a Po Boy.

Got some clam chowder and it was very good. Got a skewer of grilled shrimp had rice and beans on the side. All in all the food was good. Staff was friendly too. My only complaint is for the price I didn't feel like I received enough food. So it's either over priced or under fooded. read more

Skip this place unless you like frozen food dropped in a fryer...food is mediocre at best. My husband spit out the oysters, and he eats anything. There are so many better places to choose from in the area that have excellent, handmade food. Way over priced--We got shucked! read more

We stated with Fried pickles and they were great. We had catfish and shrimp combo basket and it was great also. The staff was great and food came out quickly. We did not get the oysters but several people around us did and they said they were great. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food. read more

My family and I enjoyed a lunch here last week. It was on the expensive side of things, but I think it was worth the price overall. The wait time when we were there was minimal, and the staff was friendly. Lots of atmosphere, good drinks and flavorful food. I enjoyed the selections and the appropriate kids menu, since I have 4 little ones who are picky when it comes to food. I would recommend this stop if you are willing to spend quite a bit for seafood. read more

Outstanding oysters, fresh and clean, better than some I've had on the Gulf. Wife enjoyed her catfish and fried shrimp too. We went back again two days later for the boiled shrimp, also very fresh. They serve fried and grilled fish--catfish, salmon, trout, tilapia, red snapper, grouper--oysters, chicken, calamari, po-boys, salads, fish tacos, jambalaya, and a variety of grilled and fried sides. So if you are on a restricted diet you should be able to eat something. They also have beer--bottles and on draught, frozen margaritas and sangria. We got fried cat baskets. Filets are 8-10" long, thin and crispy. Fries were a tad underdone. Maybe ask for them crispy. The red skin potatoes were good with garlic, dill and butter. Beer hush puppies were not spicy but just a good basic puppy done all the way through and right moisture. Seating offers tables, pub height tables and a few large booths. Nice outdoor seating as well can easily accommodate large parties. Fresh tea and Coke products. Nice atmosphere. Dinner for two with no alcohol was $27 with no alcohol. You retrieve your order so no tip unless you tip the jar by the cashier. Will definitely return. read more

This place was a late lunch for me and I was surprised at how fresh and good it was. They have plenty of fried and grilled options. It was well decorated and the service was timely. The only reason for 4 and not 5 stars was because it wasn't seasoned at all and they had 10 employees doing nothing so I felt watched but I'm sure they are busy at night and weekends. Had dinner there last night and service was the worst. Ordered grouper with summer squash and green beans. When our group was called there was only a partial order ready. Appetizer and cold summer squash came out. Rest of order not ready. Oysters were great but the rest of it was not- fish came with the regular sides (which we did not want) and the green beans never did find there way to our table. Very disappointing . Needless to say we will not be back to that place!! read more

My husband and I went to Shuck Me last week while on vacation. The service was great. We we're greeted as soon as we entered and everyone had a smile on their face. I had the lobster chowder and I cannot rave enough about how delishous it was!!! He had the sampler platter and we had mixed opinions. The fried oysters were fantastic, but the fried shrimp and fish were just okay (could use a bit more seasoning). The fries and hush puppies were also great, and we will definitely be back to try more menu offerings. read more

ordered a cheeseburger with everything except tomatoes. got a hamburger patty and two buns with nothing on it. got their "shrimp n crab gumbo" and it was farthest thing from gumbo i've ever seen. literally had pieces of sliced up sausage, sliced up onions and chicken broth. no shrimp or crab. it was a nightmare i will never voluntarily eat here again. read more

very disappointed, we have been going here for about a year, but on wednesday june 16th we ordered the snow crabs 2 trays a salad and beers, first of all in time the crabs have gone from 19.99 to 29.99 so you would expect better product but this nite it took 1 hour to get our order and the one tray looked sooooo poor that it wasnt worth 5.00 and the other looked like they had gathered a few dismembered legs from the trash in the bottom of the pot and not even close to a pound. after returning the worst tray it took another 30 minutes and went to the manager to see why it never came was given a tray from another order well she had forgotten to get it, and it still was disappointing , after being there 2 hours to get totally disgusted we got out of there as fast as we could to recover from a 100.00 $ failure. before this comment im making now i emailed them 10 days ago with no response nor trying to fix this . read more
