Came to Shiloh's for lunch during our road trip. Everyone was so friendly, especially our waitress, Victoria, who was the absolute sweetest. Food was good - would recommend their fried fish or burgers.

    Shrimp, avocado manderin salas

I am from Indiana, but travel to NH a couple times a year and have always eaten here at least once each trip, since I've never been disappointed in their tasty food. However, this visit was exceptionally different enough to not warrant my driving from Lincoln to Woodsville for another meal. Because I arrived on July 3rd, ten minutes before their 4 pm dinner menu, instead of being able to order scallops from their 4 pm dinner menu without waiting, I ordered their lunch menu shrimp, mandarin orange, avocado salad ($17). At 4 I received my plate with nice, juicy shrimp; but also with only a few, bitter, thinly sliced cucumber chunks, 5 small mandarin slices and experienced a serious treasure-hunt for the couple teeny ,thinly sliced avocado pieces. Huge disappointment! The only positive was the pleasant waitress. It is probable there is new management or even new chef, but there was no excuse for a 'chintzy' salad..at $17, no less! I doubt I'll waste my time returning, since competition in these beautiful White Mountains is fiercely competitive. Disappointing.

    Seafood chowder

YUM YUM YUM! That is what I have to say about everything I tried here. The restaurant was a pretty decent size but they seemed to only have one side open as it was pretty quiet when we went. The service was nice as everyone in there was friendly, especially our server (sad I didn't catch her name). I started with a cup of the seafood chowder and my first reaction was "holy crap that's a cup?!" Because the portion was pretty big. The chowder was delicious and the perfect consistency. It had so much seafood and great flavor and was steaming hot when it was served to us which is exactly what I needed as a native Floridian. I had the CBLT as my main dish because I was sold on the pretzel roll and chose my favorite food, French fries, as my side. The CBLT was very good and served with a house sauce instead of mayo. I should've asked for more of it on the side because I love my sauce but truly the sandwich was delicious as is. The fries oh the fries were one of my favorites. They were cooked to a perfect crisp and didn't even need any dipping sauce. My husband got the Reuben and I honestly can't decide which sandwich I liked better because they were both so good. My sister got the bbq pulled pork sandwich and it too looked very good, especially that Texas toast bun. All in all everyone was pleased and I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area. I'd love to go back to try their breakfast but have no idea If or when I'll be back to NH. They do have a full bar and LOTS of desserts that we were too full to try but sounded amazing.

French dip sandwich with hand cut fries & sizzling chicken sandwich with onion rings

Stopped in for lunch on our way to Burlington. It is a down home log cabin country style restaurant. We both had sandwiches and both were very tasty! A French dip sandwich with hand cut fries and a sizzling chicken sandwich with hand cut onion rings. Our server was very pleasant and welcoming! If we come thru Woodsville, we'll stop here again!!

Chicken quesadilla was great but no salsa or sour cream???

I got a chicken quesadilla and it was amazing. Friendly waitstaff and fast. The only problem I had was they gave NO salsa or sour cream with it to go. Just the dilla, gotta give some salsa and sour cream!!! Cmon!

We were on vacation in NH this weekend and this place was an absolute must go. I got the half stack pancakes with plain chocolate chip, whole wheat blueberry, and their special which was oatmeal granola. All were absolutely amazing. My mom got the buttermilk blueberry and gingerbread walnut- these two are our absolute favorite combos. We also got a side of their homemade wheat toast and home fries. If you go, you must get their home fries because they are arguably the best item on the menu, besides pancakes of course lol. My dad got a ham and cheese omelette, with a choice of 2 or 3 eggs (he got 3), which comes with home fries and toast. I also tried their iced lattes for the first time ever and I'm disappointed I never got it before. I got an iced latte with salted caramel flavor and whip cream which was amazing. Their menu is full of variety and they are so many substitutions and add ons you can make. Different combos of pancake batter and toppings, cheese and onions on home fries, different flavors of toast, etc. All the employees are so friendly too. Every time we've eaten here, the waiter/waitress is always so kind and friendly and attentive. Our waitress today, Lisa, was especially awesome. The food comes out in a decent amount of time too. Beware that they get VERY VERY busy once camping season starts, around Memorial Day weekend and continuing throughout the summer. You could be looking at a wait time of at least 2 hours on a weekend in the summer if you get there after 8 or 9am. They don't take calls for a waitlist, you have to be there to put your name on a list to wait. Since we went early May, we had no wait whatsoever. Please give this place your business, they deserve it and will not disappoint!!!

This is a beautifully restored building with ample interior and exterior seating. It is very dog friendly. Lady Bug was given a homemade treat by the owner, which she gobbled down with relish. There are choices for breakfast and lunch, and we ate there at lunch. The mouth-watering breakfast offerings - blueberry pancakes and custom breakfast sandwiches - will necessitate another visit for another time. While I was craving the curry chicken salad after ordering it off of the specials chalk board, it wasn't available and I was offered the pesto chicken instead. It turned out not to be a favorite of mine, and the rough-cut chicken had gristle and big pieces of skin mixed in. I would have preferred it more shredded. It needed something else to elevate the flavors and add complexity. Halved cherry tomatoes? Maybe a dash of toasted slivered almonds? A little tweaking on this seasonal standard would elevate it into something truly special. A bevy of hot and cold beverages, and a glass case of home-made sweets provide something for everyone. We settled on baked "French toast" cake that we brought home and enjoyed, per recommendation, with fresh strawberries, syrup, and cream. The new owners are warm and friendly, and are pouring themselves into creating a lovely space. We can't wait to return!

One couple even said "complements to the chef", after devouring all of the appetizers ordered (fried pickles and poutine). 3 people beside me as I type this "you gotta try this", "this is really good".
