The comfortable spa table is prepped with a little steamer to get your face ready for treatment. The HydraFacial machine was explained to me. She also stated that if the process felt uncomfortable, I could alert her to adjust the pressure. The procedure helped to clean, exfoliate, and remove impurities from my skin. She then applied a serum of antioxidants, peptides, and hyaluronic acid. The final application was sunscreen. While the untrained eye, probably couldn't SEE a difference after the HydraFacial, I could certainly FEEL the difference. Clean, fresh, and super rejuvenated! As a follow up, I came in for the Scultural Face Lift with Buccal Massage. This included lymphatic drainage (behind your ears) and microcirculation of my shoulders, neck, and jaw area. If you've never had a massage inside your mouth, try it! This helps to relax jaw muscles and many TMJ patients use this. Honey, you are worth it! Whether a special occasion or just because. It felt less like customer service and more like pressure. When I arrived, the front desk employee took photos of my face before I was immediately sent into a treatment room. There was no meaningful consultation about my individual skin concerns or what treatment would be appropriate for me, and the photos didn't appear to serve any purpose during the facial. The facial itself was pleasant, and I was genuinely open to hearing about their treatments. I was offered a package of 12 Turbo X facials with skincare products for $1,800. I thanked the associate and said I needed time to think about it. That's when the attitude noticeably changed. The warmth and friendliness disappeared, and I was given a very dismissive goodbye. I completely understand that selling packages is part of the business. What I don't appreciate is feeling valued only when I'm ready to spend money. Things are quite different now. Anyhow, I was referred to Nita by a work friend for jaw clenching related headaches. I was super nervous and reluctant bc I'm scared of needles. So a whole group of us went together bc we were all scared. This was pre-pandemic of course. Anyhow Nita was so patient with our nervous yammering, our jumpiness. She even had relaxation tools for the really tense ones. And after that we were all so happy with the results that now we are all repeat clients and are big girls that can go on our own. In addition to the jaw injections I decided in for a penny in for a pound and got my forehead done too. A dermatologist in Korea had recommended I get my forehead done several years ago to prevent my wrinkles from setting in. I wish I had done it back then. Nita does a terrific job, uses the tiniest of needles, is gentle, lovely and has a less-is-more philosophy to her approach. Jaw muscle injections have helped soooo much with my clenching and teeth grinding. I am hoping to stave off getting a crown for my cracked molar. My forehead still moves naturally just is a bit smoother. Her prices are reasonable and all us scaredy cats are now loyal clients. I have referred her to anyone thinking about getting Botox.

The studio is located across the street from the Kaneohe Fire Station, with the entrance facing the side of the station. There is an open lot with free parking and a few handicap stalls, with more parking available under the other building. I'd never been in the building with the studio. It is a cute hair salon with a loft, Emily's studio is located upstairs in the loft in a room next to the nail salon area. It was a quick 30 minute appointment but Emily did not skimp on the precision and pampering... I LOVE my brows! I hope to return soon to get a facial done!

I was told that there must have been a misunderstanding on my part and that I was told Botox units. Even though I was Sure I clarified the dose and pricing prior to injection. The women continued to repeat herself over and over in a rude manner stating there was nothing she could do and that technically I was given $5 a unit but for 60 units not 20. So beware they dose in Botox units no matter which product they provide to you and even if you clarify the price and dosing they will change it on you before you check out. This is deception marketing. This strategy is to confuse you and require you to do the math at bedside to figure out your actual cost. Huge disappointment. Extremely embarrassing situation that they exploited. This is suppose to be a treat.

SO happy I found a new injector, Elissa, here in Hawaii! Elissa is very knowledgeable, and I felt like I was in good hands. The staff are friendly, and salon is always clean and inviting. Dysport all the way. It works within 48 hours, not like Allergan's Botox which takes 7-8 days to kick in. Mahalo to Elissa!
