I was very disappointed in the flowers that were deliver to my sister. I paid $150 for the small arrangement. And then when I called to complain, I was talked down to. And was told that the roses were $8 each and then the lady said 8x8 is 64. Like I can't do math. She then proceeded to tell me that since I live in NeYork city that I would be paying more. I live in New York State. She then justified the arrangement by saying that she has been in business for 53 year. I do apologize for cussing and that was wrong but I am tired of false advertising and downsizing product to make money. I was told that I shouldn't have ordered online. I stopped into the store on 01/20/2020 and was greeted by the lady behind the counter, who was super nice. I explained I wanted to get a birthday floral arraignment for my mom but had no idea exactly what. She spoke with me and took notes (nice vase, loves yellow, something pretty). I had the delivery date set for 01/22/2020. Well they knocked it out of the park! My mom was happy and thought they were gorgeous! My 19 yr old son even said "wow mom these flowers are sooooooo pretty!" You are my go to when it comes to flowers and I love being able to support a local business! What is it with Flower Shops these days? Do they think that if flowers are wired from another state that the sender will never see the flowers? Well think again, Bits and Pieces. I had the misfortune to see some flowers that you were responsible for over Mother's Day weekend. The recipient called me the day they came to thank me, but there was something in her voice that told me something was wrong. So upon probing, she told me that the flowers were wilted when they arrived and the water was half full (not usually a problem as it's done to alleviate spillage) but that the water was cloudy. You know the look. The one on day three that reminds you to change the water. And when she changed the water- the flower stems were slippery also indicating old flowers. I wish she had refused delivery of them, but she didn't. And when I called the shop to ask for a "do over", the phone just rang and rang and rang. I show up two days later and see my $75 gift (plus wiring fees totaling $90) brown, limp and really quite ugly. This only three days after delivery. Fresh cut flowers should minimally last 5 days and with these types of flowers, even longer. They sold me old flowers. Guess they thought that the senior citizen who was on the receiving end wouldn't complain. The next time I need flowers delivered in WI- I will call the florist that I used to work with and not have them wired. And you can bet I'll be telling my local flower shop here NOT to use this place for any future orders. read more

I have had a similar experience as others. I wish I would've checked yelp reviews before ordering flowers for a family friends moms funeral from Bits N Pieces. I was thinking of ordering online but at second thought decided to call and order the green plant arrangement on the phone since I wasn't sure what I wanted. I talked to an employee on the phone, she asked all great questions. I/We decided on a green plant but to include a lot of flowers. Because it would be set out for the funeral I wanted something the family could keep but also something beautiful. I Paid 94.99 for this wonderful arrangement. Our family was not able to attend the funeral, but our good family friend wanted to thank us and sent us a picture of the arrangement sent. It was nothing but a green plant. And a pathetic one at that. My mom instantly started crying. This woman has been a great friend for the last 35 years. I was/am embarrassed to say that I paid that much for it. The Follow Up: I called the store to complain and let them no they had a very disgruntled customer. Their phone etiquette was good, however the manager kept asking me what I thought they should do. I'm not one to demand my money back... this is also the first review I've ever written, that should help you in understanding exactly how big of a rip off Bits N Pieces is. Anyways... I ended up saying to the manager, "If you could take back the embarrassment my mom feels, that would be great. But since you can't do that, I guess you should refund us the appropriate amount for how my mom and family feel due to your stores fault" She refunded me $21.12. The difference is the exact amount that the manager said they sell the plant for. Basically that tells me that this is not a flower business. Flower businesses are sympathetic to people at hard times. They love bringing joy with flowers and most of all customer service is important. Had we been reimbursed more, maybe I wouldn't have written this review. This is my experience with them... I'll let you draw your own conclusions if that was an appropriate response from a flower shop. read more

After reading the other reviews posted, I had to scratch my head in wonderment. While I may live in Chicago, I grew up in West Bend and have firsthand experience with the wonderful floral arrangements put out by this lovely local gem. Oddly enough, my review today was prompted not by flowers, but by a fantastic balloon arrangement sent to my niece for her sixteenth birthday. Being that I'm not nearby to pick them up and deliver myself, I'm thrilled to be able to rely on a known and trusted business with the confidence that they will deliver something I'm proud to send. The glowing reviews and photos sent of the delivery only reaffirm my confidence in ordering from Bits N' Pieces. The ultimate flower store! I love Bits n Pieces. You can walk-in and get a beautiful arrangement any time of year. It is my go to flower store. I have used them for over 13 years. They will also special order arrangements. They found a indoor rose bush for me that has lasted many years. The people are very nice, excellent delivery, and beautiful arrangements. When my mother passed, and we wanted to honor her with beautiful arrangements, we knew just where to go. And Bits n Pieces did not disappoint. We talked about flowers mom loved, flowers she grew, and how much flowers were a part of her life. The arrangements reflected that love, right down to tucking an African Violet plant (she grew these) into the floral arrangement from the great grand children. They came through in the last hour! I needed flowers to be sent quickly due to short notice on a funeral. When I called, the lady was a gem, Lanae. So helpful, so sweet and customer focused. She and the designer accommodated our last minute request and followed through ensuring it would happen. Just when you think good customer service is out the window, Bit N Pieces exemplifies that they still value their customers and go above and beyond. Kudos to them! To Bits and Pieces Floral, On Saturday, February 5th, I received a bouquet of flowers in a vase from your Floral Shop as a gift for my birthday. My husband told me he paid $50.00 for it and I had to hide my shock from him so he would not know how badly he had been taken advantage of. He stopped in, told you the amount he wanted to spend and that I liked purple flowers. He said he trusted your judgment and went shopping and came back to pick them up. He does not go to florists often so he thought it was a reasonable price for what he received, but I know better. The arrangement looks like it should have cost maybe $25.00 at the most. There is one small rose bunch, 3 carnations, 4 tulips and 3 or 4 other variety of flowers, very sparsely arranged. The roses completely drooped by Tuesday morning, 3 days after purchase and the water became green and cloudy on Sunday. I have never been so disappointed in a bouquet of flowers, ever. David was not too upset by it, he just will never buy flowers from you again. I, on the other hand have to complain especially after looking at your website and seeing what your other $50.00 bouquets look like. They looked so much fuller than mine and had higher quality flowers. I do not understand how you could charge such a high price for such low quality, sparse flowers in a vase with a bow. I can get the exact same flowers that are better quality from Pick 'n Save and they will last 2 weeks and are $10-$20.00. Live and learn I guess but your photos are nothing like the bouquet I received. Just wanted to give my opinion... Penny read more

STAY AWAY... think twice before giving them any of your hard earned money. TERRIBLE flowers, TERRIBLE service, TERRIBLE management. All around TERRIBLE. do not let them cheat you! I ordered something on line, even did an upgrade so the arrangement was fuller. What was delivered was so disappointing. When I called to express my frustrations to the manager Deb, all she could do was tell me how it was my fault and she couldn't help. She even went as far to question the event for which I was sending the flowers... told me the recipient wasn't even "really retiring" WHAT... so out of line and inappropriate. I have used this shop for several years now for just about all occasions whether happy times or sad. I have always had helpful polite service and if something did not meet my expectations they were always corrected. I personally know that they take care in what is sent as if they were sending to their own family. The people that work there are very friendly and I have seen them deal with difficult people in a very professional manner no matter how wrong the customer could be. I even saw a customer bring back a "very dead plant" that was obvisously over watered and they graciously gave her a new plant. I highly recommend this flower shop to anyone who wants something more than the ordinary and who will gladly work with you to meet your expectations. read more

Not only once but four times now we have used this floral shop. We decided to order specifically from their web page this last time so we would know what we were getting, thinking that would help. Wrong. Online was a gorgeous arrangement, what we received looked nothing like what we ordered. Wilted flowers, broken greens... it was embarrassing taking them to the recipient. Strongly urge going elsewhere. Since then we have tried Flowersmith in West Bend, and they are stuningly beautiful! Very unhappy with Bits N' Pieces. read more
