Today I came to just exchange a sweater that didn't fit and was planning to shop (I.e. SPEND MORE MONEY than what the sweater cost) and the girl working said "we have a 14 day policy so sorry." Are you kidding me?! 14 days from a Christmas gift that you wouldn't allow me to spend the $85 the sweater was worth plus more to have a great experience and become a loyal customer? I shop at certain boutiques because of the customer service, then the quality of merchandise. This place seems to have cute but expensive clothes, definitely never going to have me as a customer here. Horrible policy's and "customer service!"

Much less help the woman in the fitting room trying on tops. Another woman's children were running a muck all over the store and hiding in the racks. I had no idea this place was a part time day care as well. Where I knocked stars off is the sale room still contained the same crap from 2 weeks ago and the sale denim rack's didn't go down any further. I noticed they got in new inventory but nothing I loved. Disappointing the second time around. I doubt I'll be back for a third.

I am very disappointed with my experience at this Franklin store. I purchased a gold ring, and…read morewithin four days, nearly all of the finish had worn off. For the price and the way the item was represented, that is unacceptable. What has been even more frustrating is trying to get help. I have called five times and have repeatedly been told someone would call me back, but no one has followed through. First, they said the owner was out of the country, and the last 4 calls they promised a callback after speaking to the owner and manager. Still haven't heard back from them. The store presents itself as a Christian business and has a prayer room inside, which makes the lack of accountability and customer care especially disappointing. I expected the product to be better quality and, at the very least, for someone to follow up and make it right. I hope the store resolves this promptly and begins treating customer concerns with the integrity its branding suggests.

The staff is refreshingly friendly and never rushes me or hovers over me. Just the way I like to shop! I think this is especially important to mention because a lot of their merchandise is religious based so it is a unique experience that needs to be savored. Today, I purchased some Christmas Home Decor that I will treasure for years! I also stopped in their treasured Prayer Room. It is a little area in the center of the room where you can write down prayers on a tag and hang it on the wall. Others are encouraged to take a tag and become a Prayer Warrior for the person who left the prayer. Today, was a very impactful visit for me. I went into Philanthropy with a heavy heart because we found out our good friend that has been battling cancer was moved to hospice. The prayer room gave me peace & I left feeling a little lighter. Thank you Philanthropy for providing such a beautiful space that brings peace to so many! Whether you are on a visit or a local of TN be sure to stop here & experience this special place!

If Johnny Cash and Southern hospitality had a baby, it would be this Tecovas…read more From the second we stepped through the grand double doors of this historic bank-turned-boot-paradise, we knew we were in for something special. The architecture alone is worth the visit, a preserved 1901 gem with rich wood, exposed brick, and ornate touches that make the place feel more like a museum than a retail store. But make no mistake: this store is alive and buzzing with charm, boots, and damn good people. We were greeted immediately by a tall gal (whose name I regret not asking) who handed my wife a sparkling water with all the grace of a Southern debutante. While my wife was lovingly coached through boot options by Suzie, aka the female Johnny Cash, I struck up a conversation with Bob, who told me the backstory of how he ended up with Tecovas. The man has stories that could fill a leather-bound novel. The entire vibe? Relaxed, intentional, human. No rush, no pressure, no chaos, just folks who clearly love what they do. That's a far cry from the hustle and bustle of some other Tecovas locations (cough cough South Congress in Austin). Even though this store has only been open a couple of weeks, you'd never know it. Everything ran smooth, the displays were beautiful, and the service was polished like a new pair of ropers. We walked out with a couple of small items and a whole lot of gratitude for such a stellar experience. Franklin, y'all got a treasure.
