As an artist I was searching for a professional framing company who could help me frame 8 limited edition photos 20 X 30 inches in gallery quality. I contacted several companies and they all said they needed 2 to 3 weeks to complete the job. My situation was I needed the job completed in 2 to 3 days to get ready for an art show. When I reached store manager, Ms. Diana Kirkwood, she not only promised the short turnaround. She also took the time to present various framing solutions with quotes, and proved to be knowledgeable and skilled in the profession. Today, two days later, I picked up the order as they had promised. I found this Chandler location of Hall of Frames very personable, compared to corporate companies. It's not like I get pictures framed everyday but I had two portraits made of my dogs that had recently passed. The portraits of Jake and Jessie are the most special items in my house and I didn't want to just stick them in a frame. The process of picking out frames is daunting with so many mats and frame choices. Diana helped me choose the perfect combination of colors and frames that brings out the beauty of the pictures. The portraits were done in pastel and need a little extra care and to be framed in a particular way. I was confident leaving these delicate drawings with Diana knowing she would keep them safe. When the frames were ready I picked them up from Lianna. She told me how to hang the frames and gave me the hooks to do so. I probably would have had a much more difficult time hanging the pictures if left to my own devices. Both women were so lovely. I was in the market to have some artwork reframed as a few of my pieces were damaged in shipping. I know its a long shot but I was looking to match some existing black wood frames I have so one day I walked in to simply see the selection. After about 30 seconds of looking at stuff on the wall I was approached by one of the guys who worked there. He gave me the sales pitch of the century and was pretty intense about it. That is neither here nor there because I walked out without finding anything desirable which was a bummer considering they offer something like 3,000 frame options. Can't speak to the quality but they seem to have the same stuff as other frame shops: UV and conservation glass, metal and wood frames, and various mats. read more

What a wonderful experience! I talked with Wendy about a framed piece of an heirloom quilt that I wanted to have the matting changed. I brought it in and she had some good recommendations on how to do it and make the quilt stand out. She said it would take 10 days to two weeks to do. I got a poster framed from the Rolling Stones concert this past August in Glendale. The guy who helped me was very friendly and helpful. He took the time to really make sure that I was happy with the framing materials. It only took a couple of weeks to complete as well which was nice. They are definitely pricey but I think it's worth it based on the quality and customer service. read more

I had an issue at another Hall of Frames location and was directed to come to the Chandler Fashion Center location. Mike Campbellton was very nice and very helpful. I was looking for a specific frame that I had seen at another location in a 8" x 10", but was looking for it in a 5" x 7" version. He did n to end up having the frame in stock but did lead us to find a much more awesome option. I was framing a photo for Christmas and he suggested that instead of a frame, since they did not have the one I wanted in stock, that I consider a metal print with easel back. Phot ended up being even more awesome than I expected and Mike was awesome too. He helped me go on my iPad and order the metal print while I was in the store. His service went above and beyond me expectation. The other location has told me what to do, but did not give me hand on assistance. 5 stars ***** for Mike. I have used a few custom frame shops around the area looking for a great place while also keeping within my budget. Yes custom framing is EXPENSIVE, but you also get what you pay for! The best part of custom framing is there are so many choices and options, you can spend hours looking and arranging to find what you like. We had a coupon and $10 off coupon and wanted to check them out. YES, we are glad we gave them a try. Chris' expertise and experience is diverse as seen in his ability to organize a print, painting, picture, mirror, and anything else. We first went in to have a painting restretched. Chris went to work on it and within 45 minutes he called and said it was DONE! He even gave us a great deal since it was simple and not time consuming. Later, that same day, we took in a Kinkade canvas print and had it framed. Chris spent time showing us the different frame choices and ensure they were within our budget. It was completed earlier than expected and better than we expected. We went in to have another print framed and was able to get what we wanted and the price was better than the other places we used earlier this year. We can't wait to see how it turns out. My only recommendation to Hall of Frames would be to have a camera system similar to Michaels and other custom frame shops in which you can see what the end result will look like. That is helpful in determining the right frame and mattes to match the room in which it will be hung. read more
