    Russet Pizza(GF version)

Tried the gluten-free Russet pizza at Shin Dig and it was so good. The crust was crispy with a soft inside, which is rare for GF. The potato topping had great flavor, with the perfect mix of creamy, savory, and slightly crispy goodness. Everything just worked. Even if you're not gluten-free, you wouldn't feel like you're missing out. I'll definitely be ordering this again.

So glad the Devour Indy schedule was extended so we could finally try this spot out! It's a large establishment, with plenty of parking and ample sitting inside & out. They also have a pretty huge bar area as well. I was happy to notice that they offer games and coloring pages for children and adults to utilize while waiting for their food (instead of a screen), our server was nice, my food was alright and my drink hit the spot!

I came here with some friends to take advantage of Devour Indy and check out another Cunningham Group restaurant. The space is huge with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The bar area is also huge and can easily seat 40 people. Also, close to the entrance, there is a long table fill with games and coloring items for kids....well and adults to enjoy. I first sat at the bar while I waited for my group. The bartender was lovely and helped me order a delicious new beer. I moved to a table with my group. I had the Hummus+Veggies: the hummus was borderline too salty but the Focaccia bread was amazing...fluffy and warm. I also had the Woodstock pizza: it was really good but warning the goat cheese is prominent. Overall the service was good, there were a few mistakes made on the food orders but I feel they made up for it by making an item complimentary. I would love to come back here in the warmer months and dine outside.

Great for parties! Did you know you can make a reservation online for over 10+ people? Unheard of! It was so convenient to come across that as I was planning a dinner party for my fiance. I truly love this place. Great food, great vibes, and great staff! Don't miss the breadsticks. Plus, major kudos to them for scoring a spot on Yelp's 2025 list of top places to eat!

My husband and I stopped in here on a late Sunday afternoon/early evening for dinner and the restaurant wasn't very busy, so we were excited to get our dinner in before the rush. Unfortunately, our server was very, very slow and we didn't get to order until after several huge groups of people came in for dinner because she didn't come back to our table for 20 minutes after taking our drink orders. We also thought it was weird that it took so long for 2 draft beers to come out, but once we put in our food order we did receive that pretty quickly. We each ordered one of the 2 smash burgers on the menu and fries, and while they were tasty, we both felt that they were too thick to be true smash burgers. The pickles that came on the side were personally not for me (sweet and spicy and I prefer dill), but my husband absolutely loved them and ate all of both of ours. I had really wanted a milkshake and thought that they would have them on the menu due to their all-American/family diner vibe they have going on, but they only sell scoops of ice cream, so we looked up a nearby ice cream spot to stop at on the way home. Getting the bill took quite some time, but other than the slow service it was a nice spot for dinner. We loved the bar set up, that they have a big craft/game area for kids at the front for families waiting for tables, and all of the different seating options that they have. You can definitely bring your entire family here.

We visited Shindig on a Friday night when everything in the area seemed packed and crowded. But this place has a lot of space and we had our stroller so we didn't want to get in anyones way. We were sat right away and had friendly service. This is mostly a pizza spot but we weren't that hungry so we had a salad, fries, and wings. Everything was good, standard "American" fare. This spot is great for kids, groups, and they had a big outdoor patio that I'd love to check out once it's warmer. It is also part of the Cunningham Restaurant Group.

Went here with a group for a late dinner and we all enjoyed the experience. Fun atmosphere, great service. The food was hit and miss, though. The vegetarian cheesesteak wrap was solid, as was the pepperoni mac. The beer-battered fries were a unanimous hit amongst the group. The drive-through burger was just ok, nothing particularly special. The bacon on it was somewhat chewy, which I'm not the biggest fan of. The meatballs and red sauce were...interesting. The individual components were all really good, and would've made for an excellent meatball sub if they had been put together that way. Plating them all separately made for an awkward mess, though. Overall, we'll definitely be back, at the very least to try the pizza and wings.

Super quality pizza. The crust is light and fluffy, with just the right amount of crisp and chew. Their pizzas are generously topped and have great flavors. The Woodstock is a top tier vegetarian option, with a variety of toppings (8!). Their largest pizza size is pretty big for the price. It can easily feed three people. Great value. The Caesar salad was so good. The pesto served alongside made for a great combo. The cauliflower wings are not to be missed. It was enjoyed by both vegetarians and meat eaters. Sitting in their outdoor patio was a great early evening dining option. Inside, it's got a casual yet fun aesthetic. Employees are friendly and service was speedy!

When I found out that a friend of mine was coming into town from Seattle and would be around for a pre-birthday get together, I knew that I wanted to try something new. And yeah, I wanted to snag a Yelp review. I'd been wanting to try Shin Dig, a new Cunningham Restaurant Group concept on the Windsor Park line and down a block or so from North Mass Boulder, and figured this was the time to do so. Shin Dig is located in what is essentially a renovated industrial here with hints of that industrial all around it from older buildings to train tracks to the nearby highway. You'd think it might be awkward, but in truth I actually really liked the vibe. I was a little concerned as I pulled up and noticed that the building's 3-4 accessible parking spots were already full. Being a wheelchair user, that's always a concern because it means I have to park somewhere where I could get blocked in and not be able to access my wheelchair. Fortunately, I found a spot at the end of an aisle and was able to make it work. As this is a newly renovated complex, curb cuts are solid. There's a dinosaur outside the entryway (I don't quite know why, but I liked it). The kids definitely liked it. You go inside to a hosting area. One of my friends with me gets a little sensitive to sound - so, I quickly decided to place us outside. This outside area is pretty cool. It sort of weaves together the best of Blind Owl, Half Liter, and Rathskeller and really beats them all. I'm not sure what the surface is made of, but it feels like a sort of fine, industrial gravel but not actual gravel. My wheelchair had no issues with it - always a concern. The tables are picnic tables - also a concern for a wheelchair, however, they wisely left enough room at the end of tables for this to work. I will note that the inside, which I didn't see all of, seemed like it also had good spaces for a wheelchair. Cunningham can be a little hit-and-miss on this issue, however, it's mostly a hit here. My party of four fit nicely at a picnic table. We'd thought maybe 1-2 others might show up, though Saturday nights for my "creative" friends tend to be busy. Our server, whose name I never caught, was friendly and attentive throughout. The GM, I believe, checked in a couple times. The atmosphere was loud, however, not obnoxiously so. My friend, not one to hesitate to complain, never did. Everyone was surprised I'd never been here (until I acknowledged the desire for a Yelp review). Truthfully, most Cunningham establishments are not places I like to go alone. I seldom dine with anyone and this was a great chance to try it. The IU football game was on - the patio atmosphere feels like one of those retro-vibed beachfront bars. I practically expected Frankie and Annette to pop up and toss around a beach ball. I'd known their pizza had recently won a "best of" award at a pizza fest on Monument Circle. One of my guests ended up trying that pizza - Bee Sneez. We all tried something different, though we all stuck to personal (10") pizzas. I only ate half of mine. We also had appetizers - garlic breadsticks and an order of BBQ dry rub wings. I ordered my usual unsweetened iced tea. Since it was a pre-birthday get together (actual birthday is Wednesday), we got celebratory ice cream (server put a candle in mine - nice touch). Ice cream brand is Tillamook - a more premium brand, though I found pricing fine ($5 for a single). I had a pepperoni pizza (having to be a bit careful these days due to some lingering health issues). The server recommended the parmesan cream sauce (traditional red sauce also available). I liked it, though upon return will stick to the red sauce. I liked the breadsticks and loved the wings (it's usually the other way around for me). I would order both again. Pricing is consistent with Cunningham establishments. This isn't value dining, though it's also not exorbitant. Shin Dig was a bit tricky to find for my out-of-town friends. I knew almost exactly where this was at, though I'd never been down this way and was a little surprised to pass North Mass Boulder on the way. This Windsor Park area is growing nicely. I'm not quite ready to go 5-stars yet. This is an easy 4-star experience. The parking bugged me a bit and I do wish I'd opted for red sauce on the pizza - that's on me. I also wasn't thrilled my iced tea was removed when the dessert was delivered (I wasn't done and when I noticed it was gone almost asked for another). I had hoped to try a burger, however, these fussy health issues mean a decline in red meat. The menu here is pretty simple - burgers, pizza, a few sandwiches, a handful of dessert options, wings, some salads, and a handful of other items. An enjoyable way to celebrate the birthday with friends, there's no question I'll be back.

The salad was cold and crisp, the breadsticks were soft and savory, the roasted garlic ranch was to die for, and the pizzas hit the spot. The inside was soft fun, we colored some pages while waiting on our food. Definitely a family friendly place, tons of games, and the outdoor patio looks perfect for the summer time. Our service was wonderful and our waitress was kind. Can't wait to go back and try their wings and burgers!

My partner and I decided to try Shin Dig for Indy Devour. The deal was honestly pretty good. $20 per person with an app and entree. I ordered the garlic breadsticks and burger while my partner ordered the Caesar salad and bee sneez pizza. I will say the breadsticks were incredible. Really fluffy and buttery/garlicky. The Caesar salad was also really delicious with pesto we used to dip the breadsticks in. The pizza and burger were also pretty good. I really liked how they have board games and coloring pages to enjoy while waiting for food. The waitstaff was great and I definitely think I'll be making another visit as there's so much on the menu I'd like to try.

10" Gluten Free Bee Sneez Pizza - amazing!

When I read the most recent Cunningham newsletter, I texted my husband "SHIN DIG HAS GLUTEN FREE PIZZA AND BUNS NOW!!!!!" I was thrilled because Shin Dig ranks in the top 3 of my daughter's favorite restaurants and previously I could pretty much only eat a salad when we went. After our first visit, my two-year-old daughter asked to go back every day for a week (we didn't though ). I just tried the pizza and I was surprised by how amazing the gluten free pizza is! They can even make it in the large size, which is so rare. I brought another gluten free friend with me and she had the burger and loved it. I could tell that they have made improvements. They even updated the kids cup to something more functional for little hands. I love the fun, relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. It's a great place for groups with people of all ages. I've been with a group of over 10 people and they handled it really well. FYI - The Bee Sneez pizza is our fave!

We came in today to celebrate my son's birthday and had a great time. The atmosphere is kid friendly with games for the table to play. There's a bar, music and sports playing on TV. My family even made a dance floor for a quick minute. It was 15 of us and service was still A+. The food waa good. I had Dragon wings and Bee Snezz pizza. I didnt get to try the pizza but it came off. My son got chocolate cake and ice cream. We had to send it back because there was hair in the ice cream. It was taken care of.

There is also a hot dusting over the french fries which exacerbates any discomfort people are having from the heat. There really wasn't anything to cool it down. We were greeted right away and looked over the menu a bit before ordering. My husband ordered the country breakfast with chicken (definitely the way to go) and I ordered the cheesy jalapeño grits with bacon. We each got a cup for water and I ordered a coffee, excited because I saw ahead of going that it was self-serve (like at Cafe Patachou where I can get as many coffees as I like without having to wait for our server to come check on us first). However, the self serve coffee excitement was short-lived after seeing that they only offered half and half as creamer (I'm lactose intolerant) and the two coffee carafes were not labeled for what was inside (decaf? medium roast? you'll never know!) and then one was completely empty and never refilled during our visit. The water station also was not ever refilled during our visit, so we were not able to get refills after filling up our cups the first time. It took a couple of tries to find a table we could sit at because you seat yourself, but several had not been cleaned after other guests left and had food and drinks spilled on them. There were definitely enough staff members there to be able to clean them in between customers, so we weren't sure why they were left that way. We ended up sitting in the middle of the room towards the front, across from the clown art wall, which made for interesting conversation as we looked through everything. When the food came out I was impressed with the portions, but I had no flavor whatsoever to my cheesy jalepeno grits. The egg and bacon were good, but not enough to make it a good dish and I would not order it again. And I love savory breakfast and grits in general, so it was a real bummer. My husband's dish was worth the visit though. It was a huge portion size and we honestly would just split it if we came back and ordered it. It was so savory, seasoned perfectly, and juicy. One of the best breakfast dishes I have tried recently! I really debated between 3-4 stars for this, but my dish was a flop, the lack of cleanliness for the seating area, the lackluster self-serve coffee station, and not refilling the beverages ultimately scored a 3 star review for me. I would come back and try something else though, or split the country chicken breakfast because it was really good. Hopefully next time the beverages won't be empty!
