If you love spicy food this is a must try place. They sell different kinds of authentic Chongqing noodles which are street foods in Szechuan (Sichuan) province of China. Their portions are super generous and the prices are reasonable. The quality of food and the flavors are top notch and presentation of the food is beautiful when you see it in person (or see the pic I took). We have been coming here for about dozen times now and have never had a bad experience. It's a cute little family-owned place that's packed on the weekends. This was so delicious. As another reviewer mentioned, the negative reviews have more to do with misguided expectations for service rather than the quality of the food. I went on a Thursday afternoon around 12:30 and it wasn't too busy. Got the signature spicy pork noodle soup with the peas and it was amazing. I got full spicy, so it was just popping with spice and the tingle from the Sichuan peppercorn. Noodles were chewy and delicious. Took me back to my days as an exchange student in China. It's a decent hole in the wall, street noodle shop for under $10. If you're wanting hot Sichuan noodles for a quick bite, this is the place for you. The food is better than the service, just know that coming in. The noodle to meat to veggie ratio is 3:2:1. I wish it was more proportionate without having to pay extra for meat and veggies. The amount of noodles for the soup is a good amount but again, mainly noodles. You can choose your degree of spice (I do medium for a slight kick), and I the noodles are fresh with a good amount of chew to it. My dad and husband really wanted a Beef Noodle Soup and my usual go-to was still closed to dine-in (June 2021) so I went scrambling to find a place. Saw this location on Yelp with good reviews so we gave it a try. The soup was great and we would for sure order again from here. It is a hole in the wall, but food was made fresh and the restaurant was pretty clean (few tables that weren't bussed). Ordered takeout. The noodles were definitely not cooked to order, more like precooked noodles that were stored in the fridge for a while, then reheated when the orders were in. What we order: I heard about this restaurant from a Dallas Chinese newspaper and I finally arrive there after a long drive. It was Friday evening and the restaurant was so packed. It is a self-served restaurant. You have to make your order in the counter and the staff will ask you to stand somewhere else until the noodles ready. And of course most of the customers didn't listen to the staff, they will get the sit before getting their noodles ready. Pissed me off. Menu is in Chinese. And I ordered in Chinese. As I can see 100% of the customers were Asian. It was loud and crowd. I feel like I am in China. Since the restaurant was so busy, I waited at least 20-30mins for my noodles. The noodles taste absolutely traditional. I am glad that I could taste this in America. It is the best China noodles I even had (out of china). I can tell why it is so crowd- the taste of home country. The noodles and the meat were in Chinese portion, it is good for me, but I guess many people could not get used to it. In term of the price, this is the main reason for me to get one of their star off. I would defiantly say it is super over priced. This is extremely expensive compare with China. New noodle place by 99 Ranch! Small restaurant and the main language here is Chinese. I had to ask for an English menu and they only had one copy. It's a self serve kind of place. You order at the counter and they will make you wait by the hallway until your food is ready for pickup. When you get your food that is when you can grab a table. There's a water station with utensils and napkins near the register. Menu focuses on noodle soups and they offer a variety of cold dishes. Majority of these soups are spicy but it's not that typical spiciness where it makes you want to drink water. It's that numbing of your tongue spicy. I've experienced this with other sichuanese foods. Not a big fan of this feeling as it made drinking water taste weird. But besides that I thought the soup was tasty. I really enjoyed the noodles and they give you a generous amount. But they're a bit stingy with the other toppings though. It's a refreshing concept as there's really nothing like this in the area. When is COVID-19 gonna go away. So me and the sweetie use to go to this place once every week. However, they closed due to COVID-19 and it still has not reopen. We always come here to get the soup noodle at medium spicy and dry noodles at mild. However, we haven't been here for 3 months due to COVID-19. Nothing to write home about but after striking out at 3 of our usual places we were starving. We walked over from their next door neighbor and were craving some noodles. We tried the beef tendon noodle (medium), wontons (not spicy), and minced pork noodle (mild). The noodles had a nice chew and bounce. The medium spice level was right at my threshold. When this place first opened, they only had Chinese menu which was silly! I guess they figured it out that they had to have English to cater to more diners! It's really simple, pick your noodles, pick yourprotein & a couple of other items. We had the dry noodles, paired with minced pork & added the beef, in medium spice! YUM! Beef was so tender I could eat a ton of it. They were friendly in helping to explain the menu to us. The only thing I didn't like was their stools. I prefer to sit on chairs with backs. Sitting on a stool was uncomfortable but I guess they want you in & out of that place quicker. And if you're a big person, their stools are meant for the average size Asian. Be careful with the spice level coz Szechuan spice is numbing. This is as close as you can get to a noodle shop in China, it's truly authentic. read more

This place serves up some Chongqing style street noodle snack in a cafeteria serve yourself type of setting in Plano. Yet whereas it cost $5RMB on the streets in Chongqing (because it was meant as a snack not as a meal) cost $10USD here. Not that I have a problem with higher prices if the food can redeem itself... I went on the second day of its grand opening, it was super crowded and hectic. After placing my order for the signature noodle and beef noddle, I had to watch like a hawk to snatch empty seats. Once the noodles' ready, they'll call out your number, you're responsible to carry the pipping hot soup bowls back to your seats. Oh yeah you'll also need to go get your utensils, water, napkins, etc... On to the noodles, the signature noodle is basically noodles in a spicy broth topped with some kinda of bean sauce and minced pork, it's their most expensive item on the menu yet they probably give you one small spoonful of each on top of your noodle, $9.75 Ka Ching, think I can do better at other noodle places in Plano. The beef noodle is a whole dollar cheaper at $8.75, yet the beef was cut up so small, like the size of my pinky, I was only able to find a couple pieces of them. So yeah the other reviews about this place being cheap on toppings are all legit, me and my companion were far from full after finishing our bowl of noodles. Perhaps they were really meant to be eaten as a snack. Tax is included in the price and there's no tipping required. So gotta give them credits for that. But it's cash only, doubt they'd report everything... Other than the signature and beef toppings, you can also opt for pig intestines and you can add an egg for additional $. For the broth they use a number of Sichuan spices and chilli peppers that would give you the numbing spicy mouth feel after you're half way into your noodle. The noodle may be slightly overcooked, but actually tasted pretty good, but the broth is probably not meant to be consumed as it's quite oily and heavily seasoned with salt and MSG, so be ready to drink plenty of water afterwards. As a noodle place, this place is overpriced for the type of noodle they serve and the stingy amount of both noodle and toppings they serve with. For that, many Jap Ramen places have it beat easy. This is not to say this place doesn't have potential, both food and service have room for improvement, to be on par with its price point. read more

If you're looking for those authentic sichuan street noodles that are packed with that signature floral spice and fragrance, this is the best you're gonna get in the DFW area! The spice level is up to you and if you go for HOT, you're really going to get HOT! They don't skimp on the spice here so be prepared! You can get the noodles dry or in soup form. I read the negative reviews and realized that they are mostly written by 1) people who do not understand Chinese on the menu 2) people who want more variety in the menu 3) people who do not see the "cash only" sign posted outside the restaurant 4) people with small children Aside from the four factors above, the food is veryyyyy good! I'm not a fan of a restaurant that offers 100+ items on the menu because it shows that the restaurant does not specialize in any one item! I like how Noodle China has much fewer selections than most noodle/Chinese place. The simplicity is what makes the noodle stand out! I'm a huge noodle lover and think the noodle here is fantastic!! If you are not looking for the quality of noodle, then why even come to this place at the first place? The price is on the higher side of a typical Chinese noodle place but the quality is what brings me back each week! Yes I drive 30min-ish each week on the TOLL WAY just to eat here! It's that good!! The restaurant has some small dishes to go with the noodle. The small dishes are a little colder than I'd like but they still taste good!
