Review update! This…read morecontinues to be my favorite Blush Boutique location. Through and through. The fact I don't live in state (I live 4.75 hours away on a rainy day, 4.5 on a good day) and have managed to spend probably $2k at Blush since my first visit in June 2015, should say a lot. I have been to this one, the Gulch, and the Louisville location. That's also my order of preference (see my Louisville review for more info on why that location doesn't stack up). What sets this location apart: Parking is easy. It's next to a Target in a shopping strip. The store is laid out well. It does have a TON of merchandise, but associates seem to know where everything is. The merchandising itself is better. Instead of being Charming Charlie-Esque blocks of color, things are mixed and matched. This makes sense. People don't wear blocks of color. People wear style. I love the Blush brand pieces a lot. Some are better quality than others, yes. But things are usually priced accordingly. The staff at this store is attentive, conversational, but not in a way that is aggressive, phony feeling, or anything but organic coupled with just good customer service. They also don't make you feel like a kleptomaniac in the way they offer to start a room. Never once have they treated me like a suspected shoplifter... Which is great considering I have spent so much money. That may sound like a strange thing to say, but another location definitely did make me feel that way (and I was taken aback by it) The fitting rooms in this location are better. Better lighting. Instead of a random tiny dinky nail out a wall, there are plenty of hooks to hang stuff and even a spot to set a wallet down. Fabulous. They have their bralettes right by the fitting room if you need that. This location is legit the best. Never had bad customer service. Oh and today she even asked if I was a Blush Loyalty person. Most of the time they don't since I am from out of town... and I didn't realize the couple of times people have asked for my phone number that's why... So apparently from the times it was asked, I have earned a $25 gift card from the amount spent those times I was asked. Not too shabby

I tend not to make my way out to Franklin very often but this incredible boutique is certainly worth the $3.75 a gallon. I know the owner Brooklyn Byrd personally but this review is based off of sheer product and layout. Clearly, I'm going to like the customer service because she's my pal but trust me when I say, I know a LOT of people and many are friends... but they certainly didn't receive a 5 star Yelp rating from me because we have drinks sometimes or brunch together. 5 stars is based purely on the unique and absolutely gorgeous jewelry, accessories, and apparel in this store. Coupled with striking merchandising and layout, Johnnie Q is where every woman should go if she wants signature pieces that not every other broad on the street will own. Plus, her price points range from totally affordable to splurge. I fell in love with some bracelets from contemporary brand House of Harlow and also some Rachel Pally dresses. Johnnie Q also boasts a beautiful assortment of striking cocktail rings... AKA my ultimate "weakness." Much prefer this storefront to their other locations, and possibly due to how thought curated the booths appear to be. You can find lots of different styles and treasures throughout the store. Prices were a little high in my opinion for vast majority of the booths, but there were some reasonably priced ones as well! The store is in a warehouse, but it looks fairly new and doesn't have that old antique or thrift smell you sometimes get with antique malls. Was a nice bonus that it's not only air conditioned, but also has a little area for purchasing snacks and beverages. Parking was plentiful on a weekend (much better compared to the other location), and the staff was super helpful and sweet! Will be coming back in the future and am excited to find some new treasures!

The original GasLamp location is just right around the corner from this location...they needed to expand, so they did it right and got a second location that you can walk to from the original! GasLamp Too is a massive antique mall that has hundreds of vendor stalls with items ranging from mid-century furniture, jewelry, artwork, holiday décor, clothing, new-build chairs and tables, records, toys and much much more! GasLamp Too is king of hidden, but if you follow the signs then you will be solid! They are located right off of Powell Place. Turn at the light where Home Depot and Staples are and right before you enter Staples make a sharp left and follow that all the way to the end and here you will find a small sign on the building letting you know you have reached GasLamp Too! As mentioned, this place is massive. One thing I really enjoy about GasLamp Too is while they have a lot of items, the place is super spacious with well mapped out aisles and stalls. Additionally, none off the stalls are overran with goods. All the stalls are organized and have an appropriate amount of goods. So, that is definitely a welcome change from some of the overwhelming antique shops I have been to! Overall, we are fans of GasLamp Too! We usually swing through each visit and I will say that the selection of items is always hit and miss, but that is the fun of an antique shop and what they are at their core, so we never get upset about it!
