Today I came to just exchange a sweater that didn't fit and was planning to shop (I.e. SPEND MORE MONEY than what the sweater cost) and the girl working said "we have a 14 day policy so sorry." Are you kidding me?! 14 days from a Christmas gift that you wouldn't allow me to spend the $85 the sweater was worth plus more to have a great experience and become a loyal customer? I shop at certain boutiques because of the customer service, then the quality of merchandise. This place seems to have cute but expensive clothes, definitely never going to have me as a customer here. Horrible policy's and "customer service!"

The store presents itself as a Christian business and has a prayer room inside, which makes the lack of accountability and customer care especially disappointing. I expected the product to be better quality and, at the very least, for someone to follow up and make it right. I hope the store resolves this promptly and begins treating customer concerns with the integrity its branding suggests.

It is a little area in the center of the room where you can write down prayers on a tag and hang it on the wall. Others are encouraged to take a tag and become a Prayer Warrior for the person who left the prayer. Today, was a very impactful visit for me. I went into Philanthropy with a heavy heart because we found out our good friend that has been battling cancer was moved to hospice. The prayer room gave me peace & I left feeling a little lighter. We were greeted immediately by a tall gal (whose name I regret not asking) who handed my wife a sparkling water with all the grace of a Southern debutante. While my wife was lovingly coached through boot options by Suzie, aka the female Johnny Cash, I struck up a conversation with Bob, who told me the backstory of how he ended up with Tecovas. The man has stories that could fill a leather-bound novel. The entire vibe? Relaxed, intentional, human. No rush, no pressure, no chaos, just folks who clearly love what they do. That's a far cry from the hustle and bustle of some other Tecovas locations (cough cough South Congress in Austin). Even though this store has only been open a couple of weeks, you'd never know it.
