Rude. No customer service and refuses to have more than 1 person on the register with 10 people in line

This is an odd store but I like it. The prices are great but if you're purchasing clothes, I highly recommend visiting the dressing room. You can't trust the size tags! I can't wear anything from a large to at least a 2x. Especially in scrubs. Speaking of scrubs, they have adorable patterns. You can find a little bit of everything here. Household goods, shoes, scrubs, clothes, purses, dog toys........... If you're looking for children's clothes, again, great prices- but again, don't trust the size tags. You're not going to find upscale clothing here but again, can't beat the prices. read more

Gabriel Brothers is another version of TJ Maxx in some sense. It's a discount clothing store that features overstock and defected merchandise from many brand named stores. The company is based in West Virginia and have populated their near-by states with these stores. The clothing is really hit or miss. I've found some really great items here for 10 dollars or less, but you really have to sift through a lot of crap to find it. They have a great selection of sleep wear and lingerie as well as bras and underwear. The sizes however tend to be limited. Often I find something I really like it it ends up being a XXXL and I get sad and give up. I love coming here for their housewares section. I've populated my kitchen with glassware, hand towels, soap, cutting boards, and accessories that I found here for super cheap. It's the best place to go to look for something for your kitchen. If they don't have it, check back because their stock is always changing. Beware of this location's credit card system however. I was there today and the system was down. A lot of customers left not getting to buy what they had selected. Luckily I had cash. They really should have made an announcement to the people shopping to let them know before they spend an hour picking out stuff for no reason. Gabe's - Women's Clothing Near Me - Cincinnati, Ohio

I went in tonight 20 minutes before they closed. the lady at the register was staring at me shaking her head as I'm walking in with my boyfriend and 1 year old daughter. Patsey was her name because the man at the register told me and she wasn't wearing a name tag or anything. As we walk through the door she said you have 20 minutes I said thank you, she then says I will be closing my register at 10. I said I know I heard you. she then proceeds 5 minutes later to start following us around the store and then she says I'm not trying to rush you guys but you have 5 more minutes. i said actually we have 15 we'll be up at the register before 10. she then starts screaming at me saying she's trying to get home to her family. I didn't choose Patseys job she chose it herself so if she's not at home with her family that's because she chose her schedule. what a disrespectful woman. she deserves everything bad in life that's coming her way. we got up to the register and of course pastry wasn't up there after being rude and disrespectful. the man at the register was so sweet and I feel bad he has to work with her. the store wasn't organized or clean either. this was my first time at this location and it will definitely be my last. A good friend recently introduced me to Gabriel Brothers - referred to lovingly by it's fans as "Gabe's". It's a discount store featuring oodles of clothes, home goods, accessories and more. Most of the items are run-of-the-mill, but sometimes you can score a few designer items. Recently, I purchased a Pierre Cardin luggage bag, originally priced at $180, marked down to an affordable $20. Gabriel Brothers is usually located in old run down plazas in older parts of town. This one is actually surrounded by newer buildings but their plaza is still old. Locations wise this is the best one I have been to in awhile. Their is actually some decent eating options nearby. I love Gabe's as I usually find athletic shorts, shoes, and dress shirts here for less than anywhere else. athletic shorts run around $5 for name brand. Good jeans can range from $10-20. Just make sure you look at the clothing because holes, zipper malfunctions, and stains can be present on the clothes. I found a pair of good running shoes for $45 while they cost at least $80 online and the original price says $120. You never know what one may find here. The store is clean and laid out very well. My daughter loved this place after being stuck in the car for the last 4 hours. she screamed and ran around. Sorry to the [eople we annoyed. read more

Dont expect this to be like Macy's...it's a discount store. You will have the typical scenes of parents screaming at kids, mullets, and the like. If you can deal with that, then you will be happy to find reasonably priced (cute) clothes. I love getting my son's clothes here, and I found 2 maxi dresses recently for $18/each instead of the $60+ most department stores are charging. read more

I worked at the Cincinnati location for about 9 months. It's definitely not the most organized place but they have a TON of cheap, cute clothes for Juniors, Women's, Plus sizes, Mens, Kids and even have home decor, Shoes, Cosmetics and accessories! Needless to say, I spent most of my paychecks there lol. You may find clothing with flaws in them and if you do and still want the item, take it to a manager or cashier and tell them. They'll give you at least 10% off. If you're looking for some inexpensive clothing, lingerie, etc definitely give Gabe's a shot! :) read more

Gabriel Brothers is what it is. If you are looking for a good deal in general, this is your place. However, if you are looking for something specific, you're better off going elsewhere. This has always been, for me, a "just browsing" type of store, not a place to go when I'm on a mission. It's organized by groups of products, but the organization within each group isn't so great. This store is usually a hit or miss, but I can sometimes find really awesome deals on my favorite brands (Express, Nike, etc...). Make sure to look over everything before you buy since some items may have holes, tears, or missing zippers. I find people to be just so damn rude these days. On every social sight, they should make the reviewer list their education level. Mine here was the greatest. I walked up eating a cheesecake cupcake I bought from the mall in Kenwood. Yes, I paid $4.00 for it in case you were pouting in your head. There was a little old lady outside who struck up a conversation with me. By the end, I saw every picture of her family, including her husband of 50 + years and her son who are both deceased. She told me her life history while she waited on her daughter. I cried and she cried. GOD put me there for a reason. I gave her my phone number and email. She promised to call. I hope she does. She is on dialysis. After getting myself together, I go inside and see good ol Trudy. My bestest friends daughter working at Gabes. I couldn't help but have my phone up for laughs. Of course the snots at the register, I don't understand why everyone has to be this way, started yapping at the mouth about what I was doing. Hahahaha! Wouldn't you like to know? I surely wasn't standing at the register shouting at the cashier over already low priced pool items. Unreal, but expected. Lastly, as I'm looking around while on the phone, it had to be known I was clearly joking, people just had a look of disgust. Normally, I wouldn't dare act out of place in public, but the courage the woman I met outside has more knowledge and dignity than half of the people in Anderson. I just wanted to say the service here was awesome. Products were awesome, and my cashier Tannah was beyond great. Turned out not to be Trudy after all. Gabriel Brothers is a discount store. All their products come from different companies they are either overstocks or damaged. Most price tags have marked down prices, marker on the tag or a line through the original price. Be cautious when purchasing because you may find a loose seam, broken zipper or a small hole somewhere. I personally love this store! You can find really good Brands such as Ecko, Ed Hardy, Smet, etc. Prices are super cheap and stock changes every week so there is always something new! read more

If you need D cup bras or above this is the place to go. Brand names, Bali, Warner, Fila, etc, under $10. I usually buy 5 or 6 bras in 38 DDD, because they have them! They usually have a good selection of brand name jeans, dresses and shoes, but this can be a little hit or miss. read more
