This place is growing on me. I like stores that have personnel to help you, but those are few and far apart in this day and age. So why pay too much for things that make your heart beat faster? Like what, you ask. Cashmere sweaters at a fraction of the department store, designer shoes and bags, really anything you want. I had gone to Chicos before stopping here, looking for a black leather blazer I had seen on line. They didn't have it in, but could order for me for $170. I like to see it and try it on first. Found a duplicate here for around $50. Color me happy. Also a green suede coat at a fabulous price. You stand in line to pay, but the cashiers are always friendly and quick, Next trip in was a bust, but I'll keep looking. I'm like that. read more

Look- I'm a women's shoe size 12. Now that Payless doesn't exist, the only place that carries shoes for me is Nordstrom rack. I'm standing I. Your store looking at tons of racks labeled 12, but almost all of the shoes are size 10 or size 11. There are no 13's and barely any 12's. Like maybe 3 pairs. It's disappointing to have no options, but enraging to think I have a selection when literally 40 pairs of shoes are purposely mis-shelved. I'm guessing you don't want brick and mortar stores any more so you are ok with shitty service and shitty stock... but, it's upsetting. I used to be able to count on your store and I've just been let down too many times. read more

What a pleasant surprise finding extended shoe sizes in an array of styles! Visited Nordstrom Rack while shopping around Rookwood Commons and when I first visited I couldn't help but to think it has a setup like Marshalls/Ross dept store, especially with merchandise being jammed into the checkout area. I quickly browsed through the Men's clothing section and found that most items I would buy were accessories or dress clothes. Well, didn't buy any of those because though there many fashion socks, only one size fits most. Also, just wasn't looking for free clothes. Well, decided to checkout the shoe section and found an entire wall of shoes in my size, this is rare with my size. I ended up trying on five different pairs from casual to heavy boots. I bought two pair! If I had success with extended size shoes, imagine what you can do. Moms, take your growing teenaged boys here for shoes. They'll hook your up. read more

Nordstrom Rack is my favorite store. I don't know how much longer I can live without having one close to me anymore! Thank goodness though because otherwise I'd be shopping there every day. This location offers everything you would expect. And on my recent visit when the lines got really long management stepped in and opened up a new register. Actually, the lines moved very quickly anyways despite the crowd but it was great to see them taking care of their customers. And here's another thing they do especially well: they have a HUGE shoe selection. There are so many shoes lining the walls from size 6 all the way up to ladies size 11 which is huge. I walked out with so many new heels to make a girl go crazy. You know what I'll be strutting in this weekend. read more

I wish they would please clean the hair out of their shopping cart wheels. All the carts, and all the wheels, are covered in giant bird nests of hair. For Cincinnati, Nordstrom is haute couture, top shelf designer shopping. While I tend to be outfitted by JCPenney or Target, Nordstrom Rack provides a plethora of clearance items at half the price of their department store in Kenwood, which fits right into my budget. I would hesitate to call Nordstrom Rack an outlet store, because it offers so much more than the standard bargain bin: - The shop is bright, clean, and feels like shopping in a one-story department store. - All of the clothes are organized by gender, style, and size. For example, all of the Size 12 dresses are together on a rack, clearly labeled with a giant sign. Also, there are no stray clothes lying on the floor or out of place. - The fitting rooms are well kept and have an attendant waiting on you. - Any of the employees wearing a green shirt can ring up your purchases remotely without having to queue at a register. Then they email you a receipt. My favorite detail about this store is that Nordstrom has an in-house tailor that can perform alterations on your clothes and have them ready in one week. Anything purchased from Nordstrom Rack can be altered. You can also bring in your own items to be altered at an upcharge. If you need some well-made business attire or a swanky staple piece, Nordstrom Rack can dress you in designer wares for an affordable price: - Suits: $79.00 - $200.00 - Dresses: $30.00 - $50.00 - Designer Handbags: $40.00 I saw many Michael Kors items for $50.00 or less. My heart also fluttered at the sight of my favorite splurge item: Stuart Weitzman shoes. Their signature violet boxes jumped out from the rack, each marked down 50% from list price. What normally goes as a $300.00 shoe went as low as $130.00. Another tip for the ladies: KushyFoot. I've only ever found these in New York City and was elated to see them in Oakley. These are a brand of little black foot covers that are great to wear with flats or heels. KushyFoot has padding on the ball of foot and heel, and the biggest plus: they actually stay on your foot! Too many of the other brands would slide off during the day, but not KushyFoot! They come in a variety of colors and styles: white, beige, and black and are offered in solid or lacy styles. If you haven't been to Nordstrom Rack, plan to make a stop here...at least to pick up some KushyFeet! read more

This Nordstrom in my opinion, does not have many options. I have been a few times within the 2.5 yrs I've been living in Ohio and I've only bought maybe one item. It's frustrating because I know people in other cities have way more options and receive better options to choose from. Other Nordstrom's also receive designer items that are on a great sale over the holidays. I'm not a big fan of this one as it just seems to be lacking in options. read more

Don't get me wrong, I love Columbus and there are plenty of places for me to spend my money on but Nordstrom Rack would be a fabulous addition and is one of the reason trips to Cincinatti are needed a few times a year. My main thing, jewelry, my two favorites Juicy Couture and betsey Johnson in a much larger selection than TJ Maxx for cheaper! What? Designer necklaces, earrings, bracelets for under $20, count me in, everytime!!! The shoes are not as high end as I would like so a quick glance to confirm there is nothing is enough for me, clothingwise the middle has some goodies for about the same price as TJ Maxx in a larger selection, Joe's, Paige, Hudson, J brand jeans and Juicy Sweatsuits at $20-$30 each have made me happy here, maybe it IS a good thing that this place isn't so close to home..... read more

Nordstrom Rack is one of my favorite stores for shopping for shoes or work clothes. I always leave with a name brand item that's over 50% off! Their shoes are by far the best thing about this store...They have a wide selection of brands for men's and women's shoes, athletic shoes, boots, and dress shoes. I have bought cute boots here in the winter (Tommy Hilfiger snow boots for $60!), and I recently picked up a pair of black flats for work (Nine West for $30!). My husband really likes their men's shoes, and he likes to get his athletic shoes here because they have Nike for a lot cheaper than the Nike store a few doors down. Their clothes are also great, but you have to dig. I always start in the clearance section because that is where you can get the big deals. I have found Marc Jacobs, Kate Spade, and Free People all on super sale (75% or more off). I also really like their winter coat selection. Their women's purses and home goods aren't that great. I think you can find better deals at the outlets. Parking sucks, but that's cause it's in Rookwood. Overall, a great place to shop, but expect to spend at least an hour and a half here digging! read more

There's Nordstrom, then there's TJ MAXX then there's Nordstrom Rack. Love Nordstrom, but there is probably not even a pencil I can afford in there. Hate TJ MAXX with a passion. Not I am not going to go dig through a giant pile of crap while other rapid women try to shove me. Enter Nordstrom Rack...the happiest place on earth. Ok maybe not the happiest, but sure close! I love everything about Nordstrom Rack. First of all it is super organized. Even the t shirt racks are all pressed and hung by color making it incredibly easy to see what you want, try it on and go. Also you can find some cray cray deals in here. I once got a Marc Jacobs dress for $32 originally $349. Insane in the membrane. Which leads me to my next point - designers. Calvin Klein and Marc Jacobs are my favorite and they usually have three or four racks of each. I love getting Kenneth Cole stuff for the bf here. Nice dress shirts and ties and reasonably priced and very good quality. And last but not least drumroll... they have an in-house tailor! Whut whut! For any of you that need to tailor off the rack, this place is a one-stop shop. For literally anything boots, hair products, leggings, dresses, coats this place has it all! read more

I love The Rack (as I call it) for shoes! I have purchased multiple pairs of shoes for myself here. The men's shoe selection is good and ranges from gym shoes to outdoor shoes to casual shoes to dress shoes. And it's all arranged by size so you don't spend time finding a shoe you like just to find out they don't have your size. If you see it, it's your size (as long as you're in the right section). The men's clothing selection doesn't impress me as much although I sometimes find something I like. They have a nice selection of socks, dress shirts, and ties. The casual wear section doesn't match with my style so much, but I will admit to being picky. However, when I do find something in the casual section I often find it for a good deal. Just recently found a lined sweater/jacket for $32 that was originally $125. Now, the problem is that it was marked as $70 but rung up at the register as $32. Sweet! They have a decent selection of jeans, however I rarely find my size and therefore have never purchased a pair. All the women's sections are much better than the men's. The shoe section is bigger with and carries sizes starting at 4 which my wife loves since she has a small foot. The only places she can even find shoes in her size are either Nordstrom or Nordstrom Rack. Then it goes all the way up to size 13. My wife rarely enters the store and doesn't leave with at least one pair of shoe. Plus they are from great designers and often heavily discounted. The women's clothing section is the largest section of the store and is always neat and well sorted. Racks are either arranged by style/designer or by size. This makes it easy to sort through and find items. Prices are always decent and are sometimes a steal if you find the right thing. The women's purse section isn't the greatest but often has a good deal if you spend a bit of time looking. My wife has found multiple of her favorite purses here for a good price from a great designer. If you like better designers than other discount stores and sometimes better prices then I suggest you check out The Rack. Be warned, just because it's discounted doesn't mean you won't spend a bunch of money. It adds up when you walk out with multiple pairs of shoes and multiple clothing items. But sometimes you hit the jackpot. read more

My mom and I were recently introduced to Nordstrom Rack when I went shopping with a friend to Nordstrom for the first time and loved the clothes I bought but wasn't too happy with the price. As bargain hunters, and people who usually thrift, my mom and I adore Norstrom Rack. It has everything we want and more--it has variety from formal dresses to jeans to casual to workout clothes to shoes at more than reasonable prices--and it's better quality than you find at most thrift stores! Sure it may be a little cluttered, but we've always found all the employees to be super friendly and the woman who is usually working the dressing room is always smiling, helpful and good if you need a second opinion! Sometimes the deals are great (I just bought 4 cardigans at $9.95 that I paid $40 for 1 at Nordstrom and they are the same brand/line/cut/etc!!!)and all of their prices are affordable. We've bought everything from jeans to formal dresses to weddings to shoes, shoes and more shoes! And if both my mother and myself can find things that are flattering, match our style and our price range--none of which are the same between the two of us--than I think most everyone could find what they are looking for here! read more

I think that I come here so often that the staff know me. But the selection is great and they even had a beautiful Bottega Veneta along with a Michael Kors collection crossbody. I've also found Judith Jack bangles. The inventory changes regularly too so you never know what treasure you will find. That's probably the best part too - the hunt is almost if not as great as the find! Hands down my favorite "discount/outlet" store for shoes! I started out looking for boots at DSW around the corner but I always leave there disappointed and empty-handed. I thought I would take a chance and drive over to the other side of Rookwood and ended up at Nordstrom Rack. I hate that when you walk in you usually see a long line of peope waiting to check out but push on! The shoe area is laid out kind of weird to me but if you are in the zone and ready to browse you can find really great items at a great price. On top of all of this, my cashier was super friendly! This was our first visit to Nordstrom Rack on a mass shopping spree day. Not only were we at TJ Maxx and SteinMart all in the same timeframe.... but good gravy the difference in the stores themselves are like night and day. First Nordstrom Rack is clean, well organized, well kept, actually has staff on the floor - bonus! I like how the store is organized it was easy to find stuff and I didn't feel like I was in a mosh pit like at some of the other stores. There are a ton of shoes in here-like a ton, so if you need shoes ladies- get in your car and get yourself on over to NR, like now, if you can't find a pair here, then you probably don't need a pair. I've heard the chatter about this store, but I just don't see it when I go in. It is dishevled and you're dealing with others customers who have that air of my sh!t doesn't stink in the hopes of finding a deal. I can't say I'm bowled over by the selection or other shoppers that I would walk in there before the other discount stores nearby. There is one guy on the registers who is extremely friendly and they will keep the shoe box for you (which you don't need for returns), which I find helpful so I don't have to recycle it. I really love the bargains here, and the ability to do the run-in-and-look (one of my favorite shopping modes) is extra-easy because of their great merchandising. Not only do they display the clothes by type and size, they go the extra mile and color-coordinate the clothes. I can literally hone in on a potential purchase several feet away, and by the time I am within touching-distance, grab it and go! Shopped here for the first time a few months ago, and I have been back a couple of times already! The first time, I was shopping for pajama bottoms. I am really picky about the waistband and the weight of the material. Yay! Score :o) Cute jammies with a little NY taxi cabs print all over. Of course I also had to roam the handbag and shoe departments. Had T. Burch flats on sale. Managed some self-control and did not purchase - though have had second thoughts since then. This place must really be a crapshoot, but I have had nothing but success on pretty much every trip I've been to Nordstrom Rack. It's one of my favorite new places to shop; cleaner and better selection than TJ Maxx, wide range of sizes and designers, EXCELLENT selection of shoes, and everything is sorted by color! I think maybe the trick is you actually have to be looking for something specific when you go. Every time I've just been browsing, I've never found anything, but when I go in looking for something specific (dress for a bachelorette party, shoes for a job interview), I've been overwhelmingly successful. As in, found exactly what I was looking for, and well within my price range. So yeah, I don't really have any advice for the naysayers, except to maybe give it a shot when you are looking for something specific? Nordstrom Rack is your source for great deals on designer styles. This store is located in the Rookwood shopping center, which features a variety of other stores to walk to on a nice day. The Nordstrom Rack itself is a mix of a variety of clothes, shoes, and accessories with inventories changing on a daily basis. The store is big enough that there is plenty to choose from, but it can feel very cramped in certain parts of the store. Be sure to check out the shoes first as this is the biggest source of congestion. The staff is helpful and wears bright green shirts. Quick tip - if you are ready to check out, the staff can use an iPhone to check you out in many different areas of the store. We were checked out on top of a random accessories table. This is certainly not uncommon. We would recommend that you come early as the store can get very busy during the day. Good luck and we hope you find a good deal! read more

Man..This place is awesome! Great way for the company to sell out of season wears and a great price for us folk who don't feel like we have to keep up with the Joneses! I have been here dozens of times and I always find something I can't leave the store without. This time it was a pair of Merrell hiking shoes, two dry-fit Nike shirts and a North Face jacket for whopping $250! This is better than outlet prices. Everything is organized pretty well and they have an amazing selection for business wear (especially ties) and men's shoes. The fact that there are so many name brands in one place for such discounted prices gets me every time! This is one of those places that could turn you into a label whore. Once you go Rack ...you cant go back! Except, you do go back. Over and over and over! Such a guilty pleasure but hey....we all deserve to treat ourselves! ..and who doesn't like to be nicely dressed?
