Drive through Do-Nuts! Yes please!! I didn't get drive through when I came but it's a good idea! I need to see what I'm working with and the variety so I came into the most amazing smelling store on earth, and chose 6 assorted donuts. Great pricing for what I got, little expensive if you wanted something more. I got a few filled and a few not filled. They were nice but I found them a little heavy and the glaze a bit too sweet. I did appreciate the cinnamon sugar donut, reminded me of home. Most places just have sugar for their plain ones, never understood that but then again, what's normal for me is not the American style. Whhyyyyyyy?!??!? The past few times I have gotten donuts they are stale (day olds) and the kolache's are NOTHING like they are in Texas. They are old, dry, and burnt garbage! Please fix this Store before it goes out of business. read more

Clearly, this place would be 100 times better if we came at a peak morning hour, but unfortunately we came at about 5 in the early evening and the selection was pretty limited. There were literally just a small handful of unique doughnuts which kind of took the excitement out of visiting a big doughnut shop. The doughnuts were also cold and tasted old, but what we did have was unique and showed the potential of the place. The gentleman that helped us was great and even acknowledged that because it was later in the day the selection wasn't that great and they had "Happy Hour" prices on their baked items. Yum yum yum. So glad I found this this place. I frequent Cherry Creek Dog Park with my huskies and this is my usual treat for the outing. Donuts are great, coffee is good enough and employees are super friendly. My only knocks for the star is the fruit fillings are kind of meh, maybe just need to be less sweet or more real fruit flavor/acidity. Also, the insanely good chocolate donut filled with cream was the best thing ever the first time I got it, and the second time I was heartbroken to find it maybe half as full as the first time. Just a heads up. I visited this morning through drive through. Young man with longish, curly hair served me. I smiled and said good morning. He didn't reciprocate the greeting and that's okay. Customer service has declined across the board so live with it. But what was interesting is that, while he didn't smile at all initially, he returned with all smiles and my order. After driving a ways down Parker Road, I noticed that the other end of the box lid was wet. Kinda gross, but whatever. So I check the food. The apple fritter is rock hard all over and the 2 maple donuts were not like any others I've ever had from your store. If you had day-old donuts, that would be them. There was also an abstract shaped thick, wet spot on the inside of the lid. The kolaches seemed okay other than definitely being heated for too long. Why didn't I go back? We are from Texas moved here in 2014. Texas is where Shipley comes from. We ate there often and for over 45 years. They were always the best. When we found out Shipley's was on Colorado we drove over a hour to get a fix! We spent over $70 dollars. The staff was terribly nice. But after driving home and opening the three boxes we were very disappointed the sausage cheese Kolachs were split open, some of the plain sausage were split open. The sizes of the Kolachs were all over the place ranging from medium to large some very small. While we want to really support this Shipley's to make sure it stays and more are built, we are reconsidering the two hour round trip each week we planned with a minimum purchase of at least $60 dollars that would have been $240 a month over $3000 dollars a year or more. This issue has to be addressed and fixed. I expect to hear from the owners with an offer to replace our order with the proper product. I look forward to changing my rating with a good report. The flavors are there but presentation is really horrible and not at all appetizing. At $24.99 a dozen these need to reflex the Heritage Shipley's comes from. I know that Colorado is a food wasteland and food standards are very low here, raise the bar and be a pace setter. It worked flawlessly ever time, Do-Nuts were always out of this world. We had people driving up to 2 hours one way to get our donuts. I'm not sure what's happening at Shipleys here in Colorado. Free fall - only way to describe the experience. Went there regularly when it first opened. The owner/manager (guy with a beard) was wonderful - friendly and efficient. Got the same thing every time - vanilla iced creme filled donut. Very fresh and filled to the point of bursting. Been back three times since pandemic started. I stopped by Shipley's this morning (Father's Day) to grab some donuts at Parker Rd. Three teen cashiers were there, but the tall, curly girl's loud laughter and yelling made it difficult for me to hear what any of them were saying, causing me to have a hard time placing my order to go. She was screaming so loudly that it startled me and the other cashier. However, none of her colleagues said anything to her. Manager was not there either. Suddenly, she started hitting the cashier table, screaming and jumping. After that she started singing. It felt as though I were in a madhouse. Dear HR and Management Team, can you please teach your teen cashiers proper manners, especially if their parents failed to do so. Good donut shop with a wide variety of these delicious treats. I always get their "bold jalapeno cheese kolache", essentially a savory hotdog with cheese and chopped jalapenos baked up in a bread dough roll. Shipley's is reliably good. read more

I am very picky with my donuts and a big fan of kolaches. Definitely a place to go if you like those two. The chocolate donut has a real chocolate taste not just sweet tasting pastry. The kolaches are excellent especially the sausage and cheese. Get the big earl for more meat. read more

Finally! I don't have to drive 800 miles for a fix! First off, everyone here is as nice as you could hope for. It's busy, but they try and move you quickly. Quality and freshness is on par and I'm ecstatic to have them here. Yum! Don't miss the kolaches, but get there early. The coffee is some of my favorite - it's light but smooth and not bitter like Starbucks. Doesn't need a thing in it to be delicious. Very Good! Never had a Kolache before but my husband is SUPER excited to try them all, guess one is in my future. Came in first thing in the morning by myself, got a raspberry filled do-nut with a 2% milk, cause I can't have a do-nut without milk. I was pleasantly surprised, it was very good. Fresh, soft donuts. Tucked in the shopping center of Bed Bath and Beyond, Chick-Fil-a, Petsmart, across from WM at Chambers/Parker, opens at 5am! Ordered the sausage/cheese/jalapeno kolaches and 1/2 dozen donuts. Prices are beyond reasonable. 1/2 dozen mixed was $5.89 and the kolaches were $2.49 each. Inside is clean and there is a drive-thru. Above average do-nut shop. Huge variety of doughnuts and friendly staff. Arrived here early one morning and was greeted by the staff who promptly helped me with my order. The doughnuts reasonably priced and were tasty for the most part, but had a little to much frosting on a few of them. Not a big deal but I think it took away from the overall taste. First off the donuts that they did actually have available were delicious. However, they have trays and trays of less popular flavors at closing time; but the popular flavors run out at 9 am? Wouldn't it make sense to make more donuts in the popular flavors vs. throwing away flavors that don't sell? Just an observation.
