Once there I…read morediscovered the paint was 'out of production', which was confusing as all colors, to my knowledge, are pigment mixed on the spot. I'm a home owner, not a contractor, so the nomenclature may be wrong but you get the picture. Anyway, the service person said it was no problem and they found the "old paint code' in a book and were able to mix the paint in minutes. While there I asked for a referral to get my aggregate sealing work, they flipped me to a local guy and he worked out great for a reasonable price. The staff at this location know exactly what they're doing and are very glad to help consult when you're not an expert. This isn't the 20 something set, not that there's anything wrong with that age group. But, these guys know how to explain the why's and what's when it comes to the coverings you need, and they're not put out to do it. A very well ran locally owned business. I highly recommend them.

We went into the Sherwin Williams store and had the greatest Customer Service you could ever get. Luke and Dustin went out of their way to help narrow the color we wanted and the selected types of paint product. Suggestions, samples, quantities, everything. I have stopped into many other stores just to get ideas, and I can tell you that if not being a contractor they did not want to take the time to talk to me.

My mother in law went to buy two gallons of eggshell paint from this location today. Fairly simple I would think. She went in, gave formula numbers for the paint we needed, got it, got home, and I began painting. A couple of hours later, my husband gets home and jumps in to begin the trim work. He grabs the gallon I am working out of and gets to work. As I am painting, I remark at how awesome the paint is blending with the other part of the house that is the same color. It has been 3 years since we painted. Awesome! We finish, take up the tape, clean up, and then grab dinner. Total work time from start to finish is about 6 1/2 hours. We painted a large area. After dinner, we head upstairs to put our kids to bed and I notice that after the paint has dried, there are two different colors on the wall. And...one is shinier than the other! WHAT????? My husband is frustrated because I didn't mix the two gallons of paint. My bad. I'm not a professional painter so I don't know these tricks of the trade. It would have been nice of the paint people to tell us that but they didn't. It looks like we will have to repaint tomorrow. Why are the two paints so different, though? Wouldn't the formula be the same in both cans? How could it be so drastically different? I grab the receipt and notice that we were charged for two cans of eggshell paint. I go back in my memory and remember that the can I used said flat. My stomach drops! Could it be possible that they gave us two different types of paint? I went and grabbed the empty paint can and the one that still had paint. YEP! Two different kinds of paint! So, here's what I am hoping for tomorrow: Full refund on our purchase 2 cans of the SAME paint A painter that will come out to our house tomorrow and repaint our rooms I'll let you know what happens.....

Bought about $400 worth of door knobs for my new house because there was no key starting with gift…read morecards from Rudy title. Then I found the key. Because I paid starting with gift cards and because I didn't have my house setup the receipt is gone, and evidently their system cannot lookup credit card transactions when it starts with a gift card. I spent about $1000 on that transaction and only $200 of which from gift cards. The inability of their software to lookup my information is not my problem, and they refused refunding. The items were unopened and in mint condition.

We ordered a toilet from Home Depot for a home remodel and waited ... and waited ... and waited …read more.. for a month. They had promised to deliver the toilet in four days!! We tracked the order which was tantalizingly close to Nashville after a week, sitting on the outskirts of town in La Vergne for a few days. Why wasn't it moving? We probably should have driven down and swiped it. Because next, it traveled to Virginia to New Jersey to Dallas to Virginia again. It continued its cross-country adventure through various states before arriving at our house a month late, interfering significantly with our remodel schedule! After considering for years to switch to Home Depot's main competitor just 7,007 feet away, we finally had the last straw. After spending hundreds of thousands of dollars at this singular location for a decade's worth of remodels and being perpetually disappointed, the 2026 ice storm hit Nashville. Tenuously making our way over the ice and out of our neighborhood, we were thankful to find Home Depot opened with the rest of Cool Springs being a ghost town. We desperately needed a generator after losing power, and they were prepared with stacks of them by the front door along with space heaters and flashlights. We had a $500 generator rung up and asked the employee how to use it, being a style of generator we had never used before. This bear of a man his grumbled "Look it up in the Internet!" There were no other customers, there was no reason to rush us out of the store, everyone was desperate in the middle of an unparalleled power outage in Middle Tennessee, and the brusque attitude was completely uncalled for. Look it up on the Internet? HEY, DUMMY! We have no power, no heat, no hot water, no Internet, and no cell service. How do you recommend we "look it up" on the Internet. Needless to say, we shall never return.

The sign said they would be back at 12:45, it's now 1pm and no one is here. No less than 15 cars have pulled into the parking lot and tried the door before seeing the sign. As a business owner being closed during everyone's lunch break is wild! But losing out on 15+ sales seems like a really poor business model. We purchased over 10K worth of high end furniture from Ethan Allen (EA) in Brentwood Tennessee…read more The sale clerks at the store recommended the Guardsman protection plan in the event we had any problems with the 2 sofas, 1 leather recliner and 1 oversized ottoman. Well, we did. The fabric on one of the sofa's ripped at the corner on the back corner and needed to be repaired. Simple fabric failure. Called the store and they told us this was absolutely covered under the protection plan, checked the actual protection plan contract and sure enough it appeared to be covered. Was actually coached by the sales clerk on what to say in the claim to ensure it was approved. Did it exactly as directed, submitted the claim with pictures and waited forever. Finally started calling and found out what a joke Guardsman customer service is. First, they make it purposely difficult to speak to a person. Second, the website provides no information. After multiple calls and emails and 3 weeks after submitting our claim I was told "fabric failure" was not covered. Went back to Ethan Allen and they advised it was covered but told me to submit the claim stating the fabric was ripped by a dog as animal accidents were covered under the 1 time lifetime warranty section - even though that is not what happened. So we tried again and again the claim was denied after waiting 5 weeks. I wish we had the money to hire a lawyer and sue but we don't. I highly recommend never purchasing a warranty through Guardsman or purchasing furniture from Ethan Allen. We have been extremely disappointed with our "high end" furniture and the fact they don't stand behind their product. The fabric ripped plain and simple and neither the warranty nor Ethan Allen will stand behind it for repair. Shoddy workmanship by Ethan Allen and even worse customer service.

Once I ready to check out this rude Indian lady started to check me out. I had a gift card, when I went to pay, she did not speak English well and told me I had to give her the pin. I had not scratched that off the back of the card, so I simply asked her if she had anything that I could scratch off the area with she said no rudely. I said do you have a coin she said rudely again no I said you have a pen. She said no the third time I said, do you have scissors or anything that I can scratch it off with? I don't have anything and she raised her voice and said no again. She was extremely hateful. I don't even understand why your company would hire someone who could not speak English well and who did not have any Customer Service skills. I would think that would be a quality you would need to work with the public. I suggest the manager retrain Anusha the Indian rude lady to know how to treat customers. After all this is Franklin not Antioch.
