For selection and service, Premier Vision is far and away the BEST!! My wife and I recently purchased two pairs of glasses each and couldn't be happier with the product lines. The sales staff is knowledgable and takes the time to suggest and provide the customer with specific styles that reflect use and fashion sense. My family and I have been customers of Premier Vision, Fox Point, for several years and as such have had eye examinations and purchased glasses and contact lenses on several occasions. Everyone there is friendly as well as professional and knowledgeable. As with any business, sometimes "glitches" can occur. How the staff responds to these situations is what separates the superior business from the average or less-than-average. I also understand that you can't please everyone 100% of the time (especially those who may have overly high expectations). From my own recent experience, I can honestly say that the staff, doctor, manager, counter and sales personnel at Premier Vision of Fox Point truly believe in and practice top notch customer service. My husband Frank and I got our sunglasses here and actually he got his first reading glasses here, Shannon ( one of the ladies there) was super helpful and attentive, she is always very friendly and show us the latest trends ,my husband actually liked a different color and she ordered it for him, she make sure he try right fit/model for his face ( and his peeky taste)... Shannon made sure that the insurance we got work for the payment of the reading glasses We can't be more grateful! I never liked going to the doctor, much less the eye doctor, but I found this place called Premier Vision in Fox Point, WI. a few years back. Since it was time to have my eyes checked again I figured that it may as well be them. I made my appointment with Dr. Eric Pedersen, who I like and he went into detail about my eyes with me. Doc is a great guy and shows a true interest in the well being of my eyes. Terry, his tech always makes me feel at ease and explained the tests she had to do and why we had to do them. You have Marion up front keeping my paperwork in order and always greets me with a big smile. Now comes the part I hate most , trying to find new frames and the fit. There is a ABOC frame & lens specialist by the name of Abby who helped me get two pairs of the most awesome fitting glasses that I ever had. She could see I was fussy about the coatings , material , transition lenses, polished edges for my trifocals and understood my concerns. The best part is that she knew exactly what my insurance would cover and and how to get me the very best use of my money. I can tell you this , she has got this down to perfection, my glasses look and feel great, plus it makes me feel good to hear the complements that I gotten. I could never done this without Abby , she rocks !!! The entire staff at Premier Vision Fox Point (Milwaukee) rocks. Go see them, you won't be sorry! I would give them 6 stars if possible . Over priced and terrible service.

I thought the employees were very friendly and extremely helpful, and I received great service from the doctor for my scheduled eye exam. I love that they have the Optomap Retinal machine as an alternative option to getting my eyes dilated. The small additional fee is totally worth it since I am very squeamish about having things touch my eye and don't like the idea of my pupils purposely being dilated. As I picked out my new frames after the exam, the entire staff was very helpful in showing me frames while giving me honest opinions about the shapes and colors I tried on. I feel like I received an excellent level of customer service and highly recommend this store to anyone looking for a personalized experience with people that truly seem to care about their customers. I really like this place! I had to go in for an urgent visit for an eye injury, and they gave me an immediate appointment--the doctor even walked into the waiting room and put soothing drops in my eyes bc he knew I was coming and didn't want me to suffer any longer! I have been there more than once for checkups/glasses/contacts, and my kids go there. There is always someone who seems helpful and knowledgeable with the glasses and contacts, and the selection is good but not overwhelming in size. Getting ready to schedule my 3rd annual exam and was disappointed to see some of these reviews! I have been to the Mequon and Fox Point offices and like them both! read more

This place is the worst. They nickel and dime you for everything. Every visit they have quoted me, the end charge ends up being way more. The ladies at the front desk aren't terrible, but the quality of service here has gotten worse and worse. I've been going for 4 or so years just out of convenience, but I'm done with them after another terrible visit. AVOID! read more

I've had emergency room visits that were faster. Terrible time management from staff. I can understand waiting at at high-end optometrist practice, but this was a strip-mall shop. Yes, they were kind and apologetic, but nearly 3 hours was ridiculous. read more

Premier Vision Fox Point has gone downhill. I've been a customer for years and always saw Dr. Christiansen who recently left. I was never happy with their other staff members, but that's changed too and for the worse. As evidence, I had six separate instances where the staff failed to provide quality or reliable service to me after a recent eye exam. Here they are for you to judge for yourself: 1) my prescription changed slightly and I have bad allergies, so the new Dr. recommended that I try a pair of trial contact lenses in a monthly disposable and a daily disposable. After waiting 2 weeks and receiving nothing in the mail, I called to inquire. The first staff person I spoke with said that I have a rare prescription and that was probably the cause of the delay - I tried to correct her thinking in that the trials were coming directly from the manufacturer, so blaming my prescription was a very untactful cover up as to why no one on their end had followed-up on the order before 2 weeks. 2) A 2nd lady called back after my asking them to follow-up with the manufacturer and admitted that someone was supposed to follow-up on all orders after 1 week, but didn't and my order "fell through the cracks." Mind you, I was wearing my last pair of lenses at this point (as most ppl do) and needed something fast. 3) She said she spoke to the manufacturer and confirmed they'd be sent out ASAP. I asked to confirm that they'd be sent to my chicago address, not wisconsin, and she replied, "well, there's no note in here for that." I had to explain that on my appointment day, I asked for this and read my chicago address out-loud in front of about 5 other patients at the time. Again, acting as if I was to blame for the error. She had to call the manufacturer back again and order a 2nd trial pair of lenses to be sent to my chicago address. Keep in mind that the 1st order never came, so I get the impression that they were probably never ordered in the first place. Nice. But wait. It gets WORSE. 4) So, standard process is for the manufacturer to ship the trials to Premier Vision and they re-package the trials with a receipt and mail them out. The trials arrived to my chicago address finally and I started wearing the daily lenses and then the monthly ones. Something was definitely OFF! For the next week and a half, I had vertigo all day long (mid a business trip that was shot because of it) and finally realized that I felt better only when wearing my glasses at night. It finally dawned on me that it was the contact lenses. 5) I called Premier Vision and explained what was going on. A staff member told me that I was probably wearing the wrong lens in each eye (left vs. right). By this time, I had no more lenses left, so I had to drive to my home in wisconsin so that I could try the 2nd trial lenses that were originally sent there. Sure enough, that was issue, but ONLY because - the store manager who packaged the trials DID NOT mark or indicate which box was for the left eye or the right eye in both cases - chicago and wisconsin. The boxes were literally empty. The woman I spoke to said the store manager remembers marking the boxes and I had to correct and insist that she didn't. ABSURD. What do I have to do? Take pictures and send them to you so that you believe me? It's like these women take no responsibility for ANYTHING and blame the customer instead. PATHETIC. So at this point, I decided that I wasn't going to order new lenses through Premier Vision because they don't deserve to make more money from me as a patient. 6) I called and asked to have a printout of my prescription mailed to my chicago address. One week later (6 mailing days), it still hadn't arrived and I had to call and ask AGAIN, for my prescription to be mailed out to me. I mean, this place literally can't do anything right and after YEARS of going here, they no longer will have me as a patient. Thanks PV for wasting A LOT of my time, for the more than a month-long effort to try new lenses, for the week and a half of vertigo, and for all of the frustration and blame-games. You guys deserve to be out of business. read more

I went to Premier Vision to see Dr. Christensen who was highly recommended to me. However, when I arrived I saw the optician who I've previously worked with at Pearle Vision. I was so disappointed to see her there. I've had issues with Abby in the past but I decided to give her a second chance since I wanted to try a new dr. Dr. Christensen was absolutely wonderful, he was very thorough throughout my exam and the staff was very friendly. Until I went to pick frames, of course Abby didn't allow me to pick the frame myself, she just brought frames over to me and had me sit and try them. When I came to my decision on frames she didn't bother to go over anything except for what I owed. When I asked about my options she seemed frustrated over my budget. I've had the same issue with her in the past so I decided not to get glasses there. I highly recommended getting an exam here however take your glasses business elsewhere. read more
