Larhonda who is a team lead was extremely unprofessional during my interaction with her today. The level of service received was by far the worst and I've shopped at this location for many years. I inquired about a cologne that showed it being on sale on my device however in store it rang up as original price. The fine print on my device stated OR for purchases in store OR online. She was nasty with her tone and also lacked willingness to help. I waited for 20 mins before her manager Felisha, happened to walk by and without hesitation assisted me with a resolution. She went above and beyond and I felt much better that we had a resolution HOWEVER Mrs. Long nails LaRhonda with the bad attitude engaged another associate his name begins with "D" (I will update this review with his name at a later time) a tall, light skinned young man who immediately agreed with her without verifying that the item was not available at this location. The individuals lacked professionalism, both LaRhonda and D lied to my face and what's sad is that they was more concerned with getting everyone out before closing. I walked in at 711pm, the store closes at 8. You don't need to be in customer service if you have an attitude when assisting a customer. LaRhonda needs proper training on customer service. Horrible interaction with her nasty attitude. She needs to be in the back unboxing merchandise and away from customers. Thankfully Felisha stepped in at the right time. read more

I'm not really much of a Macy's shopper so keep my level of novice in mind with the four stars... as a customer who has officially been in this store twice, I like it. Most recently, an order brought me in for a order online, pick up in store for free deal. For what I was looking for, Macy's had the best sale around (men's gym shorts, $11 Adidas. The ladies at the pick up counter were friendly and let me look through my bag to make sure I had the right thing. Hubs and I decided to walk around since we had time and overall, it seems like they have a lot to offer. Several clearance racks in all departments. I love the seasonal/home section(s) upstairs. They had all kinds of trinkets and cute gifts for cheap. We ended up buying more than what we intended, how can you pass up a good Martha Stewart dish sale? I'll keep Macy's on my list for small gifts but as far as clothes shopping, I'll probably stick to buying online and maybe just occasionally stopping in the store. read more

I went to pick up an order a few days ago, and the lady i spoke with at the checkout/guest services was the sweetest (i wish i got her name) But my trip took a unhappy turn when i went to the perfume counter. No one was at the counter, so i asked an employee who walked past did she work there. She stated yes, but her response was not very "welcoming". I was looking for a certain scent, and i already knew the ones i wanted to try out and see the scent. I asked her about the YSL perfume and she stated they only had 1 left, and that was the one that was already opened, in a gift basket that was made in store. I then kinda paused and was thinking on what i could do next, and she then asks me "what are you confused about". I got offended by that because i was pausing to see if that was something i wanted to buy. I prefer my perfumes unopened, especially because the perfume itself is expensive. On that experience alone, i won't go into this store to check out perfume. I'll just go to kenwood or order online. It seems like her tone changed when i stated i worked for Macy's anyways, people like that don't need to be working for Macy's, and i get tired of dealing with people like that with horrible customer service read more

Downgrading my review for this Macys location, as a lot has changed recently, and not for the better. First of all, almost the entire first floor has been moved around. Many of the smaller checkout counters that were scattered around have now been consolidated to two large stations, one on either side of the store. This is my biggest issue. This takes the wonderful customer service aspect that this store offered, and pushed it to two spots only. Rarely do I see any associates away from there now. The organization and dressing rooms are suffering due to this. Different sections such as purses, shoes, and sunglasses seem to be smaller now as well as athletic gear. The Clinique counter (as well as other cosmetics) have maintained their sizes and quality service. Some of the inventory space has been taken up by the addition of the Macys Backstage store on the second floor (discount TJmaxx like separate thing). I am also finding there are less and less high end brands at this location, leaving me to go to the hectic Kenwood, Dayton, or online ugh. read more

This Macy's is A-OK. It's located inside the Anderson town center. I would honestly never go here unless I was in the neighborhood and on this occasion I was and looking for swimsuits for an upcoming trip to Mexico. The store is very small and the selection is pretty small too. Parts of the store are tidy, and others not so much. I was in and out quickly and parking is easy. Again, I wouldn't go out of my way to come here - and if you're looking for something in particular, it might be better to call or check online first. If you're just browsing and looking to go shopping it's fine, but there is nothing else around it besides a bunch of chain restaurants and a theatre. 3 stars - AOK. read more

I usually shop at the Macy's in Kenwood but was in this area to have lunch with my boyfriend. This Macy's has the same set up as the one in Kenwood. It's well organized, good selections in every department. Sale racks are not as cluttered. Checkout is also easy access which you don't have to wait long like most places. read more

Bill and Jeff were outstanding, both in their product knowledge and attention to detailed, courteous customer service. My job requires business formal every day. And as a young professional, it's difficult to field a diverse wardrobe on a budget. Thanks to the salesmen in the Mens' department, I was able to make the right selections at a smart price. Love the way this Macy's is set up and by far has the largest clearance section than any other Macy's around. Great customer service and love that it is near restaurants, salons, nail salons, Starbucks and Weight Watchers. There is a dine in movie theatre within walking distance that has recliners. Great purse selection. Wait for the one day sale, or at the end of a season and prices are better. Recommend going early in am to get a good parking space. The Outback Steakhouse across the street has great food. read more

I was on Macy's yesterday to buy my granddaughter a pair of boots I asked a sales rep where the childrens shoes were and she informed me that they don't sell childrens shoes.I was a bit upset because I had seen the boots I wanted online but shipping was almost 10 dollars so I hoped to save the money and just get them at the store. Erin took her time and even though the computer was acting up, she found the boots and ordered them for me with free shipping. She was so helpfull even thwough she could have just sent me on my way.Way to treat your customers Macy's. BRAVO read more

I have shopped at this store on occasion for years. Unfortunately the selection is usually sub-par compared to other locations. The amount of inventory is much less than the other larger stores in the area. If you need something quick, you might get lucky, but if you are really looking to shop visit a different location. read more

Wow Macy's, I have heard of bad customer service but this one really takes the case. My Father contacted your company because he could not figure out on your poorly designed website to pay off a "special event account". Once he FINALLY got hold of someone in your customer service department, he explained to them that my Mother had just passed away, that he wished to pay off the account in which a payment was not due yet and the entire thing wasn't due to be paid off until December and then he wished to close this "special event account". He was told that your company would have a special accounts advisor or someone contact him within 72 hrs. WELL, no call came, imagine that. So, my father went to one of your stores, asked for a service desk was told you didn't have one in that store and the girl told him she could take the payment but couldn't close the account. He made the payment there then went to the furniture store where they bought the chair to see if possibly they could help him. The gentleman there offered to contact the credit department for my father, after waiting about 10 minutes to get a customer service rep on the line they informed my father the account was closed, now how did this account get closed when no one could do this? Upon arriving home that day my father received a call from a collections account, seriously? This is how you treat your customers? The first agent my father spoke to instead of having someone call my father has she stated she would, closed the account and turned it over for collection. What part of I WANT TO PAY MY WIFE'S BILL (which wasn't even due) gives this person the right to turn an account over for collection? Do you truly believe this is the way to treat a customer especially during a time when they are going through one of the most difficult times of their lives? You need to train your staff to LISTEN to your customers and to follow through on what they promise they will do for that customer. You have lost many customers for life due to the inability of your customer service rep to actually take care of and provide quality service especially while we are mourning the loss of our Mother and do not need any added stress in our lives also the fact that my Mother always had perfect credit to have this happen was an insult to her credit history. read more
