As you might know there has been a shortage of samples everywhere and we needed the entire interior of the house painted! I am not good at choosing colors so after stressing out for weeks and getting some wrong color samples from Lowe's I went to this location. They were out of small sample cans but had a sale on quarts. Which is still pretty expensive if you keep buying wrong colors! However! One of the employees turned out to be extremely helpful! He started printing out labels with what colors exactly were being added to the paint since we didn't want any red or gray undertowns, and it turned out very helpful! We bit the bullet and bought two quarts of sample paint and one of them turned out to be exactly what we'd been looking for! Thank you so much for going the extra mile! read more

We went into their store in Chandler, yesterday. We spend the extra money on their product because it is a superior product and they have expert advice... most of the time. We just spent a small mint on a mahogany door and asked for advice on how to stain it on one side and paint it on the other. The advice was great; however, this is where the problem arose; the stain we chose needed to be mixed with extra colors. When our rep went to take a can of stain off the shelf, he looked through several of them and grabbed the one he liked. As he was walking over to the paint mixers, I noticed he pulled at the label on the can. It was lifted on the upper corner. He inspected it and proceeded to the color inserting machine. I figured since he looked over the can so closely it had passed his inspection. Little did I know, there was a very obvious dent where the label had lifted. After buying several cans of paint, stain and primers, we were told to stir the contents, not to shake the can. We were told by the rep to put the can of stain upside down until we were going to use it and then stir it when it was opened. We did not open the can, per instructed, we set it upside down and 30 minutes later went back out to the garage and found a small puddle. The can leaked. Thank goodness that we placed it on top of our large plastic trash can. Can you imagine if we had set it on the $950 door? I suspect the can leaked because the can was misshaped after the dent and the lid did not form a good seal, however, there are some pretty good dents where the can lid was opened to add the color tint. I went to this location to try to color match the exterior of my home to repaint the foundation. I was impressed with how organized the store is. They had a binder that was labeled with my neighborhood's name and she looked through the pages to see what exterior paint colors have been used that were purchased by customers at their store. Our house color swatch wasn't shown since no one has yet tried to repaint this color in our neighborhood. Regardless, I was impressed to see they kept track of these things as best as they could. I left them a piece of my exterior paint and Brianna (she was great) saved it under my name and assured me that they would keep it for Arizona Painting Company to pick up the piece to color match it the day the painting was to take place--which they did and it was a simple flawless process. read more

She has a good knowlege of the companys history and repoire! (Impressive as you don't see that anymore?) She was photo DIY MAG quality when i came in she had paint on the shirt. The staff at the store on Parklane Blvd were friendly and immediately acknowledged me when I arrived. They looked up my paint codes and found them within seconds. They had paint in my hands within 5 minutes and I was on my way. Everything wasn't perfect, mind you. The sheen of the paint was wrong, so I went back today to see what could be done about it. The gentleman who works there didn't make excuses.. he didn't try to blame me for any confusion... he simply apologized and went to work creating the paint I needed in the correct sheen. I can live with an honest mistake, what I cannot live with is bad attitude from customer service people which I experienced from two other locations in the last two years. The good attitude and great customer service I experienced from THIS store will keep me coming back to them. I've bought dozens of paint samples in the past two months looking for the right color for my bathroom. I found the a good color at Sherwin Williams and bought one of those samples quarts. Today at lunch I went back to buy a gallon. I told the lady there (Jesica) I needed a gallon for my bathroom in the lowest sheen available. She suggested Emerald which comes in a Matte finish and it was very scrubbable. She said it would be just a little bit more. I said ok and a few minutes later my paint is ready. $67 That's not a typo. Yeah - $67.42 for a gallon of paint - I thought she was kidding. That includes a %10 discount (-$6.95). I don't know what I did to deserve the discount, but after realizing the price I'm glad it was there. If I had known about the price per gallon I surely would *not* have gone high tech with the Emerald "finest paint ever" model for my guest bath. I bought the paint because it had already been mixed and I felt obligated, but I surely would have appreciated someone, anyone, discussing my options with me. Buyer beware. He never said anything to us. Never acknowledged our existence. Then went back in the back. Needless to say we walked out . This was the Chandler location. Will not be back. read more
