I was a bit skeptical for a few years, but eventually, I decided to that I was tired of having to do my eyebrows before starting my day (haha!). It's located across of Kahala Mall in the Kahala Professional Building on Kilauea Ave. There's a small parking area of only 4 stalls for visitors. However, there's a lot of street parking and possibly free parking at Kahala Mall. I first came to her in early 2024. Before making my appointment, I had a look at her Instagram and website. Since this was my first time getting my brows done, I had many questions. Tina was incredibly sweet and answered all my questions. She helped me feel more comfortable and made the whole process very easy and smooth. The initial appointment was slightly longer than the touch-up appointments because we carefully discussed the type of brows that would complement my face structure and my preferences. I trusted Tina to work her magic as I was unfamiliar with the process, and I'm so glad I did! My brows turned out beautifully, and I was absolutely in love with the result. They truly enhanced the natural beauty of my facial features. I came back for 2 touch up appointments within the next 2.5 years and each time I came back, I fall in love with my brows all over again. I've been trying to refer family and friends to Tina as she is a fantastic brow artist! She also specializes in lash enhancements including liner tattoo and lash perm. Congratulations to Tina for rebranding her studio from Brows by Tina to Restore Studio with an additional service of restorative, paramedical tattoo! I can't wait to have my brows touched up again in the next few years.

I came to Tina because she showed up in a search nearby Kahala area. But the more I looked into powder brows, the more I realized it would be so nice to wake up and not have to do anything with my face. This is 4 weeks later after healing and I'm loving how natural they look! I included a photo of myself with and without makeup and as you can see, they work great either way . Tina was very sweet, professional, detail-oriented and made sure you felt comfortable the entire time. I'm so happy with my results and would recommend her to anyone!

After looking at many ads, sites, and word of mouth, I chose to go to Yuriko of Summer Eyes…read more I've been going to Yuriko since 2022 for initial and maintenance eyebrow and eyeliner procedures. I chose Yuriko and would not go to anyone else because: Artistry 1. She is an artist. Her work shown in photos is even, smooth, enhancing, and natural. Her color choices are good. I'm cautious about anything permanent, I trust her. I get compliments on my brows and eyeliner. So far, 5 people have asked me for her contact info. 2. She individualizes each person's procedure and listens to what end effect is desired. She noticed that I raise my eyebrows a lot in conversation, so adjusted my eyebrow design to work with it (so I wouldn't look shocked/crazy). 3. I'm not a stunner, but Yuriko has helped my face look like a put together version - AND I don't have to do my brows or eyeliner daily. Experience 1. Yuriko has years of experience and training from both Japan and the US. 2. She continues to keep up with industry standards and products. She goes out of state for training, product shows. Professionalism 1. Yuriko measures, consults w you, explains, and we agree on what's going to be done before she starts. 2. She's warm and approachable. e.g., I am comfortable telling her I need more numbing cream during the process. 3. She provides pre-and post-instructions before the procedure. 4. Her prices are reasonable. Facilities 1. Free parking 2. Clean and cozy 3. Nearby bathroom available I'm glad I found Yuriko. She is sweet, caring, artistic, and approachable.

As I was a first time client, she just trimmed my eyebrows a bit and then gave me pointers and advice how to keep them full. I am bummed I did not find out about her business earlier or else I would've definitely been a regular.

Unfortunately when I got there, they told me it's $20! Holy smokes, that's very pricey for just a color change! I called to see if they could get me in on the same day and they said yes, come now. That was a plus. The nail technician did a good job on my nails and was friendly enough. No complaints there. They're located in the Hawaii Kai shopping center, close to Island Brew Coffeehouse. Plenty of parking is available in the shared lot. I may return in the future, but not for a color change.

As for my gel manicure and my pedicure, she did an awesome job. I'm picky about my gel. I don't like when it's too this and I hate when it's too thin. I love glitter and she did an awesome glitter fade on my tips. Then she did a nail design on my toes and also added glitter. I was vacationing, and I wanted some mommy me time before cruisin around the island. J colored my hair with a high end color line from Italy(no smell at all)! High quality color and my cut was exactly what I asked for! Precise and quick! J was fun to talk with, and she even helped me out by giving me a bunch of recommendations for Hawaiian jewelry! She went out of her way to text me numbers of places I can buy Hawaiian bracelets at! I was happy and will definately be back when I'm back in Hawaii Kai! Worth the $$ for the quality of her service! Li- where do I start?!! This woman is A-mazing!! I booked a facial and massage the day I came for my color and cut with J one week previous. yes, make an appt! She books up with standing clients. First off, she got me when she told me that she used Yonka products for her facials..I was sold!!. I started my day with Li with a 1 hour massage! I came in with really achy calves! My varicose veins were apparent, and she spent a lot of time to relieve me of my pain!. She took her time and went over the one hour time and did not charge me extra $ for that...that tells you how much she truly loves her job! I was renewed, restored and revitalized! Now the facial was equally amazing! Yonka product is all organic and brought me nostalgia of when I had monthly Yonka facials in my 20's pre-kids and marriage!. Li has the magic touch, thorough extractions with a very painless, gently touch! My facial was finished with a hydrating masque that I badly needed from all my time in the Hawaii sun. Li is a consummate, passionate professional that truly gives her clients their $$ worth! I will definately plan to make an appt when I return to the Islands! Mahalo & Alohas to J and Li! You are both so awesome at your trade! Until next time!!!
