Fun place with a good vibe and very good food. Bar area is a little small, so it gets crowded and you may have to wait for a drink, but the staff is attentive and friendly. The barn itself is so awesome. It's a beautiful post and beam barn kept true to its original design. Def try to sit in the top section to admire the building. Friendly staff, great live music. Downstairs game room is great in case you have to wait for a table.

The burgers were delicious. The live music and the ambience along with the friendly waiter made for a wonderful evening out. We'll be back to play some darts and eat delicious food

Fun upbeat bar and restaurant. Music was great and the prices were reasonable. I would return and maybe stay here on my next visit.

What went wrong? French fries delivered aside one of the two sandwich dishes was luke warm and nearly cold. Fries on the second sandwich dish were regular potatoes but we ordered sweet potato fries. Took 15-20 minutes to fix. Only 1 TV working on NFL playoff football weekend, and this TV was out of view of our table. Another TV located elsewhere was said to be non-operational due to a satellite dish having reception problems related to a couple of inches of "snow." The salmon add-on to the salad was overcooked and dry. So an overcooked salmon salad totaled $32, which are NYC prices for mediocre NH food. Service was very slow. It was a busy Saturday, so we didn't expect speed. What went right? Enjoyed the Brussel Sprouts appetizer. Loved a Czech beer on tap. Wildcat has a very decent tap menu. The overall ambience of the tavern-restaurant was excellent, and we especially appreciated the live music, which featured a guitarist playing 70's - 90's classic rock standards.

Lately, the area is struggling with staff, so there are long waits and service has been slow. Tuckerman's was on top of it all. Yes, they are a pub, but offer a good menu to please most if not all people in your party. We went with salads and a pizza this evening and were not dissapointed. The staff were professional, and attententive, so that was a huge plus. They have a variety of beer options and a good size menu. Honestly, I have only been at night and never really looked around the hotel area and grounds during the day, but it is located in a quiet area, but easy to access the main road and all the sites.

Tuckerman's is one you can never go wrong with and will likely always be a must visit for us in the Valley.

We were concerned because of the holiday weekend; we would have to wait, but there was no waiting today. Just walked in. My friends who grew up here were surprised by the small crowd, as this was a popular hangout for them. Turns out the Red Parka has new owners, and it appears the neighbors /locals are not happy. My friend was hoping for a steak. Apparently, that was a hot ticket item in the past. The staff was very professional and attentive. And the menu was above average. Though there was not a crowd, the food did take a bit of time, but we were catching up with our friends and it was fine. When the food came out, most of our dishes arrived on silver trays, which seemed odd. My friend was a bit taken aback by the changes. I guess Red Parka was more of a nice dinner option for people with plates and napkins. One of our party had salmon, so it was served a bit more formally, and overall they enjoyed it. My drink was actually quite good, but I was not sure about the margherita chicken tacos. They have a lot of seating indoors and a patio outdoors. They also have a bar area and provide live music. So, worth a visit.
