The paint I had matched at Home Depot was too dark and almost led to having to paint the entire house unless we found a match. Mike, Logan, and Jalen spent a significant effort in helping me match the paint color. They were extremely friendly and patient with me, even though my issue seemed small. We saved me thousands of dollars in labor by the effort their team put in. I'm very grateful for the team's effort, and I will recommend any person looking for paint in Nashville to go to this store.

So, over the past ten years, I've been coming here to get additional paint for touch ups and such. Today, I'm back again. However, this time, I need them to color match the paint we need. No problem. Keith was at the counter and greeted me upon everything. He was very helpful to give me all the possible options of interior paint. He didn't shy away from asking his coworker for a second opinion on their interior/exterior paint. I respect that. I left my paint order and returned an hour later. My paint was ready AND appears to be a perfect match! Although nobody was at the counter to greet me upon entering, Sean came up after a few seconds. He was nice and professional. He even carried my paint out to the car and placed it in the trunk. Awesome!

If I remember correctly, the company that did all of the work for the Opryland Hotel used Warren's sealer. I think most of their customers are contractors who do painting or sealing professionally, but they sell to homeowners too. I went back this year, planning to do another coat to get a really thick layer on, and they actually recommended not applying any more, and explained the reasons why. Explanation aside, I think it says a lot about the company and how they stand behind the product, such that they turned down business because a second coat isn't needed or recommended for at least another couple years. Definitely recommended based on customer service and quality, and they're local!

Porter Paint has a reputation for high quality among painting contractors, but perhaps at a higher price than some of the other brands sold at the big box home improvement stores. I was pleasantly surprised to find that while the price was just slightly higher than other brands, the ease of application and coverage more than makes up for the difference. Like just about everything else, you get what you pay for. I'm not a professional painter, but have spread a lot of paint on a lot of walls in my lifetime, and I'm now a huge Porter Paint fan. Both honestly were a bit of a let down. While I get the seasonal décor being limited because it's not there to stay, the limited options for exterior patio and yard lighting was a bummer. It was essentially an endcap. The store was clean, organized and in good shape. Service was non-existent, but we did not seek anyone out either. From entry to exit, we were not engaged at all. Passed several Associates on the floor and while we did self-checkout, the Associate running this area was on their phone during our checkout. Not a big issue, just surprising. Overall, this location is your standard Home Depot location and when in the area, if the need arises, I would have no issue swinging back through.

He had been installing for her for many years and did flawless work. I did not get that installer apparently because he destroyed my sheet rock and did not install the closets as was laid out by the rep. I sent a bunch of photos to the office and they sent out the installers boss. The finish on a lot of closet pieces were missing the factory paint. Appears like I got second hand materials or things not used on prior installations. Looks like it was in the installers truck for a while. Installers boss came out on 6/21 and confirmed that the closets were not installed correctly. He seemed shocked. He said replacement parts would be in 2-3 weeks and they would come out (he and installer) and make it right. I have left many messages with no action. The guy at the office told me that it takes 4-6 weeks to get materials in and that the installers boss didn't know what he was talking about. It seems like everyone is pointing fingers at someone else. I just want my closets fixed so I can use them. I do not recommend using Home Depot and their installers in Tennessee. Do your homework. I wish I would have. Now I'm stuck with this and no one from Home Depot is assisting me. I am attaching a few photos of the problems.
