Not gonna lie... I don't think I'd go back to DSW after coming here. After being tired of feeling…read morelike DSW never has good deals anymore and was lacking in men's styles, I decided to check out Famous Footwear. I thought that the variety in men's styles was much stronger (and there were lots of affordable options (brands mean nothing to me). There were a couple styles where my size wasn't available (I imagine my size is pretty common). That can be a little frustrating. The staff was super friendly and helped me use a coupon to score a discount on my purchases. I also really liked that this store had lots of places to sit down and try on your shoes. Sometimes, I've felt at DSW that there were so many people that it was hard to have some personal space while you shop. The clearance section here had a great selection, but the discounts didn't feel particularly strong. All in all, I had a good experience shopping here and would definitely come back.

Larhonda who is a team lead was extremely unprofessional during my interaction with her today. The…read morelevel of service received was by far the worst and I've shopped at this location for many years. I inquired about a cologne that showed it being on sale on my device however in store it rang up as original price. The fine print on my device stated OR for purchases in store OR online. She was nasty with her tone and also lacked willingness to help. I waited for 20 mins before her manager Felisha, happened to walk by and without hesitation assisted me with a resolution. She went above and beyond and I felt much better that we had a resolution HOWEVER Mrs. Long nails LaRhonda with the bad attitude engaged another associate his name begins with "D" (I will update this review with his name at a later time) a tall, light skinned young man who immediately agreed with her without verifying that the item was not available at this location. The individuals lacked professionalism, both LaRhonda and D lied to my face and what's sad is that they was more concerned with getting everyone out before closing. I walked in at 711pm, the store closes at 8. You don't need to be in customer service if you have an attitude when assisting a customer. LaRhonda needs proper training on customer service. Horrible interaction with her nasty attitude. She needs to be in the back unboxing merchandise and away from customers. Thankfully Felisha stepped in at the right time.

She told me that they basically send their scraps over and they never take anything because it's not good. I had name brand items in the basket (Eddie Bauer, j crew, old navy, etc.). Rude of her to act like that towards potential sellers and customers that would come into the store. I will never be selling here again.

It may have just become my favorite because: the wider aisles!!!, the number of brand new clothes available, the great selection of size 12 shoes (wow- new Rothy's for $28!!!), and the significant selection of a $5 sale! Entering the store I wondered if I would find enough items I "needed" to be able to use my $5 off of $25 coupon. Ummmmm... I found much more than $25 worth of items to bring home with me! The staff were friendly and helpful too!

Instead, she took almost an hour out of her day to ensure my daughter received the perfect cleats for her feet. The level of passion that she has for her job and for helping players find the exact tools they need reminded me of going shopping for camping gear with my dad as a kid, and the kind gentlemen that would gladly and enthusiastically talk to you for hours about every item on the shelf (and a few more that aren't). My dad used to take me there as a kid in the 90's, and I will gladly continue to drive past the big box store to get to Soccer Village precisely because you will never find this level of care and product knowledge anywhere else. Love the high ceilings and the decor in this place. It feels very natural and bright. Not super into the religious angle of this place but it wasn't too in your face besides the Christian music playing. The young woman helping me was seriously like a personal shopper - she needs a raise!!! I ended up buying 3 dresses and a pair of shoes for Mexico and I could not be more excited. I will note that I feel like the prices here are way too high for the quality, but since it was a special occasion I just went with it. I will definitley come back to this location. I had never really shopped at Crestview Hills before but it is SO MUCH more relaxed and nicer than Kenwood. It reminds me of Roodwood but without the traffic. I came into this store with every intention of walking in, pointing to a shoe, being like "I'll…read moretake this in a size 9" and walking out. It was clear as soon as I walked in that this was not THAT KIND of establishment. It's not enough for you to think you know what you want, they want to make sure you buy what you, your body, your legs and feet NEED. Christine, the sales person, was very intentional and methodical. She measured my feet, even though I knew my size, she checked my arches, she watched me walk, looks at my steps, and how my ankles and feet moved and asked why I was in the market for new shoes. Then she selected what she thought I needed based on my needs and my build. In the end I tried on seven pairs of shoes. I walked out with the shoe I wanted but not because I wanted it, because I knew they were the right shoe for me. Christine was unrushed, patient, knowledgeable and genuinely interested in making sure i had the RIGHT SHOE. I've worn them every day since I bought them two days ago and my walking routine has improved so much! I also ended up buying sunnies, anti friction balm and a foot massager. After her great service just buying a pair of shoes did not feel like enough!

It was disheartening to see such blatant judgement assuming based on how I was dressed. I would have considered purchasing, but walked out because I don't want to support a place that treats customers as such.
