This had always been a more upscale TJ location, due to where it was located. I tended to find higher end things for a great discount here. Once I even found a great pair of Oakley Sunglasses! In more recent times, while this location is still nice, the higher end brand name selection has not been as great! The staff is always friendly and helpful. Unfortunately on this most recent visit the dressing rooms were still closed and I was not willing to buy the items I looked at without trying them on, so I oddly left empty handed. I love a good deal, and thus I generally enjoy coming to TJ Maxx. First, I really want to applaud TJ Maxx for the Covid precautions they have taken, it's great to see the dividers, markers on the ground for the line, etc. to make the guests feel more comfortable. This location (and others) I've notice always seem consistently understaffed. The long lines at the registers seem to be consistent. The staff have all been kind and polite, but I do wish they would more properly staff the checkout line. As always, selection is hit or miss, but it's worth it to catch a good find. TJ Maxx has always been a hit or miss store for me. If you are looking for a particular item, do not bank on getting it. Especially name brand jean sizes. If you are a gym rat, you will definitely find work out clothes at a great price. The store is spacious and organized. Everything is categorized and labeled, however I am not too impressed with the sale racks. Most clothes are tacky or out of style. There is never a wait for fitting rooms. Just recently I came in looking for a hat and was able to find one at a cheap price. This may sound weird and a lot of you may disagree with me, but I like Marshalls better. This location is okay. I wouldn't say it is bad. Maybe I need to go to the new location in Kenwood and check it out. read more

Deals, deals, deals. There's always something to scoop up, here. Plus, no men shop here so the men's bathroom is always immaculate. It's like they built it just for me. The men's sock selection is ridiculous. I love it. I have like 40 pairs of comfortable socks and 25 boxers, now, and paid like $25 total for them. If I didn't want to do laundry for a while and still have clean clothes, it would be TJ Maxx and Marshall's (their sister company) that I'd owe for it. They have interesting lamps, sometimes, which I am passionate about. Their pillow selection is always chock full of value. It's a great place to buy bedding as well. read more

Staff was rude to me; I didn't know I was supposed to wait to be called up to the register because there were no signs telling me so and the woman got very snippy with me for it. The woman running the register next to her even laughed at her rude comments to me. Made me feel bad. read more

So we were on a shopping spree on Saturday evening and first it was great to see the stores were busy! I was expecting to see this store in the same fashion as the Harper's Pointe location, meaning - looking nice, organized and enough staff. I had heard that this was a great location to shop at. I was disappointed on this shopping trip. The store was a mess, the racks of clothes looked like they had not been cleaned up/straightened up for days, the only staff we saw were at the registers. When I do shop at a TJ MAxx I will keep going to the Harper's Pointe location as it is much cleaner and much more organized. Hopefully, this was just a off weekend. read more

I was thinking about writing this review as a music venue for mid 90's hit music, but thought ultimately it would be a little misleading and the management might be upset with the crowd of late 20-somethings showing up in their smashmouth T's. Did you know you can also buy clothes!??!! TJ Maxx is kinda all over the place, but in a good way. In one stop I picked up professional meeting type stuff, classy going's outs stuff, dingy going's outs stuff, and some comfy staying's ins stuff. All of these things were, as their dueling price tags are sure to let you know, much much cheaper than you could get at the 'brand name' department stores. The clothes are packed on the racks with an intensity that a fast-food napkin-stuffer could appreciate, and the ambiance is fluorescent-and-vinyl-tile, but let's be honest, if you were looking for a couture experience you'd at least be on the OTHER side of the rookwood commons. If you're willing to pay just a little more than complete bargain-basement prices, you're likely to go home with whatever exactly it is you are looking for. And it's really hard to complain about that. read more

Name brands and great prices. Many retailers make such claims, but TJ Maxx consistently delivers. TJ Maxx carries extras and some house brands of clothing for all ages as well as a modest selection of discount home goods. Also a sneaky good section of the store is their large amount of luggage. A notoriously expensive item to purchase and rarely discounted at retailers in a meaningful way, TJ Max is a great spot. Things are organized by "type" and then size. Styles are wildly intermixed. For the men's, TJ Max has clothing that is both more and less trendy as well as sports and athletic ware. My best finds on Reds gear is definitely from TJ Maxx. Pricing is very aggressive. Often at half of MSRP. The house brands are more sketchy, but still generally good deals. Really nice prices on things that are rarely discounted like socks, Ts and undies. The store CAN be a bit messy as with any discounter. The cashiers at the Norwood location are generally very friendly and efficient. A recent upgrade to the shopping line seems more efficient too. The biggest negative at this location is the parking. Rookwood Commons simply does not have enough parking for the amount of people that want to go to the stores. Especially closer to the holidays at higher shopping times, it becomes a nightmare with literally no spots open. Getting out can be a pain, as well. Overall, Norwood TJ Maxx is a great spot of discounted, strong brand clothing. If you can go at a less busy time, your experience will be much more pleasant. read more

This is definitely one of the best locations in Cincinnati. They are always well stocked of everything - baby clothes and toys, womens, men, shoes, jewelry, home goods (and there is a Home Goods next door)... you name it - they have it - even fitness gear, luggage, and beauty supplies. You can get it all at this TJ's. Plus it's in a fantastic location with lots of other shopping and restaurants. I've ventured to other TJ's in the Cinci area and none compare to this one. I love this TJ Maxx, as well as the one downtown. It's the best place to buy sheets, they have the best Ralph Lauren sheets for a great price. They also have a great selection of name brand clothes for a discounted price. The location is perfect, Norwood is very central, and Rookwood is a great place to shop. The store is always clean, the women's and junior's section are well stocked, but the men's section is sort of lacking. It's not very big and they do not carry very much in the XXXL for men (my fiancee is 6'3, 210 lbs). I bought a lot of my step daughter's school clothes there and got her a lot of stuff for a great deal, spending a third of what I would have if I had went to the mall. read more
