This Lowe's is located on Mallory Lane and anchors the plaza that features a few eateries including Panda Express and Cava. For the most part, this is your standard Lowe's location. Our of the big box home improvement retailers, I am a Lowe's guy through and through for a few reasons. Pricing is the first, I seem to find better deals, especially clearance deals at Lowe's. Second is service, which tends to be decent at all the stores, this one included. My office is not far from here, so anytime I need to scoop something up for a project, I do so on the way home as I pass right by traveling down Mallory. My favorite section here is the grill section. I have gotten sooooo many grill items and accessories from this Lowe's. There is always something I forget or am interested in. This location is good on stocking as well. There has never been a time where what I was after was not on the shelf. They keep the store, inside and out, in good condition and clean. I went in on Sunday was greeted by a nice young man who was kind enough to ask me if he could help me find anything. I stated I what I was looking for and he directed me to the right place. Once I ready to check out this rude Indian lady started to check me out. I had a gift card, when I went to pay, she did not speak English well and told me I had to give her the pin. I had not scratched that off the back of the card, so I simply asked her if she had anything that I could scratch off the area with she said no rudely. I said do you have a coin she said rudely again no I said you have a pen. She said no the third time I said, do you have scissors or anything that I can scratch it off with? I don't have anything and she raised her voice and said no again. She was extremely hateful. I don't even understand why your company would hire someone who could not speak English well and who did not have any Customer Service skills. I would think that would be a quality you would need to work with the public. I suggest the manager retrain Anusha the Indian rude lady to know how to treat customers. Cancelling my order for 3 appliances after setting up two deliveries and 8 or more phone calls total! (Infuriating to have to listen to AI regurgitate the same questions repeatedly with no option to choose "speak to a live representative." Called the night prior to first scheduled delivery to confirm delivery window as the email window did not match that entered by sales associates. Was assured I would receive a call an hour before arrival. (I am an hours drive away.) I specified the number to be used and was told a note was added to file to that affect. Delivery attempted to call wrong number and was unable to leave a mssg. Rescheduled for Sat. Dec. 13th for 12-4 pm. Received email on 12/10 with a 12 hour delivery window 8 am-8 pm! Called delivery and staffer could not modify the delivery window. Tried to cancel my order. 1. Online. 2. By calling store. 3. By calling 800 customer service number. That associate is unable to cancel the order and must send it back to store associate. Funny! I had already tried to call my store associate (and listened to voice recording loop for 15 mins. There's is a complete breakdown of communication between the local store (appliances), the corporate Lowe's customer service and the installers. No one knows who's on first and no one takes responsibility. We bought an over/under oven set TWO MONTHS AGO. Installer Says the orders not released. Corporate says the local store says ovens not in stock. Local store says in stock and there's not a problem. Finally scheduled the install, and the installer goes to the local store who says ovens not in stock!!! This is crazy!!! read more

I purchased 2 blinds to be installed in my dining room. Buyer beware. What I thought would be a simple, direct process turned into an error filled, 3 month long, miscommunications fiasco. The first set of blinds installed were the wrong color and style, should have been bottom up-top down instead of top down. I noted that the widths were narrow enough to allow sunlight to stream onto my furnishings and requested a remeasure, a request which ultimately fell on deaf ears. The second set of blinds arrived by some astonishing act of Nature, while the installer was at the house for the purpose of the remeasure. A wink-wink sort of event. These blinds were not only narrow as were the first blinds, additionally the pull-down feature did not work properly. The installer came out again, agreed with me on the widths and took a remeasure of the blinds both length and width for a reorder. The pull down feature, however, remains an issue. Note: there were 2 installers so this second one was not the same person who did the original measurements. Following this, the denials began with Lowe's refusal to address the issues. Their partings words, "the installer advised blinds are the correct sizes". That was a complete let down. I will go elsewhere, take a hit to my pocketbook, and have these blinds replaced. I will never use Lowe's and their 3rd party installation business Crume again, EVER. The one star is for the installer who was the redeeming part of this whole fiasco. read more

Purchased a grill online, clicked on assembly option, order accepted. Picked it up curbside...they bring it out, still in the box. They explain that their assembly contractor won't be in for another week. Even more infuriating, their attitude was "oh well,". I am reminded why I usually go to the Home Depot nearby on Moore's Lane. Today was my first venture out and about, since the Covid -19 crisis begin. I had ordered before at Lowe's and received excellent delivery service (large order). Today I stopped in to pick up another order that I had placed online and received excellent service once again. Pulled into the designated pick up spot (online orders only). Called ithe designated number and gave them my confirmation number. Within a few minutes a young man wearing mask and gloves brought my order to my car and loaded it. This morning I took my toddler flower shopping. I had a limited window of time before she'd explode from being tired, so I wanted to be in and out. I checked out at the Garden Center and noticed I was overcharged for some plants that were on sale. The lady was a bit short and didn't seem to care that I told her they were marked 2 for $10, and she just said "you need to go to customer service". My toddler was starting to get fussy, I was exhausted (it was heating up and I'm pregnant/feeling very ill), and I took the plants and receipt to customer service. I showed them a picture of the signage and display while I was doing everything I could to keep my squirmy/fussy toddler calm. I was expecting the price difference back, but instead, the staff at customer service said "we're just charging you $1 each since you had to wait". As an overwhelmed, tired, and ill new mom, that was incredibly thoughtful and kind. I hope someone from Lowes reads this; please tell your staff you made my day. THANK YOU. read more

Latest and greatest is my product even though not available was already picked up go ahead and make sense of that. No one in the store seem to tell me the same story about my order. customer service has been less than helpful. on hold for more than 20 minutes, just to be hung up on more than once. Not offered any sort of resolution anytime. Promised callback several times, but I was the only one calling them back lack. I am currently in the time-consuming process of remodeling my place of residence, so I have been patronizing this establishment for quite a long period of time. I regret to inform all readers I will now be switching stores to someplace more professional. Over the many times I've frequented this location, I have been unfortunately treated with despicable behavior. Almost all of the employees I conversed with regarded me with an unimaginably rude attitude, and when I inquired about a product, they gave me vague and careless answers in a cold manner, and dismissed me as soon as possible. I attempted to wait this out, speculating that it would perhaps become better with time, but this regrettably was not the case. The arrogant, ill-mannered, impertinent attitude unhappily prevailed throughout the many weeks. Purchased a refrigerator. 3 different delivery dates to finally deliver. Flooded the kitchen. Had to chase the delivery people onto the road to return and turn water ice maker off with 1 inch of water on my hardwood floors. Fridge had a small dent and scratch. Door didn't shut correctly. Another day for repair man to look at it. He didn't even have a screwdriver with him! Needless to say he didn't fix door. 50 plus phone calls and 7 managers to get them to take it back. 3 different appointment dates to finally get it picked up. Wow! They are a mess. Icing on the cake. I have been shopping at all variety of home improvement stores for decades and after significant time and money between the two "Big name" stores have come to realize Lowe's is in serious need of improvement. I rented some equipment recently, and while friendly, the four associates standing around showed no concern for the value of my time. It took over 25 minutes to perform a routine rental that I've done elsewhere in the past much more efficiently. Furthermore, upon returning the item, which was more expensive to rent as it was the newer model, I was found to have been 25 minutes past my rental check in time and charged a $4 late fee! And in my area this is by far the "best" of the Lowe's stores. Go to the competitors and shop around for any significant purchase. I shop this Lowe's frequently and the only consistency is that employees will go out of their way to about helping you. I think corporate should give them camo vests to help. If you ask where something is, your lucky to get a point and aisle number. They won't help you find it. Also, if you want more than the average DIY, they don't have that either or if they do, no one knows what that it. Want to put some sill seal under a replacement exterior door... After waiting in the returns line for over 20 min while 2 people behind the counter tried to figure out how to find an item on the computer I was told that even though the item I had was clearly defected I would not be able to return it because some of the roll would not fit back in the packaging. DO NOT BUY AN APPLIANCE FROM LOWES! The company they contract with for delivery is unreliable and has HORRIBLE customer service! We bought an expensive refrigerator from them instead of Home Depot ONLY because they said they could deliver on Sunday as opposed to later in the week when we were out of town. Our refrigerator died so we were desperate to move the food before we lost it all. They originally scheduled for between 9:30 am and 1:00 pm. That morning they notified us it would be 10:30 am - 2:30 pm. We left briefly and the driver called and said he would be there at 9:30. Apparently they can't communicate with each other. We asked him to give us 15 minutes to get home and he never showed up. We called repeatedly until 11 am when we finally got a person who told us too bad they released the driver and can't force him to come back and he refused. What??? It was THEIR miscommunication as they changed the time to 10:30 at the earliest and we relied on that. Their previously stated policy was that they give a 15 minute grace period if they get there early. They could not have cared less that we have food sitting out spoiling in that we have no refrigerator or freezer. I will NEVER buy anything from Lowe's again. It is their contractor and their responsibility. The contractor is rude and the driver LIED and told his boss that he was told we wouldn't be ready for 45 minutes so he dropped us. That was a complete lie. He just wanted to go home early. Lowe's need to find a new delivery company if they want to keep their customers. I think I know why this location has such a low rating. I would give it ZERO stars if I could. I stayed in town this weekend to work on a few things around the house. I placed my Lowe's order on the App Friday evening and quickly received a email that my order was ready. I head down (45 minute drive with traffic) to Lowe's. I searched for a blackstone Grill at 3 different Lowe's locations, but the one in Franklin came through for me, they held both of them until I got there. The young man at the service desk name is Ronnie, he went above and beyond what was expected, I've recently had rotator cuff surgery and wasn't able to lift two grills into my pickup, no worries both Ronnie and his supervisor ( Who's name is Ronnie also) loaded them up and strapped them for my return trip back to Hendersonville. These two should be commended for a job well done! I noticed a scratch on one of the grills and the supervisor offered to replace it or give me $100 off! That's true Customer Service! read more

Shout out to David and Andrew in Appliances at the Lowe's in Cool Springs!!! I decided to clean my refrigerator before the holidays. All was good...until I had to put the shelves and drawers back in their places... In the course of failed attempts over 2 days (equaling 4 hours), I managed to exhaust every tetris-like maneuver in endless impossibilities. Not one cuss word was left out. YouTube, owner's installation guide...no help. Too proud to ask acquaintances. Dejected, at the end of my rope and on the verge of tears, I tucked my tail between my legs and headed to Lowe's where I purchased the monstrosity 5 years ago. I entered the store empty-handed. No pictures, no model number. As I made my way back to Appliances, a chipper employee greeted me. I managed a smile, but as I started to speak, I could feel my throat tightening, tears building up... Seeing I was a tad upset, he urged me to seek out David in Appliances. 'He's great! David will be able to help you out!' Boom! David was there and got me to a similar unit as we talked through my process. Red-faced and embarrassed, I shared the one picture I had of my fridge-no drawers, no shelves, food stacked on top of itself trying to stay at a safe temperature ... Enter Andrew! Double boom! When you wake up on a Saturday morning and the dryer you started at midnight is still spinning, the clothes still cold and wet, it's time to by a new appliance! So my wife went online on a Saturday afternoon, clicked purchase, and literally the dryer was being installed by Lowe's Sunday morning less than 18 hours later! I've never seen anything like it! That act alone earns them a 5-star rating! I've always been a lover of Lowe's and a doubter of the Depot. I once went to Home Depot, obvious competitor of Lowe's, to buy a refrigerator and they didn't have what I wanted. So I went to Lowe's and they had better prices and the exact style of fridge I was looking for. One Christmas I scoured Home Depot for a certain type of holiday lights but couldn't find them. I went to Lowe's a found the exact lights I needed. This continued on several other occasions before I simply gave up on Home Depot. Lowe's has better prices, a larger selection, and they always seem to have exactly what I need. And they recently remodeled this particular store, now totally modernized. I usually never leave reviewed about retail stores or any kind of stores, but this is 1 star worthy for me. We stopped in to get some paint samples as we are building a new construction home and were having trouble deciding on the trim & wall colors. Hard to pick a neutral white and grays, so I was hoping the lady at the paint counter could help. I had 6 samples, and laid them out and asked her for her opinion or if she was familiar with any of them....wait, actually before that I asked her how she was doing and smiled, she didn't say anything. Just stood there. Anyway, so after I asked her, her response was "well these colors will all look different in any room." That's it. That's all folks. I stood there and said okay then, we'll I guess we will have to sample them! Terrible service. The paint section might be the busiest part of the store - so maybe they should put the most knowledgeable person there. read more

My family and I are in the process of remodeling our home. We started with the bathrooms. We purchased the paint, new sinks and vanities, and the tile from Lowe's in Franklin. We didn't experience any rude employees like the other reviews say. I did, however, have to go on a scouting trip to locate an employee to help us. So, thus far a mediocre experience. Lowe's doesn't bother to call us ahead of time to schedule a delivery of our tiles to our house. They call my husband asking where we are -- out of town, by the way. So, the delivery has to be "rescheduled" -- never scheduled with us in the first place. I will spare you the details of the actually delivery, but let me sum-up with not happy. Now the biggest problem with Lowe's. Lowe's does not use their on people to install. They subcontract out with another company called Service Pros Installation. This is where our bathroom remodeling job figuratively spirals into the toilet. We schedule an installation, my husband takes off work, and two hours after the window of when the installers would call to install finally receives a phone call from Lowe's that the installers are on there way --- just running late. Then minutes later receives a phone call from Service Pros that the installer is in the hospital and didn't bother telling anyone, so we have to reschedule. We reschedule again, have my in-laws who are retired because believe it or not my husband and I actually work outside of our home and can't take off every **** second to accommodate these incompetent people. Second scheduled day arrives, my in-laws are at my house, and my husband receives a phone call that the installer woke up coughing, etc., so no show. My in-laws drive back to their house 50 minutes away from where we live. Okay, reschedule number 3 is finally on a weekend --- they are making an exception of working on the weekend since this is reschedule number 3. Day of the installation, the installer calls to tell us he is it Lowe's picking up our delivery. We inform him the delivery is on two pallets in our garage. When the installer shows up, it is one installer to remodel two bathrooms. He starts at 8:15 a.m. and works until 7:30 p.m. leaving twice to buy replacement blades for his saw --- you should have been informed we chose polished marble tiles, and after the first time of leaving....you should buy enough!!! At 7:30 p.m. Saturday night, the installer informs us that he does not have enough tiles to finish the job --- he did break one tile, yet there is supposed to be a 15% extra supply for these situations. Okay, supposedly the installer stops by Lowe's Sunday morning to get two more tiles. Sunday afternoon around 12:30 p.m., the installer leaves. You have to wait 48 hours for the grout and everything to set before you can walk on the floors. My husband calls Lowe's and Service Pro to incessantly to no avail. Nobody comes out to replace the toilets, we try on our own, and finally call Hiller Plumbing and pay them to reinstall the toilets. Once toilets are installed, we find out the tile around the toilet area in one bathroom was not cut properly. We are still waiting for a return phone call to fix the tile in one bathroom. Also, the mess the installer made.....I'm cleaning floors, walls, power washing the garage and driveway ---he tracked stuff throughout the house. Highly displeased. If this is not resolved soon, I will be seeking legal action. I hope this review helps someone not go through this nightmare. If I could give them zero stars, I would. read more

It was close to closing so there were some carts in front of the product. He offered to move them for me and he even gave me some very helpful information about the product. Even going into the store either no one is there or they are helping others and have a wait line (and it's not the fault of the people waiting). I have to break-up with Lowes! As much as I like the fresh bright clean store, their trending fixtures in lighting and bath, appliance selection, flooring selections and more...I can't go back anymore. I have bought carpet in October that wasn't re-installed correctly until the next march. Lots of phone calls on my part and complacency on theirs. On various purchases, I've tried to deal with the pro desk which is serviced by staff with an incredibly wide range of willingness to help customers and follow through. I had returned some large items from a project and no one registered the items in from the return in the delivery department. I dealt with no less than 6 different people trying to straighten out the mess. I finally went into the store only to have a manager refuse to come to the customer service counter to help get the process on the correct path. A lovely knowledgeable customer service person took on the task and did the best she could to resolve the problem. You truly have to find the best people that work there through trial and error, call in advance to see if they are working that day so you will be assured that when you arrive you will be able to accomplish what you need to. Far too high maintenance and more frustration that I ever want in trying to do a home project. Beautiful on the outside, a little too unstable on the inside, it's time to break-up!
