In addition, they do the sweetest things for our local community, including an annual CHRISTMAS arts and crafts for children, a local dinner to say Thank You for shopping with them over the years (it was open to the public), the lovely koi pond out front that we visit regularly, and so many more ways they support our hometown. HIGHLY RECOMMEND them as the FIRST OPTION when looking for all your hardware and home needs. NOTE: We moved here during the flood in May of 2010. They and other local businesses helped so many families during that time. I've never forgotten and am still appreciative to Harpeth True Value and the others.

And honestly, at $11.50 a stone, best value ever. If one breaks I can easily switch out as needed. Y'all are the best.

In some regards this review is a variation of a "toss-up" aka Heads or Tails. And the outcome very…read morewell could be dependent on customer service. In previous excursions to HD stores at various locations over the years and across the US, my experiences have run the gamut of fantastic (Heads) to Absolutely Awful (Tails) to Phenomenally Disrespectful (Lost the Coin). Bottom line for the most part is my perception is that Customer Service often is reflective of managerial training and support of local staff...and that goes all the way to the top of the HD Chain. (IMHO respect for Veterans often touted in their ads, needs to be more honest and more consistent. I'm not looking for a handout...just the respect HD says it provides....but only sometimes.) Fortunately, for this specific Franklin Home Depot and this curbside trip, Customer Service was a "Heads." It came with prompt, courteous attention to my purchase and the process of pickup. The store had what I ordered on line (in stock) and they delivered it curbside only minutes after arriving and checking in (via phone). The process of checking is was a bit cumbersome, but it worked! And ultimately it worked well. Heads!

My friend and I had booked a candle making class for Valentine's Day Weekend (Galantine's Day for…read moreus! LOL) but we had a snafu with mother nature that made us reschedule to March 9th, 2025 for 2 pm. Neither of us had been here before but I have taken candle making classes in another state. We arrived and were able to park right in front. Jennifer, the owner immediately came downstairs (it's 2 floors) and told us to start smelling some candles to kind of get an idea fo what we wanted when we got upstairs to the workshop. The downstairs is a very cutesy, boutique style shop with of course candles, gifts, greeting cards, candle accessories, drinking glasses, sticker, you name it. Even her displays and decor was oh so cute I could not stop looking at it or complimenting her!. I kinda already knew/know what kind of scents I like but my friend took a little longer to figure it out so I of course found more things to purchase lol. Once my friend was done, we went upstairs to the workshop. Oh gosh, upstairs is just as cute if not MORE!. It had a full size kitchen, the workshop area and a middle seating area with a couch and other decor. If you want, you can bring food and drinks to the glass. Once upstairs she had a place set up for me and my friend with everything we would need to make a candle. We both decided we wanted two candles once we were there as well. You prepay for the class for 1 and we added an additional. She went thru the many scents she has to choose from and ways to layer them. She also offer different vessels if you want to upgrade from the original one you get with the glass. Prices were very, very reasonable I thought on everything, even the gift items. A bigger group of ladies came in about 30 min after us and she worked with both of us. Me and my friend ended up being there about 2 hours total, but I think normal time is about an hour. You do have to go back and get your candle once it sets or she can ship it to you. I opted to go pick ours up because I was off later in the week anyway. This is a great place to have a little fun and an amazing place if you love candles like I do. I highly recommend coming here if only for the gifts. Clean, friendly, great parking and prices on it all. Thank you Jennifer!
