Cinnamon deconstructed fried ice cream...yummy!
Raj S.

Much in demand restaurant in Tropic. We got there just at 6 and snagged the last table. The jack'd fries were really good, as was my tipsy hiker cocktail. The bacon chicken Alfredo, not so good. The star of the show was the deconstructed cinnamon fried ice cream. It was amazing. The place had a very nice rustic ambiance, and we really enjoyed the live music. It was odd to have to go to an out building to use the restroom, but it was a small price to pay for an excellent dining experience.

The music made the whole ambiance so cozy and inviting. Staff super attentive and kind. They give you popcorn instead of bread which is a unique twist, and it tasted great. The BBQ platter was filling and all good, especially the brisket. Stopped in this town for 1 night and it's awesome!

Live music!

Five stars for sure! Our family of 4 arrived at the perfect time so we had no wait but there were lots of folks waiting for a long time after us because this place is clearly so popular! Our waitress was lovely and offered recommendations, like trying the Jack Sauce! (We even got a bottle to go!) Can't go wrong with anything with that sauce on it. Also, tried a dirty soda & got s'mores to go! yum!! There was also live country music, which was such a nice treat and made for great ambiance. Would definitely go back!

What a lifesaver after hiking in Bryce. Best 1/2 roasted chicken on the planet. Husband got the pork ribeye. Dang guys you got it going on. Beautiful shaded outdoor seating. Wonderful gem in Tropic.

Ok so if you are in Bryce Canyon this is a must go for food, awesome entertainment and some of the best service!!!!. This was our night before we leave to travel back home dinner spot. I am so sad we waited for our last night to visit. We were treat to live entertainment. Some old time country favorites. Not only was the music great, this was on of the only places we been that had live entertainment and the volume was at a level where you could carry on a conversation. Kudos to Showdowns!!!! So for the food, I ordered the 1/2 rack of ribs with a loaded baked potato and stemmed vegi's. The ribs were what you would consider competition style. So one thing that stands out is when you take a bite that's all that comes off. The ribs were perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked. The baked potato was done like it should be done. Properly cooked and loaded. The vegi's were cooked perfectly. Not mush and not raw. They had a great bite to them. The service was very pleasant, and spot on as far as checking on us and refilling our drinks. Only wished we could've stayed later to enjoy the music.

The red pepper soup with pesto grilled cheese on focaccia

We were very pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. We had reviewed all of the yelp/google reviews and saw that it was highly rated. We went with our kids and were able to find a good hearty meal for a great price. The soup with the focaccia pesto, grilled cheese was out of this world. The staff was kind and patient with my wild kiddos which I really appreciated. It has a really cute and homey feel to it. I can see why it would be a local fave

Such a memorable and amazing experience. Half of the restaurants we looked at near Bryce looked either nasty or overpriced. This was absolutely perfect. They have pasta, burgers, sandwiches, and meat. There is live music as well! I am very hard to please, but the service and the food was absolutely phenomenal. 10/10

Loved this place! Love the ambiance; love the food & loved the service. Got seated right away and immediately the hostess delivered a large bowl of popcorn and a pitched of water - the popcorn was a nice surprise! Waiter recommended the burgers do we got a couple of Bryce Canyon Sunrise burgers and a couple of Portabella mushroom burgers. The burgers were KILLER and I'd go back just for the burgers again, but there were several other menu items that looked great. They have nice tables for both inside and outside and the night we were there, they had live music.

Closed for the season. We visited last evening, having read the reviews. The whole Pioneer Village, restaurant and cabins, was deserted.

AN unforgettable experience that made our trip extra enjoyable. From the moment we walked into this…read moreplace , it had a perfect moody atmosphere that just draws you in . Every cocktail was perfectly balanced and beautifully presented. The bartender Misi was exceptional. Not only did they craft outstanding drinks, their personalities showed they truly cared about making your time there a memorable occasion. The eclectic mix of people who frequent, the conversation flowed as easy as the drinks. It was a magical place and we will plan to come again the next time we come to Zion.

The hubs found this place while searching for things to try while we were in Zion. He said I'd love…read moreit because of their cocktails -- and I gotta say, I was impressed. We ended up going twice during our vacation. The first time was Sunday night around 8 PM. It was busy, but Tristin helped us pretty quickly. They also had a Sunday special on Old Fashioneds for $9. My husband said they were delicious and the price was a bonus . I ordered one of their signature cocktails -- the Cactus Fruit Margarita -- and it was the perfect balance of tart and sweet. We went back again on Wednesday night after our Narrows hike as a little treat before heading home Thursday. It was even busier that night, but the power team of Gabriel, Ethan, and Tristin was on deck. Gabriel and Ethan's hustling orders left and right. Tristin was cleaning, preparing and helping the guys out as much as possible when needed. This trip made everyone feel welcomed while serving drinks to perfection. This night I had -The Lasso and Pornstar Martini. These were my favorite ! Husband had the same -House Old Fashioned. We had a great time both visits and definitely recommend this place as a perfect nightcap spot. One thing I'll say -- if you go and see it's busy, be patient with these guys. They work really hard to make sure your drinks come out delicious and made right.
