Ok, so I first set out to refute an earlier 1 star review and I will. 2 min to be seated, one minute to get water and order cheese curd appetizer. 5 minutes to get a beer. So speed is not an issue unless you are used to Mickey D's. The first beer was a very lite Helles Lager, think Ultra. Not authentic. The second was an American IPA. Very nice. Entrees were of no comparison to what we have had all week in Door County, this a 3 star final. read more

First time here and wondered how it would go considering previous reviews and Covid restrictions. We came at 6 on a Tuesday and it was busy. Service was good; drinks came fast. Server was busy but cheerful and did a good job. Good job Simona! I had the Smokehouse Meatloaf mentioned by another reviewer which was amazing, but a little dry. Loved it with the cherry bbq sauce. Others had the chicken wraps which were good too. Topped it off with Cherry Berry Cobbler - yum. All with a beautiful view of the lake. Only thing I did not like was the lack of spaced out tables for Covid. Hope to be back. read more

We had Shipwrecked on our itinerary, so we were excited to stop in. I had the home brewed a Cherry Wheat and Blonde. Both were fantastic. My girlfriend had Smokehouse Lemonade(pink lemonade) and it was dangerously good if you're a pink lemonade fan. I had the Sailors Plate, which is mashed baby reds, cobette of corn, Cherry BBQ pulled pork and brisket. The potatoes were very creamy but had texture. The pulled pork with the BBQ sauce was very pleasing. The brisket was thick but fork tender and very juicy with a great flavor. Brisket doesn't have sauce but the flavor was great. read more

Shipwrecked Brew Pub - Shipwrecked Cherry Wheat and Smokehouse Lemonade - American Near Me - Egg Harbor, Wisconsin

We ambled in around 3:30 and took a place at the bar. Lorie was our bartender and consummate hostess. Had a couple cocktails and pumpkin beer ( the best! Have it if you are lucky enough to be there when it's in season) we stayed for the meatloaf (highly recommended) and the mahi-mahi Asian style! Really good food and great service- thanks Lorie! Took a 2-pint can of the pumpkin to go! read more

Good not great; long waits in summer often; overpriced pub food but you're paying for the location. Helpful servers, many beer choices, tough place for wine drinkers as selection is limited. read more

The wait for a table on Saturday night was very short, and maybe that should have been a clue for us. Our waiter was nice, and I could tell he was trying his best. There were several mistakes in our order, watery drinks, and no efforts to make the situation better. The food was just okay. The building itself was nice. I just hope they do their best to make improvements in the future. read more

We are on a beer brewery tour with great friends! Laura (server of the week) and Carmen are the BEST SERVERS EVER!!! Door County cherry wheat is a great beer and cherry mimosa is the bomb! They even have wine slush! A mom's dream come true! read more

We ordered takeout June 2021 & were extremely disappointed! We've been going to Shipwreck for over 20+ years. This was the worst meal we've had at a restaurant & was not edible. We ordered the beef tips in mushroom sauce & the meat was so dry & overcooked. We threw it out, if we were in the restaurant we would have sent it back. I emailed twice on their website & have gotten no response. We will not recommend or return. read more

We are in Egg Harbor for two nights with our son and his two friends. We chose Shipwrecked last night because it was cold and rainy and it was close by. Horrible idea. We should have known when we first checked in and the hostess sent us up the stairs and said "wait at the top of the stairs for me" after waiting at her stand for five mins without acknowledgement. Just a bizarre greeting. The menu was limited, and the food took FOREVER to arrive. When it did, the pork chops were so dry, the whitefish literally looked dehydrated and tasted even worse. We spent $200 on a dinner that was barely edible. We didn't even have the opportunity to share that with the server because he literally never asked how it was. Beware of this dining experience. We left completely disappointed, unfulfilled and exhausted after wasting so much time sitting and waiting. read more

We were excited to eat at this place. Nice atmosphere, good location. We waited 30min to sit down. When we finally sat down and got our food it was terrible. I got a burger with a stale bun. Fries that we burnt and all crispy. My friends that also order food complained about the fries their food was also not very good. Very disappointed especially because we were looking forward to it. read more

A one star review is quite generous; the service is totally inattentive, the decor is standard, and the food is barely passable. Being from Wisconsin, I have certain expectations of cheese curds and other common fare. Whether it be fish, BBQ, or even burgers I question if this place is simply reheating frozen food. I ordered Mahi-mahi and I'd bet my life savings it was previously store bought frozen food. My daughters cod was clearly a Long John Silvers meal. Avoid this place with its reheated frozen food and awful service at all costs. read more

We ate twice in one weekend because we enjoyed the service and food so much. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We got our food quickly and were very pleased with what we ordered. I recommend the Reuben sandwich and cheese hash browns. read more

Food was average, but still delicious. Your typical bar and grill. Atmosphere had bar and tvs and features two levels of seating. Service was good, but food did not wow me. Not bad. read more

I saw they only had 3 stars but decided to give it a try and decide for myself. I was pleasantly surprised. I mean prices were average and food was good, not too big or portions, which is good because in that location people are often out of towners not needed leftovers. My only complaint would be the buns on the sandwiches/burgers are odd. There between hard and soft, I'd switch bun types but otherwise delicious! read more

Everything that we ate there was fantastic. Good luck finding a "favorite" dish there because they are all so good. Excellent presentation, flavor, and speed. The staff is very service-oriented and always do a great job. You won't be disappointed. read more

I have a serious medical condition that prevents me from wearing a mask. The hostess was rude even when I tried to explain why I could not wear one and simply asked if they could let me come on the outdoor dinning without walking through the restaurant. I was told no and I could find somewhere else to eat. This place will never receive my family or friends business. Hostess use empathy and common sense. Rude is not even harsh enough of a word to describe her read more

Competently prepared seafood in a beautiful setting with gorgeous sunset view over Green Bay. Even though we were a group of ten with three kids under seven, our server Ethan was attentive and personable and brought our food and drinks in less than 20 minutes. And we were there peak time. I've read some of the negative reviews here but decided to give them a try, glad we did. read more

Service was good and sitting on the patio was nice. I had the seafood chowder. The broth was good but the imitation krab and salad shrimp were disappointing. If they knocked it up a couple of dollars and used real crab/regular shrimp this would be really good. read more

This place has the PERFECT NAME, because it is a complete wreck! Where do you start? Rude and lazy staff, worst food ever and over priced! We waited 50 minutes for cold Mac and Cheese and the WORST dry ribs ever. We saw several other full uneaten plates as we left. PLEASE, do yourself a favor and go to the many other choices in Egg Harbor. Such a prime location serving prime dog food... and with a bad attitude! Stay away! read more

This is my first time visiting egg harbor and took my sister out for some apps. Our waiter was great, but all other staff were rude. The hosts made it seem like we were interrupting them and if we are a problem for requesting outside. The bartender screamed at another crew member which was completely unprofessional. Right in front of everyone. And I mean she was loud. Don't recommend others to come here. Spend money somewhere that's worth it. read more

Last time we were in Door County we were bummed that we didn't get to stop at Shipwrecked since our family is all about breweries. This time around we stopped in for a quick bite and had a pretty pleasant experience overall. My mom had a salad with cherries in it that was pretty delicious and we ordered cheese curds that were not my favorite, but quickly disappeared into our mouths. I wasn't a huge fan of their ketchup sauce that goes with the curds but to each their own. I think that I just had a house salad or something less exciting than my mom which was good but nothing to write home about. We tried a few beers and of them all, the cherry wheat was my favorite by far. I don't love wheat beers at all but I had two, so that says a lot. Our meals came fast the waitresses were quick to refill water when we needed it (it was hot! and we were outdoors). This seems like a good place to bring groups as they have a gigantic upstairs area with long tables so we will keep that in mind for our next big family trip. read more

Liked the food choices, sat on first floor inside, server recommended meatloaf, was a very good choice, only thing that would have made it better would have been brown gravy, came with cherry liquid on the side, which for some reason was a little too spicy. Washrooms on second floor, little strange and with elevator slow to get there. read more

We did not even make it in the door. We were parking our bicycles and some guy burst out the front door and said" I cant have you putting those bikes there, put them over there" He seemed angry, I told him I am not eating here and we left. He could have been much nicer about it . We went across the street to the Mezzanine and ad a nice meal with a friendly staff. read more

A place called shipwrecked should have lots fish or at least seafood on the menu. Out of perch and the rest of the menu was completely confused from andouille mac & beer cheese to rubens to tuscan chicken to brat burgers. NO LOCAL FISH - Tilapia, cod & salmon. read more

Beautiful building, really is a gorgeous brewery. Very crunchy granola atmosphere however. The dingbat behind the bar, give me a break. I wasn't up for a craft brew for dietary reasons so asked for an American brand pilsner with a glass - oh the shame. She made sure to give me some dainty non-12 oz glass so I made a point for my 2nd beer to ask for a pint glass that would hold a full bottle of beer. The music overhead was horrible, again, crunchy granola, all feelings & stuff, heard a song that talked about finding a vaccination for the corona. I'll be sure to come up here when I get my period next in case I'm all PMS-y and stuff. read more

Hmmmm....I felt like we had to stop by the 'only microbrewery' in Door County, and we did. I didn't particularly like it. It smelled like in an hospital, and that was enough to turn me off for the rest of my visit. And the beers didn't make up for it. An institution, I guess but one I could easily do without. read more

This place used to be so good. Has really gone downhill. Menu has been scaled down to nothing. We ordered the pulled pork sandwich which was ice cold. Also the pretzel bun on my husband's sandwich was stale as was the ciabatta bun on my sandwich. Chicken was rubbery. Do not recommend read more

I can't really complain about anything. The food was (as many others have said) standard pub fare, but it's done pretty well. The outdoor seating area is nice, but you are at a relatively busy intersection, so there could be a lot of traffic noise outside. We made it a point to come here to try the beers, as it is the only microbrewery in Door County, and there were a couple of good ones (Bayside Blonde and the Cherry Wheat), but most of them were just so-so. I think they'd do better if they made fewer varietals and concentrated on making them better. Overall, I had a pretty good experience here, but I don't know that I'll make it a point to come back. read more

Sorry, I was really hoping to like this place and perhaps my poor experience here is due to we visited during the off season, but as you'll see, some of my experience was simply uncalled for. The location = 3 Stars. This place is easy to spot and there is plenty of parking around. The town is small, so you can have a nice stroll either before our after your meal if desired. I also like the history of the place, although they don't really mentioned any of it inside the restaurant itself. The Decor = 3 Stars. It's okay, nothing great, but certainly not cruddy. The place is very clean and plenty of room to maneuver about. The Food = 4 Stars. Okay, we kept it hamburgers, but nonetheless they were really good. The meat is of good quality, as were the condiments and the rolls were fresh. The Micro-Brews = 2 Stars. We first went with the plank. This is a option which gives you a few ounces of several beers they make there. The trouble is, out of the seven or so beers, only one, maybe two were really any good. To the point where I ended up order ice-tea instead. The service = 0 Stars. Yea, I know, Yelp does not have a zero star option, but in this case I'll make an exception. As mentioned, we were here during the off season, and at the time of our visit, there were very few people in the restaurant area. To the point where you pretty much could sit anywhere you please. There were plenty of wait staff as well, so clearly they were not understaffed for the number of customers they had and in fact I'd say they were over staffed. Regardless, it took our waitress over 10 minutes to even come to our table and even then it came across as a bit bother. Then, when she served the plank of beers and walked off, one of the cups accidentally spilled over. I sent over to where she was at and mentioned to her that a drink spilled... she went off into the kitchen to get some towels meanwhile my wife and I started soaking up what we could with the napkins and paper place mats, and then she came over with a towel. I was shocked when she handed me the towel, said nothing, and then walked off leaving me to clean it up. I was shocked at such blatant poor service. This event probably, negatively overshadowed our entire experience, but it's probably a safe bet we will not be back. Not when there are a host of other places to try out! read more

I was surprised with my experience considering many didn't like it. I dined outdoors and had the pulled pork sandwich and seafood chowder. The chowder was really good even though I'm not a chowder fan. I was a little turned off my the artificial crab meat but it was still good. They had the kind of fries I really like too. The sandwich was pretty good and the bun was nice. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. I'd highly recommend it. read more

Just look at the place, then tell me, what did you expect? It's a little "brewpub" in a tiny town with a population which I doubt exceeds 1000. For those looking for a gourmet meal in Egg harbor, go to Trio, but otherwise, you should know what you're getting into right off the bat. I had a burger, fries, and I "walked the plank", meaning had a flight of their in-house beer selection. The burger was a burger. Fries were just fine. Their house made BBQ sauce was really good, and I'm definitely not a BBQ kind of person. I would've even bought some to bring home had I the option. Beer wasn't awesome, but again, I wasn't expecting awesome. What I did very much appreciate was the super friendly staff. I can just imagine some self-important crabby urban-dwellers judging the staff and making accusations of fake friendliness, but turns out, some people in the world really are genuinely happy and just that nice. I'd probably be a lot less embittered about working in the service industry if my place of employment was in a "village" on the peninsula between Green Bay and Lake Michigan too. So, yup. Fine place, nothing to love, nothing to hate. read more

Known for it's ghosts, ties to Italian mobsters, and wonderful micro-brews, you can't help but stop in here. My favorite micro-brew is their Cherry Wheat, and for those of you who don't drink beer they also offer a variety of Door County wines from the local Door County Peninsula winery. The food is OK nothing too spectacular, but if you're looking for a good time, you'll certainly find it here! read more

I love this place! Last time I visited Door County, we went to Shipwrecked twice. The place is fun, the people are awesome and the food it great! (I tried their beers, they were alright.) Do yourself a favor: order the Seafood Chowder. Trust me, you won't be sorry. read more

Awful food!!!!! Our waiter was super sweet and in a round about way tried to warn us how bad the food was. We didn't listen, and are now out 60 bucks. I usually don't take the time to write reviews of restaurants, but I feel that this one is important. This restaurant is NOT what I was expecting. There was a lot of hype about this restaurant last year, so we decided to eat dinner there tonight. This is nothing more than a lunch burger joint. Upon arrival we were told that it would be a 30 minute wait (with open tables in the bar area). We were seated at 25 minutes. It took the waitress another 10 minutes to come get our drink order. About 30 minutes after we received our drinks, the waitress comes over to say that the kitchen was just then getting orders out that were ordered 25 minutes previously (by this time I am way under-impressed). I tell the waitress to check on our order because I was not going to wait another 30 minutes for my food. Lo' and behold, she comes back to the table with our order. The food is mediocre at best. I can get the same chicken tenders at Culver's for 1/2 the price. The tenders were supposed to be waffle battered -- NOT SO! I feel the food is not worth the price and if you are looking to have 'dinner' you would be better off else where. read more

Go for the beer. The hot wings tasted like spicy smoked bbq, not too great. The ribs were meatless and not cooked well. The sour cream and garlic mashed potatoes were good. The perch looked it came from the grocery store. I wouldn't go back, maybe for the beer. Way over priced for what you get. Service was OK. read more
