Visitation Rights: 1 Time Restroom: One unisex restroom to use. Location/Parking: Major cross streets are Huntington Dr. and S. 5th Ave.. This place use to be where Burgerim use to be. Parking can be found along S. 5th Ave.. Ambiance/Decor: Neat ambiance with modern furnishings through out the interior and exterior (outdoor patio) Entertainment: They have a backdrop that you can take selfies with. :) Service: Service was good. Sophia and Hawk was friendly, attentive, and offered a nice flavor suggestion. Food didn't take long to get ready. Wing Of Choice: I decided on the 4 piece Cambodian dirt chicken wings. The flavor reminded me of lemon pepper. The wings were moist, tender, and surprisingly not oily. Shlap Muan For THought: I wouldn't mind trying out their wings again. Perhaps next time I can try their garlic noodles also.

Delicious dirty Elvis wings and garlic noodles, with a stray wing of another flavor.

My brother had been raving about this restaurant, so I decided to try it out. I ordered dirty Elvis wings with the garlic noodles. Service was outstanding; you can tell it's an establishment owned by good people. The cashier did more than make conversation. He was genuinely interested in how we found him and our foodie goals. Separately, the restaurant ambiance was chill and modern. Lots or natural lighting and outdoor seating. More importantly, clean! I really enjoyed my meal and will certainly be back. Also want to add that presentation was top-notch for a wing joint. Loved it!

Fantastic wings spot with Cambodian flavors Parking is ample streetside, part of the luxury apartment rental complex on the ground floor. Service is quick and efficient. They have combo options of wings with different dry or wet rubs/flavors, along with sides. We got the 2-3 person combo (16 wings with two flavor choices, and a large side). We got their signature "Cambodian Dirt" which had a nice lemon flavored but complex flavor mixed with it that was unique and a standout. We also got their Sweet and Spicy Garlic wet rub which was fantastic- a little more expected/basic, but delicious. I'd have to say their garlic noodles are one of the best I've ever had, and couldn't wait to finish the generous portion given to us. Overall a great place to hang out or eat. Small indoor seating area and a nice large outdoor covered porch as well. Will be back!

At Shlap Muan, there are a variety of dry and wet Cambodian-style chicken wings. Spicy Cambodian Dirt: The chicken wings are dry rubbed with lemongrass and black pepper. The crystal-like seasonings give salty, citrusy, and tangy flavors. The skin is nice and crispy. The chicken is hot in temperature with very little spiciness. In this batch, the wings are actually slightly dry. They did hook me up with an extra wing, so I'm happy about that. Garlic Noodles: The garlic noodles are really good. They are slick, packed with savory and umami tones from the soy and garlic. Additional garnishes of crispy garlic bits, scallions, and cilantro adds to the overall deliciousness. Parking: There's plenty of street parking in front and across the street.

Been wanting to try this place and I'm so happy I got to try it!! Ambiance at the place was really nice, there is an outside and inside seating. Service was amazing, they were very accommodating. I asked for my food to go and asked if I could borrow there plate and they let us The food wings was CRAZY GOOD. Might be the best wings in the game?!! We got: Water buffalo - they fried chicken wings first and then put buffalo sauce on top so the wings would stay crispy. (Pro move) buffalo sauce was sooo good and I even dipped so of my wings on the sauce ;) 10/10 spicy Cambodian dirt - it's almost like a dry rub lemon pepper w lemon grass. This was really good specially w the lemon grass ranch! 10/10 orange habanero - this one was pretty good. I wish it was more spicy since it is a habanero. But you can definitely taste the orange which was good 9.5/10 dirty Elvis - this was like sticky soy. We believe that this is what Asian zing (BWW) wanted to be or Korean q (Wingstop) this is CRACK! 12/10 garlic noodles - this was pretty flavorful and easy to go with the wings 9/10 lemon grass ranch - 10/10 dip Would come back every time I'm craving wings

I've been wanting to try this place in Long Beach and am thrilled one popped up closer to me! We got the meal for 2-3 people which came with 16 wings and a large garlic noodle. We were recommended the Cambodian Dirt and Dirty Elvis. We also go their lemongrass ranch which tasted like honey mustard. Cambodian dirt 9/10: I'm not a huge lemon pepper fan but these were delicious! The tang and saltiness of the wings really complimented each other Dirty Elvis 8/10: The wings were sweet and tangy! Garlic noodles 9/10: Loved the texture of the noodles but wished there was more sauce. The worker was really friendly and the place was nice and clean. I will definitely be back to try their garlic wings.

Came on a weekend afternoon. It was easy to find parking on the street. Not sure if they have underground parking. Place was pretty empty with one or two tables occupied. Got the 4 wings for $6.50 and 8 wings for $12. We were able to get two flavors for the 8 wings. The flavors we chose were Cambodian Dirt, Spicy Cambodian Dirt, and Water Buffalo. The wings came out hot and crispy. The Cambodian Dirt had a good lemon, umami like flavor. The Spicy Cambodian Dirt was a slightly spicy version of the Cambodian Dirt. The Water Buffalo tasted cheesy and was really spicy. The sauce for the Water Buffalo tasted like nachos cheese. Good place to hang out and escape the heat. They had football playing on their big television.

We ordered the 2-3 Peep Combo, which comes with 16 wings and a large side. For the wings, we tried the Dirty Elvis, which was sweet, tangy, and spicy, and the Cambodian Dirt, a flavorful dry rub with lemongrass and pepper. The wings were juicy, tender, and packed with flavor! The garlic noodles were extra garlicky and delicious--perfect for garlic lovers. The portions were generous, and the customer service was great. Overall, a flavorful and satisfying meal!

We were looking for a place tonight and decided to try Shlap Muan.we ordered Meal Pack for 3-4 People for $46.00 - Garlic Noodle - Large - Dirty Elvis - Cambodian Dirt - Jalapeno MSG - order an extra Lemongrass Ranch for $3.00 Each flavor of the wings were really good. I especially liked the Cambodian Dirt. The Lemongrass Ranch was different in a good way. We also loved their garlic noodles. We also love that they have their own app, which made ordering really easy. We definitely pick this place over Wing Stop! Make sure to give them a try, you won't regret it!

3-4 Peeps Meal with Dirty Elvis, Pekang and Cambodian Dirt wings! Fries with Cambodian Dirt seasoning!

First fell in love with their wings at the Long Beach location, and am so incredibly grateful that they opened this much closer location so that we can appreciate the yumminess more frequently and really introduce our friends to the amazingness!! Dirty Elvis remains our absolute favorite, but the Pekang Wang and Sweet & Spicy Garlic are also pretty amazing!! This has also been such a lifesaver when our local brewery's food truck cancels last minute, or if we just weren't vibing with what was scheduled, as we required yummy sustenance to enjoy with our beers and play trivia! Especially with their app for ordering, which also lets you accumulate reward points for more yummy wings! Tried the fries here since that incredible shrimp wasn't available yet for their garlic noodles at this location, and they're delicious! Love that we can pick any of the dry rubs as seasoning for the fries if we opt for more than salt! Super cute and clean establishment! Love that there's a bathroom and water station here! Impeccably friendly, patient and attentive service!! Highly, highly recommend!

Parking: No parking lot available. Meal pack 2-3 peeps meal: Includes 16 wings, you can choose up to 2 flavors (1 premium flavor + 1 standard flavor), 1 large side: I chose the premium flavor (dirty elvis) and standard flavor (pekang). Dirty elvis was so savory and flavorful, sauce texture is stickier. My favorite flavor in the whole meal. Pekang had more of indomie ramen dry flavor. Interior: Clean interior seating, many chairs and table available inside and patio seating. SGV passport 2026: Peking sauce 4 wings, I chose the spicy Cambodian dirt which had a spicy lemongrass pepper flavor. Pretty good, but I liked the Pekang flavor better if you like sweet oyster flavor than lemongrass. 1 large side Garlic Noodle: garlic noodles was flavorful, whole dish itself was vegan friendly and paired great with/ without the wings.

2 Peeps Meal: Garlic noodles + Sweet Spicy Garlic Wings + Spicy Cambodian Dirt wings
Jeff C.

I liked it. I've tried their wings before at Smorgasburg and saw on IG they had opened a location in Monrovia. Simple interior with a few tables. There's also a patio area for additional seating. The wings are great! We got the Spicy Cambodian Dirt and Sweet Spicy Garlic wings. The spice is the lighter side. Fried perfectly with a nice crisp. The noodles were good. The 2-3 peeps meal is definitely more for 2 people, but maybe me and my friend are just low-key fatties lol. Will definitely be coming back to try more. Service was good. Friendly staff. Easy street parking.

I love Cambodian food! My girlfriend is Cambodian, and we really enjoy trying all the different wing flavors. We've been to their Long Beach location before, so we were super excited when they opened a spot closer to where we live. We love how affordable the menu is. We tried the Cambodian Dirt and Jalapeño MSG wings, and both flavors were absolutely delicious! The customer service was great, and they also have a nice outdoor area that makes it a great spot to hang out and eat. I really enjoyed how simple and focused the menu is. My only wish is that they offered papaya salad, it would pair perfectly with their own flavored wings! Don't wait, come check this wing spot out! This place easily tops most of the wing spots in the area. Definitely coming back!

There seems to only be one server so things can take some time but otherwise, the service is good! It's located in a small strip mall with relatively easy parking but some spots can be a bit tight. The interior is simple but definitely "mom and pop" vibes. We ordered Fried Ogo Squash, Paratha with Peas, and Tea Leaf Salad for starters and Prawn Curry and Gravy Rice as mains dishes. All the starters were delicious choices and, although the paratha was a little oily, it went super well with the peas and curry. The prawn curry was a flavor explosion with the prawns being perfectly cooked and the gravy rice was packed with veggies and a good amount of gravy. Some people in our party are vegetarian and everything besides the prawn curry were good choices for them. For desserts and drinks, we ordered RC Trio Delight, Smashed Strawberry Drink, and Rangoon Milk Tea. The RC Trio was a little on the sweet side but refreshing and the smashed strawberry was a delicious yogurt drink filled with strawberry. The Rangoon milk tea is delicious and a not too sweet option. 10/10 would recommend. Already thinking about the next time we come back.

It is more authentic compared to Burmese stores in San Francisco. Assorted fried: Wished the chick pea tofu was double fried to really bring the crispiness. The fried onions were so good, it was basically a sweet blooming onion. I also love that most of the fried food had a non-oily residue. Coconut noodle: Heavily inspired by their neighboring country, Thailand. I recommend to order this dish if you want a safe choice to eat a good sweet/savory noodle dish. Nan Gyi Thote: Dry noodle mixed with chick pea flour and savory chicken. The chicken is very flavorful and the noodles are bit thick like udon noodles. Spicy Fried Catfish: This dish is great, but there's a lot of bones. This dish isn't for ones who eat their food fast. It's actually popular more amongst parents that love seafood. Pretty similar to how the Vietnamese prepare their catfish.

We originally planned to go to another Malaysian spot down the road, but the wait was over an hour, and they didn't have the noodles I wanted. It's definitely a no-frills kind of place, but the food speaks for itself, really good, flavorful, and satisfying. Definitely more expensive than your street food in Malaysia but it's the best you can get for CA . One thing I would skip is the cendol. Singapore Laksa (6/10) - the curry was rather thin and lacking in flavor but maybe that's because it's intended to be more of a soup. I would've preferred rice on the side instead of rice noodles. Next time I would get the actual curry instead of this, but that is just personal preference Roti (8/10) - probably the best thing we had. It was simple but very delicious, flakey and decadent. The curry sauce was much thicker and paired along well, giving a sweet and mildly spicy flavor Nasi Campur (7/10) - the first bite was delicious, but gradually became more monotonous after each bite. I think the ratio of fried chicken thigh to the sausage and cha siu was slightly off, adding to the repetitive nature of the dish. Overall, it was still quite good

This time, I ordered through Uber Eats and got the beef rice, seafood udon soup, and pork spring rolls. In the notes, I specifically requested both the shrimp sauce and fish sauce for the spring rolls, but when my order arrived, I only received the fish sauce. I also requested basil for my soup and received no basil at all. What makes this even more frustrating is that this isn't the first time my requests have been ignored. Whenever I order the spring rolls, I usually request no cucumber, yet they still frequently come with cucumber. I understand mistakes happen, but when it keeps happening over and over again, it starts to feel like nobody is actually reading or paying attention to the order instructions. Another thing that really surprised me was how one of the egg rolls was packaged. They literally put the egg roll loose inside the Uber Eats paper bag without wrapping it or putting it in any type of container. I honestly found that extremely unprofessional and concerning from a cleanliness standpoint. Food should not just be thrown loose into the same paper bag used to transport the entire order. It's especially disappointing with a delivery order because I'm not physically at the restaurant where I can simply tell someone, "Hey, you forgot my sauce," or point out that something is wrong and have it corrected. By the time the food arrives, I'm stuck with an incomplete or incorrect order. I genuinely like the food here, which is why this is so frustrating. I want to continue supporting and enjoying this restaurant, but there needs to be more care and attention when preparing customers' orders, especially when specific requests are clearly written. Between missing items, repeatedly ignoring requests, and the way the egg roll was packaged, today's order was extremely disappointing.
