The painter we hired uses only Dunn-Edwards paints, so we headed over to this location to get some…read moresamples to see what colors would look good on our walls. While the selection of colors here isn't as extensive as Benjamin Moore, they did have some good shades to pick from. The samples came in a fairly large plastic jar, for a very reasonable price. The only gloss choice they have for the samples is "velvet", which was fine since that was the finish we wanted for our interior anyways. The paint was easy to apply, with good coverage. I've been by a few times, and each time service has been cheerful and friendly. With our paint job finished, I'm loving the wall colors! We also had our exterior trim painted which Dunn-Edwards matched quite well using a paint chip from a Sherwin Williams brand color. Our trim also looks great!

In the past I've gotten my Ben Mo paint at ACE- but their selection and knowledge base was very inconsistent. I found AAA paint from the Benjamin Moore website- listing them as an authorized retailer. I popped over on a late Friday and got help from David and Jessica. First- the store is laid out so well, and has everything you could possibly need. I thought I had a decent idea of what I needed from YouTube- but AAA provided me so much quality info on how to make my project a success- I was really blown away. The internet is great and all, but these are professionals who eat, breathe and sleep all things paint. I got some awesome cabinet paint which is commercial grade and will hold up longer than my house. I got my tape and rollers and I was really impressed with their competitive pricing. I honestly would be ok with elevated pricing on the smaller stuff, since it's a smaller business- but they don't do that here. I cannot impress upon you enough how rad this place is. I never need to step foot in any other business for anything paint related. This place is the Nordstrom's customer service level of paint. So, stick with Lowe's or Home Depot for random lawnmower stuff- if you need paint and a huge and friendly knowledge base- look no further.

A rep named Carlos came right over to assist me. His experience was evident, plus he was genuine in his effort and care in helping me. He was so kind. I first gathered color samples (from a wide selection) to take back home, to be sure they'd work. They did. I returned the next day to buy the paint. Carlos, again, was so helpful, as was Cameron, who helped me pick an angled brush, and a nice young lady behind the counter helped as well. It was like my own team of professionals assisting me - in my purchase of a quart of paint. This level of service was impressive in times when customer service is not as common as it once was. At the register, more good news: there was a sale, so I got 40% off the 'Duration' primer/paint all-in-one Interior paint; a happy surprise and a great value. At home, the coverage was beautiful. I was painting over a saturated, Dark color, and was pleasantly surprised that just one coat of Sherwin Williams paint covered it completely! I wanted a custom color that had been made by another company. I talked to Justin who happened to…read morebe the most knowledgeable person I have ever worked with in the paint industry.....I would say he could be considered the top "paint nerd" and I mean that with the utmost respect. Justin worked extremely hard on color matching my color and got it to the exact color. After all that I decided to go with a completely different color and I felt bad that I had wasted money on the first gallon. When I told Justin that, he told me that it wasn't a waste and he explained how to use that gallon in my project as a primer....and guess what, it turned out perfect!
