Stopped here on our way home from a family camp trip. Good dinner food with great service. The space was packed full of people when we got there on a Wednesday at 10am plenty of seating. Got some pasties for the road they were top 10 for us. The filling were tasty with round steak, potatoes, carrots, and rottabages the crust was the best ive had so far.

The Friday Specials sound so yummy!!

Sherrie's had been on our short list of places to try yet it still took us a while to get here. Suffice to say, it's well worth the wait... but don't put it off any longer! There's a shared parking lot outside the restaurant, so don't let a crowd scene dissuade you from stopping by. The restaurant is bigger inside than it looks from the outside. We were greeted warmly as we walked in and were seated immediately. Our server was very friendly and cheerful and she happily explained a few highlights on the menu. ASIDE: That Friday Fish Fry has got to be awesome; 'nuff said! Mind you, Smokin'Hubster makes great omelettes. His breakfasts are all good, but the omelettes are a step above. After visiting Sherrie's - and ordering omelettes - he's mentioned more than a few times that he wants to go back for more. He ordered the Farmer's Omelette and secretly wondered if he he should order a side of potatoes. When he 'fessed up on the way home, he admitted that the omelette was way bigger than he expected and he was pretty full as is. I, on the other hand, worried about finishing my Italian Omelette without additional sides. Cudighi is a local treasure and the folks that do it well tend to do it generously. In fact, this might be my favorite way to enjoy cudighi! Too often the bread makes or breaks the sammich, but an omelette this good is a way better showcase of flavors. Super melt-y cheese, lots of 'shrooms and just the right tough of sauce; balanced without being sloppy. The miracle of the toast is still discussed today. Both the Hubster and I are rye toast fiends and when we learned that the bread is made on-site... done and done. It really made a perfect accompaniment to the omelettes. Flavorful without a bulky chew, so it toasts perfectly and melts in your mouth. If I was a toast snob - and I might be - this would be in the top three of the Best Toast List. It's that good!

Food was cheap which was really nice, but nothing special. Popcorn chicken was good, but fries were a little soggy. My boyfriend liked his meal but nothing to write home about unfortunately. Waitress was really kind and food came out fast. Inside was a little loud, but not too terrible. If you're looking for a cheap place to eat this is the spot!

I didn't have anything that was homemade so the food was only average. It was hot, prepared correctly and tasted like one would expect. It was nothing special and the roll was a little dry. Service was outstanding- fast, friendly and efficient. Our server checked on us but didn't hover or forget about us. Definitely has the mom and pop restaurant vibe going on which I really liked, but it wasn't as homey as it could have been. Parking is easy and it is located just off the highway, far enough to dampen the traffic noise but close enough to make it convenient to stop when you're on the move. Definitely worth the visit, I'd like to try something homemade; I should've thought about that when I was ordering.

There were NOT. It was a perfect bake, and I do mean perfect. Not a hard spot to be found, while still being done throughout. To top it off, both literally & figuratively, the icing was exactly the right amount. Needless to say, it is of self-worthy proportions. We also split a fish & chips meal that was tasty, and couldn't finish it, having started with the roll. I could stop there & be happy. These guys went beyond that tho, with fantastic service to boot. Drinks were never empty. We got regular check-ins without hovering. Seriously, the best service of our entire roadtrip all because we happened to stop in on a whim. There's a sitting area decorated up for season & staff offered to take our picture while the food was cooking. An absolutely adorable idea! Plus, very reasonable prices!

The food was all decently priced and we felt like we got a bargain!

The bakery is amazing and it would be hard to select what to taste, except that I was a woman on a mission. I stopped in the week before Fat Tuesday. Placing the order was easy and took only moments to complete. I returned for Mardi Gras and the bakery was understandably busier. There were folks that failed to plan ahead, so their paczki pleasure was impacted. Me, I walked in, the same helpful person was retrieving orders and I picked up my pre-paid dozen quickly. The paczki were amazing and brought me right back to Michigan. The paczki we had in MN were good, but they aren't the same. And I've honestly never had paczki that were SO filled. And the fillings were so fresh, so perfectly balanced with the pastry. We tried six varieties (oof, yeah!) and loved them all. The prune paczki is an easy favorite, being traditional, but that Bavarian Cream was sublime. I was completely spoiled. It was fun that my first visits here were for 'holiday shopping,' which makes me look forward to coming back and trying more yummy baked items!

I tried the Reuben Quesadilla and it was 10/10. Crispy tortilla, hot fresh Swiss and corned beef, tangy Kraut, 1000 Island for dipping--a meal that could cure the worst of my hangovers. Their pasty's are DELICIOUS. Handmade, huge, great price, served hot and fresh to eat or cold to take home for later. The Bloody Mary was decent but nothing to write home about but I truly came for the food and wasn't disappointed one bit! Great prices, big menu, tons of seating, locals to chat with, and they offer bar or table seating (it also looks like they could accommodate larger parties if needed). It has a very established rhythm to it, and that familiarity is part of why people keep going back. On the food side, the menu leans heavily into comfort-style bar food, and the execution is stronger than expected for a place with such a broad lineup. I ordered the Loaded Dock Pizza, which is an actual menu item there, and it was surprisingly solid. The crust had more structure than the average bar pizza, with enough sauce and cheese balance that the toppings did not overwhelm everything underneath. It felt intentionally made rather than just thrown together for convenience. Service is where this place earns a lot of its reputation. Even when it gets busy, staff usually keep the flow moving without making customers feel ignored. It has that experienced local-bar energy where people know how to handle regulars, larger groups, and quick turnover all at once without the whole place feeling disorganized. The ambiance is very classic U.P. tavern culture. Sports on TVs, steady background noise, wood-heavy interior elements, and a casual crowd that ranges from locals stopping in after work to families grabbing dinner. It feels lived-in rather than curated, which honestly fits the place perfectly. Overall, The Dry Dock Bar & Grill succeeds because it understands exactly what it is. The food is reliably above average for a bar-and-grill setup, service stays efficient even during rushes, and the atmosphere feels authentic instead of manufactured.
