Our biggest compliment is for the customer service. Billend helped us from start to finish and did so with a smile. His quick advice for calculating what we needed, was happy to estimate cost to compare the design pieces I was considering and helped get us someone to pull off the top shelves. Go to the Cool Springs location. This location has staff that likes to play hide and seek, and even when you finally find them, they know nothing to help you. Selection is same in all stores, so truly I would recommend shopping online or another location if you truly need something. read more

I'm working on a project with my builder, and they use F&D for tile and luxury plank vinyl flooring, so I decided to stop by on a Friday evening around 5:45 pm. It wasn't too busy, and the cashier greeted me kindly when I walked in. I noticed a few employees working, but no one approached me or even acknowledged me while I browsed. The store has a decent selection of tiles, LVP, real hardwood flooring, and materials. Everything was clean, though I didn't check out the bathroom. Overall, it was an okay visit--maybe I'll give it another shot on a weekend when there might be more staff around since I did go pretty close to closing time. read more

Every time I go in there, the service is outstanding. This is so much of a better selection than most of the box stores to the prices are extremely competitive. Most of these tiles cannot be found anywhere for the price they have them at! No way to describe it. This is my store! I had a fairly complex return and they handled it quickly. read more

recently went back here to get some new ideas for my newest project ( kitchen renovation) and things have really changed. The staff is unapproachable & not informed on product. The selection still maintains diverse which is nice, but why would i spend money in a place where i do NOT feel welcomed? I'm not sure if there's new management or lack of care. They WILL NOT answer the phone. You have a simple question. It rings and rings. You go there and there are multiple employees hanging around chatting. Plus- my husband put up a backsplash using their tile. After all the work was done he noticed it was different shades of white. The manager was aware of this (ongoing) problem, with the while subway tile, and did nothing to compensate my husband for his labor, and only helped with 50% of the tile costs. read more

I got few boxes of Tiles for my kitchen and I got so busy I didn't look at it till I finally find someone to install it for me and it's was all cracked and they refused to take it from me. Every time, either the phone lines are cleared as I'm calling or someone picks up and immediately hangs up on me. The question I have could be answered in 10 seconds.... The only Reason for your 1 star is because it won't let me give zero. My contractor sent me to your store and it is the last time I will ever step foot in it again. I have never been talked to or heard another employee speak so ugly to a co-worker as I witnessed today not once but twice. I was appalled by the condescending and unprofessional behavior. I hate that I wasted the time of my sweet designer who was so kind and helpful but I will not support a business who allows such a toxic environment. What's not to love about this place? The staff are professionally competent, friendly and creative. The prices beat everyone else's & there's like 10,000 items on display. I went in with a general sense of knowing what i wanted for my new home project, and I left with a stunning design that was a cost effective solution for my kitchen, baths and laundry rooms. Every item I bought was in pristine condition. I had some returns & they were handled quickly. Carole got to know me and picked out three different tiles that are absolutely stunning, and I wouldn't have known to pick out myself (what I had picked out in my few hours looking online before was much different and inferior to what she had). I know many stores are short staffed and finding good people is hard but I have to say that Raymond made my experience today amazing. I needed help to lift the large 2'x4' tiles onto the cart. I asked for help and he was just wonderful. He not only helped me, but after I paid and was at my car thinking, I don't know how I will get these in my car.... Prices are outstanding here and selection is great. However there are serious customer service issues. Don't even try to call into the store unless you have hours to spend either listening to an unanswered ringing phone or on hold. It also seems many of the staff are either poorly trained or totally clueless. I placed a large order of tile that was on two pallets. When my contractor went to pick it up they could only locate one of the two. After waiting for 90 minutes he left. I tried to address the issue over the phone and someone said they would call me back. They didn't. Instead they sent me an email receipt saying we had received all the tile. After another attempt to resolve the issue over the phone I was forced to drive back out to the store. I then waited aprox an hour while they got a manager to review the camera footage to see what happened. Finally they located the missing pallet and instead of an apology all I heard was "It was in a place it shouldn't have been." We lost a full day of production due to their snafu. At the end of the day you have to wonder if the savings are worth the aggravation! read more

I went to this location as I'm doing a big house renovation and was so overwhelmed at all the decisions to make for bathroom tiles and Dean Payne was walking by, I asked him if he could help me and he did just that!!!! He went over and beyond to help and was sooo incredibly patient. He gave me all his recommendations (and he knows what he's doing because I picked every piece he chose) he walked me through all the aisle and explained everything to make my decisions easier. He was so easy going and his sense of humor made this even less stressful. I asked him when he gets off because I took so much of his time and I didn't even know he was helping when he was supposed to have clocked out already, I wouldn't have never known that because I did not feel rushed and he answered all my never ending questions. I didn't know if I wanted to write this review or not so I sat on it for a few months, but decided to now. I ordered the Volakas Marble Rigid Core Luxury Vinyl Tile for my kitchen. It is a HORRIBLE floor for the kitchen. 1. When I brought the flooring home there were damaged pieces that were broken and filthy and damaged (the manager at this store did help with this but also made remarks about how I should have known and returned it when I saw the first "damaged" piece) I am a BRAND new homeowner who has never laid floor. I have no idea what I'm looking for and I have no idea that I would order flooring where over 50% would be damaged. 2. The floor is porous, absorbent, and difficult to remove stains. Had to come from Knoxville to get bullnose tile to finish our project because our store ran out if it and they dont have a service that can transfer tile from one store to the other. Horrible, horrible, horrible. Was at the floor in decor in California but the items I needed were at the Nashville store. The sales associate here called numerous times and was out on hold for over 20 minutes each time and they hung up on us each time. I then proceeded to call and they hung up on me twice. When I was finally able to get ahold of someone in laminate, he sent me to their design centers voicemail even though he was in flooring. On my final call, the same guy in laminate answered and yet with no apologies for the stores customer service was like "what do you want". I started telling him about the poor customer service and again, with apologies, said "what is it you want. ". How does a company operate with such inadequate employees? I went in today to spend a couple thousand dollars which I do every couple of month when I open new retails. I was asked to put on a face mask and I informed the employee at the door that it is illegal and a class 4 felony to wear a face mask while carrying concealed which is my legal right. This is literally the WORST company I have EVER dealt with in my entire life. My order that was supposed to arrive within 7-10 days took 18 days. After day 13 I called everyday to see what was going on and I usually ended up hanging up the phone after being on hold for over 20 minutes. Don't bother emailing-You will never get a response. Don't bother with the online chat-there are no real people that you will ever get to talk to. The only way to get any help is to go to the store. The staff are BEYOND rude and unwilling to help. The product I ordered was nowhere close to what was shown online. Not even close! The extremely rude staff at the store even agreed with me on this point when I showed them pictures. After returning my flooring I haven't received a refund and I can't get in touch with the store as now no one is picking up the phone. Taking our business somewhere else, I was looking to purchase 4000 sf of flooring but couldn't figure out if the developer had set up an account or not. Being with someone on a desk who would focus on my question only would had been nice and would had answered my question in 5 to 10 minutes, instead the guy I asked was running in and out of some lunch room, had me standing out there for about 15 minutes then when he came out he asked me to ask someone else... y'all try lumber liquidators on Lavergne, jeffco for hardwood (they offer builders discounts) or the flooring place in 100 oaks next to Home Depot, service here is worse than Walmart's customer care, this place doesn't deserve us spending 3-4K dollars a week in flooring with this horrible service. They kept saying they had tile I needed and when they went to the back they never came back to tell me if they had it..that was first try. Second day came back and said couldn't find it. Third try ordered online and the website kept saying order fulfilling for 4 days! We called and they make an appointment. The days we were there in store it was so hard to get help. They didn't want to load a good amount of time without me having an appointment so I said I'll load it and that was the only we I some what got help after I loaded half of it my self. They have guys standing in the back just talking waiting around all the time. Everyone I talk to has said bad things about them. So go with your own extra help. I purchased 1400 Square Feet of engineered hardwood flooring here in September 2020 and had it professionally installed in my condo. A few of the boards started cupping, so I had the installer to come back. He showed me where the boards were separating due to a manufacturing defect. I contacted Floor and Decor and they sent me a form to complete and asked that I provide pictures of my flooring issues and a copy of the store receipt. I completed their form and sent the requested information and asked for a confirmation that they had received everything they needed. After a week with no response, I sent my email to them again and asked was there something else they needed, they sent me an email saying someone would reach out to me in 3 or 4 days. I've been waiting for 2 weeks now and still no one has contacted me. I have new hardwood floors that are are trip hazzard. I guess I need to contact News2 and let them do a story on Floor and Decor and my floors. read more

Worst customer service. Tile designer quoted wrong amount at Nashville store and I ordered the suggested 10% over...basically, I needed double the amount quoted and am having to order from a different store...ordering and shipping will cost $130 to ship from Louisville store for 6 pieces of tile. Driven here multiple times...as they cannot do any transactions over the phone. My fault for not double checking the "professionals" numbers. Products seem nice, but don't rely on computer quantities or the employees at the store...even managers will pass you off from one manager to the next. read more

I was referred to this store by a friend of mine who mentioned their vast selection and great prices. Was that not only an understatement but the service was above and beyond as well. This was mainly do to the great help I received from Briana Williams. Mrs. Williams knowledge of the product and willingness to help with suggestions, when asked, made what normally would be a stressful time, turned into smooth sailing. We walked through the store picking out tile for each bathroom and hardwood for the rest of the house. Once we were finished she said I had about an hour to run errands and when I returned they would have it all bundled up and ready for them to load it all up in my trailer.
