While the frame selection was smaller at Mequon, the staff was very helpful and I found a pair. They delivered the glasses to this location. There was a mixup in the lab and they returned an empty frame so it took longer than it should have.

After that - a portion of the eye exam began. Next, the Doctor introduced himself, asked questions, and began his portion of the exam. I was a bit nervous because I do not do well when rushed, or instructions are not clear. I found Dr. Bradley Schuster to be a breath of fresh air. He was clear, calm, very patient, and his remarks during the testing were supportive and calming. He was very thorough. He found a few abnormalities with my eyes and explained the issues, and next steps. My husband was impressed with the Doctor's demeanor, and professionalism. I would personally recommend Dr. Bradley Schuster to anyone, but especially to a person who is not accustomed to getting an eye exam. The quality of his staff, and care was outstanding.

The reasons for…read moremy 1 star rating are as follows: Dr. Walters misdiagnosed me, is illegally withholding medical records, thinks 8 weeks is a legitimate time frame to return phone calls, and is overall very rude and unprofessional. It is my assumption he is withholding my medical records and the office notes because they are incomplete and substantiate my claim of a misdiagnosis. Not only is withholding my medical records a HIPAA violation, it's not representative of a legitimate medical practice. I have made several requests both verbally and in writing for my records AND THE NOTES. If my Medicare and HIPPA violation complaints don't get their attention, perhaps a subpoena will. Dr Walters claims his standard time frame of 8 weeks to return phone calls is completely reasonable. This is absolutely absurd. Not only have I worked at several reputable medical practices, but I often have to reach out to various medical practices regarding myself, children, and wife. I have yet to come across anywhere else that its not SOP to return phone calls within 24 hours on a business day. At most legitimate medical practices 24-48 hours is the standard. When I dared to very nicely bring these issues to Dr Walters attention, he told me that I should be nicer to people who have "carried" me. I asked him what he meant by this statement and he did not care to elaborate. These items I spoke to him in a completely flat and emotionless tone. I still don't know what he meant by "carried you" since he hasn't even done the bare minimum, yet the billing system seems to always be working just fine. Finally, the parking lot, waiting area, reception area, bathrooms, and diagnostic area, were ALL very dirty and unkept. I'm sure if you have simple needs for something like near or far sighted correction, and you are willing to put up with the above, then go ahead and take your chances. Otherwise if you have low vision I strongly recommend you avoid this place for your own health and safety.

I've got 4 kids, ages 3-14 and the docs and staff are always patient and thorough. Reception staff is quick and friendly.
