Someone needs to educate the owners on looking after their customers prior to service. 45 minute wait for a table and no seating whilst waiting. After 45 minutes taken upstairs to our table to find a huge open floor area with more space than tables. Hint put some tables in the wasted unused space and your wait times will be a lot less and you might stop the people from leaving rather than waiting. Dirty empty tables waiting to be cleared which would also cut down the wait. We have been here 2 hours had one drink and thankfully the appetizer was quick but still waiting for the table to be cleared and offered more drinks. Cant comment on the food because I am not sure its going to arrive before I leave. read more

My husband and I stopped here for dinner while on vacation in Egg Harbor. We checked Yelp for reviews for places to eat and it looked like all the good places we wanted to go to were already closed. So we took a chance and went here. Big mistake. I'm giving this place three stars but I'm really rating it 2 1/2 stars. I was originally going to order a hamburger because I thought you can't really screw that up, but then the pulled pork sandwich caught my eye. It had their homemade apple coleslaw on top. I asked the waitress if the pulled park was spicy and she said it had a bite to it. Wrong! It was completely bland and the coleslaw was mushy cabbage and had no apple flavor whatsoever. The pulled pork also tasted off, like there was something weird about it. My husband ordered a bacon hamburger. It was so-so. There was nothing special about it. It definitely wasn't worth $10.99. My sandwich wasn't worth $10.99 either. His burger came with potato salad that he said tasted like institutional food. I tasted it and it was very bland. My husband also ordered a flight of seven 3 oz. beers. He said he wasn't impressed by any of them. None of them really stood out as being special. The only thing I did like were the French fries. They were nice and crispy. The server was also nice. Other than that I can't recommend this place and suggest you try someplace else or you'll be disappointed. read more

The craft beers were not great but the soft pretzels were great. Outside seats is on a busy street. Parking can be a challenge.

The staff was friendly, as were the few other patrons (it's definitely the off season), but the food, not so inviting. The clam chowder was good, nice and thick; and the fried cod was good, also thick like I like. However, the shrimp pasta was not. My husband didn't eat his, because he straight out didn't like the flavor. The shrimp were delicious, but the pasta just tasted, um,...weird. I finished mine and threw it up a half hour later! So, I would suggestion to stick to the seafood. read more

Stopped here for a nice lunch and cocktails. Ordered the chicken drumsticks but we're so dry we didn't finish them all. I also ordered the Pretzel Burger and the bun was ice cold and burger meat was gross. I was craving a burger so bad and took one bite and had the waiter take it. I have NEVER not been able to eat a burger. The waiter was great and on top of everything the helped the experience. If you own a bar/restaurant you need to know how to make a good burger, it's easy. read more

The name describes our dinner experience. We r in town for extended holiday vacation.... went to dinner, I ordered Asian Salmon, unfortunately it was way overcooked and did not taste fresh at all. I only ate a few bites, even my husband wouldn't finish it after one bite. The local grocery store sells fresher salmon. On a positive note, the outdoor seating and location of the restaurant is great. The wait staff was pretty good too. If you go... I'd stick to the basics, burgers, salads, pretzel bites and fries. The drinks were pretty good too. read more

We were looking forward to our dinner at Shipwreck, however, when we arrived, the hostess rudely admonished us for not having appropriate face masks. There were only 2 other patrons in the restaurant at the time. Two of us had face masks and the other 2 had unofficial face coverings. All we wanted to do, was walk 15 ft. to a table, where there would be NO contact with anyone else! The hostess HARSHLY told us to leave! We will never set foot in this establishment again, and will make sure no one else we know will either!!! read more

Our party of four was promptly seated on the patio, requested a seat with an umbrella however got seated in direct sunlight no shade. After 20 minutes we finally received our menus and had our beverage order taken (all water). After waiting another 20 mins with water or server never returning we decided to leave. Unfortunate that service is so lackluster we couldn't place an order read more

Food was good. We had soft pretzels which were good and The Kracken which was delicious!! Cooked to perfection and pulled pork was tender and juicy. Did NOT appreciate that our server, Sebastian, closed out 2 tables AND cleaned them both before even greeting us. Not sure if it was just him or servers aren't trained well in serving and greeting customers. Once he did take our order he did come back to see if all was good - after we finished eating. read more

Stopped for a mid-afternoon light meal. Service was great this time - friendly and attentive. I've had the seafood chowder before and enjoyed it, so ordered it again - and once again, it was awesome! Maybe the best I've ever had. My wife had the grilled chicken sandwich, which I helper finish -- both thought it was great. Juicy filet, fresh bun, and the mustard really enhanced it. We try to time our schedule in Door County to include a Shipwrecked stop - great food! read more

We asked for a bigger table since the others were congested. As well as we had a dog with us. We weren't allowed to move to the table out of the way that wasn't in use. Wasn't pleased with service. read more

As you may have read from other Yelpers, this is not the Capital Grille. And no, their beers are not competing with the Potosis and Delafield Brewhaus' of the state. But this is the only brewpub in Wisconsin Wine Country and they do try to put out a good product. The host staff was very accommodating, though we had to flag someone down to find out which Jonas brother was our actual waiter. From there things got better and I would recommend that any beer lover give their sampler a try. You get seven small servings of different beers they are currently offering so you can see if there's anything here fit to take home in a bottle or growler. Don't come here if you're in a hurry, as you'll be disappointed in the speed of things as despite (or because of) the lack of positive reviews, the joint it typically hopping like a pogo stick. read more

I was a little disappointed in Shipwrecked. We started with the beer flight because we wanted to taste all the beers they offer. They come out in little plastic cups- not very impressive. The beers were just ok. We both enjoyed the cherry flavored beer the most. As far as food goes, we both wanted a burger but we decided to go with one burger and something else so we could share and try different things. We went with the Mac and cheese. We should have gotten two burgers. The mac just wasn't very good. It didn't even tasty cheesy. The burger was pretty tasty though. It had a cherry BBQ sauce on it that we really enjoyed. Service was good, but I'm not sure if it's worth a return trip. read more

We love this place. Stopped for dinner Friday night and enjoyed the great weather on the patio. They summer wheat was flowing along with some Smokehouse lemonade. Yum. Started off with some deep fried cheese curds. Can't go wrong there. The spicy ketchup like dip that comes with them is addictive. Also tried the artichoke dip. Between that and the little pita chips, all I can say is yum. They customized a dinner for me of Pete's green beans and a grilled chicken breast. It definitely hit the spot. Went back on Sunday to enjoy the breakfast they had the day of the Door County Triathlon. Joe's hot tots were fantastic along with the breakfast burritos. Seriously, who doesn't like deep fried potatoes. They changed their Bloody Mary recipe and it was one of the best I had in a long time. read more

This review would have had one star if it wasn't for the food which was okay, nothing too special. The problem here was the staff. Our server (Jack) acted like he did not like want to be there and it wasn't very welcoming... he did not ask us how we were doing once we got our food and he didn't even tell us his name when he greeted us! Not only that but he only gave a water to one of the people in our party while the rest of us sat with empty waters. The servers also stood around the bar and walked around lazily. It wasn't exactly what I was expecting considering this place has a lot of advertising and claims to be something they are not. It is not quality, I would recommend spending your money elsewhere. read more

I'm giving this 2 stars just because of the food being decent. A little over priced for the quality, as well as the drinks were VERY over priced for coming out in small plastic cup. However it wasn't terribly busy, and it took 10-15 minutes for someone to even come over to take our order. And then when they did, she (waitress, Michelle) seemed irritated that she was even having to do her job. Apps came before our drinks even did, and when we got our check (with another couple) they automatically assumed the bill was together. No big deal, but when we asked her to split it, she acted like it was a problem. So I'm not too sure if it was our waitress not wanting to do the job she was hired to do, or if the restaurant itself is not up to par after reopening. read more

The food was decent but the service was awful. We arrived at 5:20 and ordered shortly after. All three getting just sandwhiches. At about 6:05 we asked where our food was to the waiter and he said he wasn't sure and it was probably the kitchens fault. At 6:20 we asked for a manager and had to ask three more times until she came up. Our food finally came at 6:30 and the manager was insanely rude to us. She said he put the order in 30 minutes ago and chicken takes the longest to cook even though he ordered way before that. She was super unkind to us and gave us a whole 4 dollars off our meal. read more

The restaurant's slogan is "I got wrecked at shipwrecked!" I need to preface this review with admitting that I was already "wrecked" prior to heading to Shipwrecked, because my visit was preceded by two winery tours and a lot of wine "tasting". Nevertheless, the experience was a good one. We went to the bar, ordered MORE drinks, and made what was possibly the best culinary decision of our trip to that point. That decision, friends, was poutine. "What's poutine?", my sweet husband slurred as we perused the menu. To answer his question, poutine is a Canadian food that consists primarily of french fries topped with pulled pork, gravy, and deep-friend cheese curds. It's horrible for your health, but heaven for your tastebuds. Upon partaking on the heavenly poutine, my husband remarked, "This is the most American thing with a French name." God Bless the USA. (and Canada). read more

Started off the evening with their lemonade cocktail with cherry vodka, and it was delicious! Our table ordered the soft pretzel for an appetizer, and it came to us hot off the press. A seriously good pretzel with yummy cheese dip! The main courses for my table consisted of the Red Beard Rueben, the Chipotle Black Bean Burger, and the Carolina Pulled Pork. The rueben was awesome - not too much meat, but enough for a hearty sandwich and delicious pumpernickel bread! The pulled pork was incredibly savory and tasty. The bun it comes on was absolutely amazing! The black bean burger was very average, but the homemade chips made up for it! Giving Shipwrecked four stars because there's always room to improve :) read more

Second visit and still think it is just ok. My husband got a flight of beer and said they were not bad but not great. We shared the chicken tenders and they were very good. We came here last year, a few weeks prior to the fire and absolutely loved it. We were so excited to see that they were rebuilding the restaurant, and would be open for my birthday trip this year so we could come back again. While other reviews have mentioned a long wait or unfriendly staff, we experienced none of that. Our server was prompt and polite with every interaction. We will absolutely be back again the next time we're in the area. read more

Excellent brews and the food is delish. My husband and I visited there a few days ago. The staff was very friendly with fast service. Normally, it's so hard, as a vegetarian, for me to find vegetarian options on any menu near us. But I was pleasantly surprised to find several veggie options at Shipwrecked. I ordered the Chipotle Black Bean burger. It was glazed with a yummy chipotle aioli sauce and the lightly toasted tomato herb focaccia bun was delish. I ordered coleslaw to go with it, and the dressing was unique, less creamy than expected but light and refreshing, which I appreciated. My hubby ordered the Carolina Pulled Pork sandwich. It was a house-smoked pulled pork sandwich, which he said was very moist and he loved the tangy cherry barbecue sauce. I would highly recommend this brewery/restaurant. As for the beers... ohhhh yeahhhh! Thumbs up here, too. They were all flavorful and thirst-quenching, true to the styles and had good balance of the desired characteristics. My favorite was the Door County Cherry Wheat. I was happy to discover that it was not overly sweet as some fruit and wheat beers can. Yummers! My hubby especially enjoyed the Midship Milk Stout with creamy body and chocolate and coffee tones. The Bayside Blonde Ale was light and crisp and not overly hopped. Very drinkable with almost any entreé. One last thing... The location, overlooking the water in Egg Harbor, and the antiquey-nautical decorations inside added to the full enjoyment of our outing. We will definitely be back! read more

I sincerely miss the creaky floors of the old building. Unlike other rebuild efforts in Norther Door, this one sought to maintain the character of the original. Scuttling the B&B upstairs, Shipwrecked chose to devote every square inch to their brew pub mission. I went on a busy summer Friday evening. As with any restaurant on the peninsula, the kitchen was a little slow. But the quality of the food, beverages and service otherwise was phenomenal. Is it possible that from the ashes arose something better than the original? The new Shipwrecked has achieved the status of being my favorite Egg Harbor restaurant where the old Shipwrecked never held that title. read more

The food was amazing, the servings large, and the prices reasonable. Amazing view from the top floor over the lake. I had the pan-fried perch and soon as I finished it I wanted to come back another time for more. The side dish of vegetables was good. They had a stir fry sauce that may or may not appeal to everyone. Even though Covid was going on and everywhere was short on staff we were seated right away, served within a small amount of time, and had delicious food appear in a reasonable amount of time. Our server was friendly, helpful, and all of the servers had masks on. There is a public parking lot not far away. There is a lovely park to enjoy across the street, and fun stores right on the same street. read more

Decent food, good beer with a great view at tourist prices. Got into town late and needed a bite at 9 pm. First impression was that it's a kitschy family place but it didn't disappoint. Shipwreck was not too busy and we got a table right away. They have excellent brews. Their Porter is especially excellent. Malty with just a slight bitterness. Dinner was great too. My wife enjoyed a spinach salad with apples, pecans, chicken and a cherry vinaigrette. She lived the combination! I had the brisket sandwich with a giant pile of homemade kettle chips. Their brisket was tender, with good seasoning. It came with melted Swiss and peppers and onions. The sandwich could have been better with a toasted bun/hoagie roll and maybe some sort of sauce. Still an decent meal, later at night. Total bill for two entrees and two beers was $40. read more

Rude! We walked in and were asked to put masks on. Two in our group didn't have a mask with so they were asked to purchase a mask for $1. No big deal.
