I popped into Bed Bath & Beyond to look for some new Christmas accents. I found battery operated ' lil Christmas Tree accents for my coffee table. They look great in my home and are very festive! The store was well merchandised but the merch was not plentiful. I was hoping there would be more (my husband is glad there was not ). I did walk around and look at different departments and noticed they have nice accent tables, rugs, & bathroom accessories. I would definitely go back when I am in the market for updating those items. Service was good. They left you alone to browse but were there when you needed them. My husband was flipping through the channels. I usually just tune him and the television out. I don't care about sports shows and I'd rather chew off my own arm than to watch his favorite news channel. But then I heard "the new Bed Bath & Beyond is opening in Nashville". Slam on the breaks. "Go back, go back", I yell to him from the kitchen. "Hurry up". Did I hear right? Oh my gosh! I did! BB&B is opening! In Nashville. Rejoice! It had to be divine intervention. We just happened to be driving to Nashville on grand opening day. I convinced my driver (ok, my husband) to leave early enough so we could stop on our way to the airport. It took us almost 3 hours to make the trek from Huntsville to Brentwood. We'll stop on our way home he promised. On the way home, our flight was delayed two hours. I swallowed my disappointment because I knew it was going to be 4 more, long weeks until I headed back up to Nashville. Finally, today was that day! We left extra early, I wasn't about to let construction traffic mess up another chance of going to what I once thought was my long lost favorite store. We made it. I nearly skipped into the store - quite a feat since I'm in a walking boot for a broken foot! I couldn't restrain myself - I gushed to the first employee that I ran into how truly excited I was. She looked at me like I had a third eye in the middle of my forehead. She obviously was well past the excitement that I felt this glorious day. I walked around the store, gently touching, lovingly touching the knick-knacks. The pillows. The pumpkin shaped candles. The cookware. But then that was it. My lip quivered a little when I realized that's all there was. The 50 shades of towels, the 29 types of bed pillows, the rows and rows of kitchen tools, even the 21 varieties of k-cups. Not there. No agonizing over vanilla latte or exotic chai. No 10 minutes of contemplating burgundy versus maroon. Barely any choices at all. Bed Bath and Beyond was now a mashup of a small Kirkland's and a tiny Home Goods store. I did find a toilet paper holder that I wanted. There was a big sign outside that said that they still accept Bed Bath and Beyond coupons. What they mean are those relics found under the car seat. Those with grease marks from stray French fries. The ones with the torn corners and blotches of things I'd rather not know about. What they don't mean is BB&B online coupons. The online BB&B is apparently not the same store. I left my find at the register, I just couldn't bring myself to buy something at Bed Bath & Beyond without a coupon. It was just ingrained in me. My skip was replaced by a little limp as I walked back to the car. I quietly buckle my seat belt, adjust my sunglasses and restart my Waze app. With a defeated, nearly inaudible voice, I ask, "where do you want to stop for lunch, babe?" read more

In hopes to purchase something, not on Amazon, I went in search or an ironing Board. I thought what I found was an Ironing board for just under $25 plus a % off, I thought great and I ordered something else to get free shipping if you order over $35. WELL what I ordered was a $25 ironing board cover. when I went to request a return (which i could take to the store f it allowed me, which is only 10 mins away), the site wanted over$15 for a return address label of which I had to take it (5 mins away) to the UPS store. Customer service with a snarl not a smile. What in the world has happened to Customer Service? I have enjoyed shopping in person at Thiroughbred Village, Cool Springs Bed Bath & Beyond for the last several years. That may have ended today....at least the "in person" part. Today I was shopping for a particular item at our local BBB. But since I could not find it on the shelves (even though the website listed it as "available in line and in store") I decided to seek assistance at Customer Service. I walked to the front of the store and stood near the Service desk as I have in the past. Only one person ahead of me - good sign. When that person left, I stepped up. The woman behind the counter at Customer Service did not speak to me, but rather, shouted out to another clerk two registers away, "He wasn't in line was he?" (She Did not ask me.) That other clerk, in turn, shook her head "no" and waved someone to her right to move forward. The woman behind the register at Customer Service continued to ignore me, did not say, "There is a line or people ahead of you" or "You need to go to the back of that line" or anything of the sort. She simply and brusquely motioned for the next person two registers away to step up. No comment such as "Sir we have a line to your right" or "Excuse me, but could you please queue with the rest of the folks to your right." No indication of a line, no signs, no other way to know that I was "out of line". And no polite instructions either. I have never been treated so rudely or brusquely before in a store like this. And I fear that this may have been "the straw that breaks the camel's back" in regards to my returning to this location. I'm glad I can order on line. No snarl. read more

This store is always bright and clean but the signs aren't super clear and sometimes they have returns or in-store pick ups to be all in the same line which can take forever and just redo your signs if it's not accurate bc surely it can cause frustration. I do enjoy my yearly membership and enjoy ordering online to pick up in store. I haven't tried where they bring it out to the car so can't speak to that. Overall I like this store but I don't think it is what it used to be. read more

I have not been in this store for a while and was shopping for a college student's dorm room. I had trouble finding items and ended up asking several associates various questions. Every employee was so courteous and willing to help. Ethan the manager was super and also Josh, who checked me out. Both of these men were so kind and patient when I was checking out. read more

I am 110% sure that one of their workers was on the job as high as a kite. I walk in, and head over to the first worker I can see. I ask her where I can find a "boot mat" like where you can put your wet snow shoes or boots when you come in from the cold. She said it's over in the bath area, with her eyes squinted and dazed over completely oblivious to me. So, I take her advice, walk over to where she said I could find them. Imagine my confusion in the bath area, where she told me to go, when there was no boot mats. I walk around the store, thinking maybe I can find someone who will help me, but yet no one was around. I then come back to the front of the store, where our lovely non-sober worker was operating the register, and waited in line for her to tell me that she doesn't know where things are in the store and that she just operates the register. I asked if she could point me to someone who knew where it was, and she was like "idk someone on the floor".... Really? I don't really live anywhere near Franklin, so to drive out all this way and be treated so rudely is such a waste of my time. C'mon BB&B. Be better. read more

Shame on you for dropping the "My Pillow" from your line of products. It won't affect their sales because they are always available online at the "My Pillow" website. In fact, at Christmas I bought 2 sets of sheets and another pillow directly from them, cheaper than I could buy them from your store. Your obvious bow to political pressure is truly sad. You've alienated a large group of people with this move and from what I've seen lately, you can't afford to lose any more customers. read more

This BBB is the largest in the district and even though that means their in-store selection is greater, I'll only be going there when I don't need to interact with their customer service representatives. Maybe I went on an off day for them but if this review was only in response to the attitude I got from the people at the front, I would barely give it one star. Keep in mind, this is not a bash on BBB, I love the store and almost everything in my kitchen is from there. Black Friday...Yikes! While my mom and sister held places in line at nearby stores, I zipped over to get a 20% off coupon. I expected to wait in the queue at Customer Service so I was thrilled to be greeted on the sidewalk out front by a manager. He handed me a discount coupon with a smile. He also said it entitled us to 20% off on our whole purchase, not just on one item. And we could use it anytime prior to midnight. We got all our early bird nonsense out of the way, had brunch and came back. In addition to sheets for my guest room, we stocked up on Secret Santa gifts & I found a cute 4 piece Wok set at a great value price. One pleasant surprise was their selection of toys. I think my nephews will love their helicopters and remote control inflatable fish. All the employees were friendly and helpful when we had questions. The checkout guy looked tired but still was nice to us. The store was clean and bright. I'm sure to be back in the near future. Hope Santa knows where they are and doesn't have me on his naughty list again this year! read more

Who says the groom-to-be can't do the wedding planning. I went here to set up one of my fiance's and my wedding registries (the largest of all the ones we are making) for our wedding in 2013. The staff welcomed me and did everything they could to help me. On subsequent trips, after learning my face and name, they even saught me out to see if I needed any help or any questions answered. I still feel bed though as I feel like I ran some of the employee's ragged but they never complained and were there for me every step of the way no matter what question I asked or what I needed help with. When I finally started creating some of the items I knew right off the bat I wanted on the registry, such as kitchen/cooking gear. Then after a few days of research and writing down several options I liked, my fiance Kala, helped me pick out dishes, linens and a variety of other items at the "Rock your Registry" event. Finally, the staff helped me finish of the registry with most of the remaining items still missing. With just over a 600 item registry for B3 alone, it is the largest of all our wedding registries and I can't thank all the wonderful staff at Bed Bath and Beyond of Cool Springs enough for their help. They now even know me by name, and I would not have it any other way. I will be returning here for all my kitchen and household needs in the years to come as they carry many of the items needed to make a house a home. read more

I had to quickly run in for some wedding gifts for several upcoming nuptials. I had been here before several times for registration for my own wedding as well as trading in some things but never before had I bought something from a registry. Well, I was amazed to learn that there is a complimentary gift wrap station complete with all the necessary tools and ingredients to generate a perfect present! In less than an hour we had printed the registries (3), picked out gifts and a few something-somethings for our house, paid (after having a registry, if a friend starts a registry they can refer you to get $25 off a $50 purchase!) and gift wrapped. Now I'll not have to worry at the last minute before the event to make sure that present is wrapped! The one thing that is totally weird to me about the B3 is that they now sell toiletries similar to Walgreens and CVS which is a little too much of a one stop shop and an inching near a superstore like Walmart. Most yelpers don't think it's cool to review chain establishments. Well, I'm not cool. I get their point that the whole point of a franchise is that you know what to expect before you ever walk in the door, thus why review it. But what they are not thinking of are some the extras and customer service triumphs that you can experience at a chain store that they are possibly missing out on. This BBB is always busy and well-stocked. I've visitied during the holiday season, been on "off" hours and random weekend pop ins for this and that. They're busy, but parking is always easy. Last week I was checking them out looking for a particular hairbrush for my mother-in-law, and that seems strange I know. The last time I was in for one of those pillows that has arms on it, (Hubby was recovering from shoulder surgery, and that pillow helped!), I noticed an extensive section that I would've thought was Target. Shampoos, cosmetics, the whole right front section of a standard Target, in a Bed Bath & Beyond. I guess that's the Beyond now? Anyway, visits to Publix, Rite Aid, and even Walgreen's had yielded no Goody's hairbrush that already has towel segments in with it (Don't ask me, she requested), but BBB had it. Success, and I'm the greatest daughter in law again. Was also persuaded, but totally unplanned, to change out my glassware for a new set that was a nice "feel" when holding the glass but uber-reasonable, and bought a new coffee sugar and creamer anticipating a large lunch I'm hosting on Sunday. I've visited before purchasing registry items, and they offer free gift wrap that is really nice, and their registry was actually understandable. Try that a lot of other places. They are very good about accepting coupons - expired ones, other stores, whatever it seems - and have been good about returns in the past, too. Basically, I've had no problems. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is their coupons usually exclude Caphalon cookware, which makes me sad because hubby loves that, and some of the other brands I'd really love to use a coupon on. But, you can't have everything! read more

Waited in line at the "service" desk for a single item return only to be told that I needed to wait in the check out line, which wrapped around the front and down the side aisle of the store (no exaggeration). The manager at the "service" desk took longer to explain their process rather than help an obviously frustrated customer. This leadership indifference and refusal to provide the District Manager's name when requested is puzzling at best. This is not my first poor experience at this location but it will be my last. I used to really appreciate the shopping experience at BBB, but things have clearly changed (at least at this location) and apparently they no longer need my business. Other customers in line looked pretty frustrated as well but they were obviously more patient than I was. read more

For crying out loud, I was trying to get the attention of my shopping buddy before she walked out of the store looking for me while simultaneously trying to keep an eye on my kid and pay for my order. This is a review of bridal registry with BB&B in Cool Springs. We were very pleased with the registering process at BB&B. They were much more pleasant and knowledgeable than the major department store where we registered. It was very easy and the consultant was extremely helpful - which surprised us as we didn't think we needed any help at all. We haven't made any returns or exchanges yet so I don't know how easy that will be, but I certainly hope it will be just as seamless as it has been up until now. read more
