The manager here who is ANTHONY has the worst customer service EVER! He is very arrogant and does not know how to handle customers frustration. I would recommend you to visit Lakewood instead. My review has nothing to do with the staff but pricing and honor. I was there this past Saturday 5/11, I was looking for comfortable workout shoes under a $100. The gentleman helping me was nice and very knowledgeable. The shoe I found a liking to was sold out in my size, so I found another shoe @$89.98. Even better! Plus they had my size, I'm all ready to go and checkout. Now the total is $150 plus. As I sat there perplexed I had to refer the staff to the ticketed price on the shoe. Of course no one has an idea of the price and how that happened. Worse case scenario all they offer is 20% off. No where near my $100 budget and clearly not mistake. Just wanted to come on here and thank the worker Chris tomayo (hope I spelt that right) for going above and behind helping me with my dilemma for my anniversary. After being lied to at sheikh about a certain shoe being in stock that was hard to get ahold of, I wandered over to shoe palace in hopes of them having it ; as it was sold out everywhere in the size I needed. I told chris my situation and he went back and forth from the inventory room about 4 times in effort to see if there was at least one pair left. He even went as far as to check the shoes off the mannequin that was displaying them. Unfortunately there wasn't any left in stock but his efforts didn't stop there. He tried even harder by calling a couple of shoe palaces for me and fortunately ended up finding a pair all the way in Torrance. I can't thank him enough as i really needed to get my hands on these for my girlfriend. With that said It's hard to find good employees and help now a days but shoe palace, you have yourselves a damn good person/worker. Thanks for saving my anniversary. Albert, Leaf or Lief, and manager Kenneth were very helpful and hard workers, bought 4 pairs of shoes and they made sure I get the shoes I was looking and putting one of the shoes I wanted that they didn't have in store on hold at the Lakewood Shoe Palace location. never order from shoe palace online or even buy from them! first of all they never send you a email of your item being shipped but they do charge your account the minute you order from them. second of all their customer service is terrible to begin with they never answer your calls always a machine with leave a message. so no they have not improved customer service since 2016 like they like to reply with on our reviews. they never respond to messages or emails sent to them. and lastly, their store policy sucks! never again! read more
