2023 menu of sher e Punjab -- prices are high..,

Price are very high for the volume and quality of food provided. Not sure I would go back.

    Tandoori chicken and seekh kabab
    Mehak C.

This is an extremely small, hole in the wall kind of place which pretty much transports you back to one of those highway side restaurants in india. We came here pretty late by Edison standards and this was one of our few options to dine. We ordered the seekh kababs which were pretty good. They were moist and flavorful. The tandoori chicken was average amd had too much of food coloring. The paneer tikkas were a huge disappointment. They were sweet and had sautéed onions and capsicum making this dish more like a Chinese style chili paneer instead of the charcoal fired version. This was super surprising considering that the place is owned by a North Indian. We did not order the rotis or any curries which seemed a lot more appetizing.

Malai kebab $11.99, absolutely worth it

Sher-E-Punjab in NJ is one of the few places I can find and trust dhaaba (road side) cuisine. Pictured here on the left is malai kebab, on the top right goat masala, bottom right dal makhni (lentils in a stew), tandoori naan and the classic tandoori roti (my favorite). Malai kebab melts and the flavor is quite strong. Goat masala had solid spice and melted as well. Their daal makhni is always top notch. The best part is that they don't add cream! It's creamy based on how well they cook it and their tarka is amazing. You can always adjust the spice level. I get a runner's high from the spice, but I love the true flavor within each dish. Highly recommend the place. Quality: 8.9/10, Taste: 8.9/10, Appearance: 7.9/10

Great hole-in-the-wall spot. They are also open later than most places. We ordered chicken curry, anda bhurji, garlic naan, chicken kabob, and kulfis. You order at the counter and sit down. Everything came out quickly and fresh. We asked for spicy and they delivered on the spice. I highly recommend this spot for late night, delicious eats.

This place is a hole in the wall, so do not expect it to be super clean or have Five star service or five star guests sitting there with you. For a hole in the wall the food is amazing. Was there last night and have been there over 50 times and out of 50 maybe only one time the food was decent and other times the food was great. Staff really takes care of you, but they can only do so much if the small place gets really packed. It is also great for vegetarians. Appetizers we get the papadi chat and chicken tikka and or malai chicken and they are amazing. For maincourse we malai kofta get the chicken tika with garlic bread and honestly they're always flawless as well

    Malai Kofta and Paneer Maakhni

Decent food and convenient. Its certainly not the best North Indian food but makes for a decent take-out meal. The Mali Kofta ball collapses very quickly and the paneer makhni has very chewy paneer cubes and mediocre gravy. Aloo Gobi is was pretty good and nice portion. Lacha Parantha also cooked well tandoori style. Raita was very watery and bland, don't recommend that. Overall it's a solid 3, an ok/decent meal.

Love coming here and seeing people from toddler age to folks with their grandparents. Bubble tea is for all! My husband loves to try the new fruity varieties that get added to the menu. Every few weeks there is a new, unique fruit combination that blows him away. I stick to my tried and true Thai iced tea with boba, and NOWHERE else has been able to compete. The details are what makes this place stand out. If you buy multiple drinks, they place your order in an adorable, reusable purple bag. Also, there is a rewards program. So if you're an avid boba drinker, make sure you sign up. Every few orders you can score a free bite to eat or bubble tea. Since it's a hit spot, this place can get packed at peak times (post work hours, and especially on weekends). So happy to have such a lovely shop in my town. Thanks, Akihi!

The inside was very different from your usual bubble tea spot, and it was very welcoming and cozy. I could definitely see myself just chilling and reading a book while enjoying my food and drink. I placed my order through the kiosk while looking over the menu, which had a lot of good options. I couldn't make up my mind and decided to go with the bubble tea and Oreo waffle crepe. Both items were good, and I enjoyed the waffle, which had ice cream as the filling and was stuffed with fillings, but it was a little difficult to eat since the wrapper is not very practical, and I had to use my hands, so it got a bit messy. Did I regret it? No way, I loved it; hopefully, they would just have a better container for it, lol. Definitely will get a sugar rush, so be careful hahaha. I would definitely go back to try the other flavors

We asked for a non nut allergic option for some of the package offerings and they were happy to adjust it. No worries there. Interior is conducive for tea, conversations and quality time with loved ones. All in all, good time was had by us without breaking the bank or having to go into the city for a fancy hotel experience. We made reservations, but didn't need to. That said, by the time we left around 5-6 place was full. In a mall with lots of parking, other Asian restaurants near by. This place is a chain with other stores in various areas. Clearly a model that works.

Meet Fresh is a Taiwanese dessert shop specializing in traditional Chinese-style sweet dessert…read moresoups--comforting bowls built around ingredients such as red beans, sago, grass jelly, purple rice, tofu pudding, and almond. These desserts are common across Taiwan and much of East Asia, where sweet soups serve the role that cakes or pastries might in the West: a warm or cooling treat at the end of a meal or as an afternoon snack. The brand itself originated in Taichung, Taiwan, where it began as a small family shop inspired by traditional dessert recipes passed down through generations. Today Meet Fresh has expanded internationally, but the menu remains rooted in those classic Taiwanese dessert traditions. The menu includes hot and cold dessert soups, along with bubble teas, specialty drinks, ice creams, shaved ice desserts, and egg waffles--served plain or with a variety of fillings. I stopped in for a bowl of their Combo A hot red bean soup, topped with taro balls, fragrant red beans, crunchy peanuts, and soft, chewy boba. I also ordered a hot almond milk. For those unfamiliar with it, red bean soup is one of the classic desserts of Chinese and Taiwanese cuisine. Made from adzuki beans simmered until soft, it has a naturally earthy sweetness that is comforting without being overly sugary. It's often served hot in cooler weather and chilled in summer. The bowl here was generous and piping hot, exactly what you want from a dessert soup. The sweetness was well balanced--sweet, but not cloying--and the toppings added layers of texture that kept each spoonful interesting. The taro balls are another Taiwanese specialty: chewy dumplings made from taro and sweet potato starch with a texture somewhere between mochi and gnocchi. These were nicely elastic and pleasantly chewy. The peanuts added crunch, while the boba pearls brought their familiar soft chew, making the bowl a fun mix of textures. The hot almond milk was fragrant and soothing. In Chinese dessert culture this type of almond drink is often made from apricot kernels (sometimes called "Chinese almonds"), which gives it a slightly different aroma than Western almond milk. This one was very tasty, though it leaned a bit sweeter than I personally prefer. Service was pleasant and efficient, and the shop has ample seating, making it easy to sit and enjoy your dessert rather than rushing out the door. For anyone curious about Taiwanese desserts--or simply looking for something beyond cakes and pastries--Meet Fresh offers a comforting introduction to a whole world of sweet soups, chewy toppings, and traditional dessert flavors. I would happily return to explore more of the menu.

Meet Fresh is an international chain serving up Taiwanese desserts- shaved iced and grass jelly…read moredesserts along with milk tea and waffle creations. I'd recommend creating a custom dessert for what I felt like is better value, and coming at an off-hour due to the difficulty of finding parking in the plaza. --- Meet Fresh has a wide variety of desserts available: -Pudding & Q Mochi Milk Shaved Ice (L)- I shared it between 4 people, and while it was a good size and I enjoyed the toppings, personally it felt too expensive for the amount of ice! I would be on the fence reordering this. -Signature Grass Jelly (hot)- This came with a side of peanuts. For the relatively expensive signature grass jelly dish, I was a bit disappointed at the ratio of grass jelly to toppings. I would pass next time. -Custom icy grass jelly with 5 toppings [sesame rice balls, taro ball, ice cream, sago, and Q mochi (taro mochi)]- This came with a side of creamer. I really enjoyed both the flavor and toppings in the custom icy grass jelly!! The ratio of toppings was better for sure, but it is a more expensive option. I'd probably still go for this option next time. The restaurant is more or less self-service. It is self-seating. You first order at the kiosk or counter, and then retrieve your order once your number is called. Later, you take your tray and clean up yourself. The interior can seat fairly large groups, maybe 20-40 people total depending on how you sit. One of the biggest obstacles to enjoying Meet Fresh is finding parking in the hectic and overcrowded parking lot. I'd find it hard to justify fighting to find parking for Meet Fresh until I had something else to also do in the plaza. Overall, our group had pretty mixed ratings, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'd recommend coming when you're willing to splurge on a custom dessert creation.
