Assorted pastries

I've never had Indian pastries or masala tea, so I have nothing to compare it to. The masala tea was creamy, sweet and incredibly aromatic. You could really taste all the assorted spices throughout every sip. I believe they sell hot food as well, but I ran in to try the tea and some pastries.

Chole bhature

Excellent place to grab some punjabi or desi food. They have a wide variety if dishes. I tried the chole bhature and chaa. Piping hot bhature and tasty chole, with raita and onions. Awesome meal. And the chai/tea was amazing. It's masala tea so adrak and masala shooed all the cold away. Also ordered hot samose. I'll eat them for breakfast. I'm glad i stopped by here. They have lots of indian sweets and some pastries too. Black forest and pineapple pastries looked very tempting The restaurant staff might seem a little bit rough around the edges, but they are sweet people and their food is to die for. Hardworking immigrants serving hot food to the community. #heaven #bliss So if you are in the area, do stop by and give them a holler

I recommend the aaloo gobi and palak paneer. Order your meal with garlic naan and steamed rice. The mango lassi tasted very fresh. It's a great way to cool down a spicy meal. The interior set up is interesting...it's half bakery and half restaurant.

Lunch with dal makhani, paneer and soft chapatis!

Khalsa is an authentic punjabi restaurant which reminds me of the dhabas back in north India. Need I say more!

The food is awesome, best Punjabi food ever. Fresh, hot and delicious. Their samoosas, aloo parathas, paneer dishes, pooris etc are amazing.

Good food! Especially the parathas. Palak paneer and paneer butter masala are worth a try.

Excellent food. Excellent portion. After a while I found a good and authentic Punjabi food…read more Amritsari fish, huge kulcha, Delhi chicken makhni, bhindi, gajar ka halwa. Everything was to the point! Finally even the pan was excellent. 5 stars and coming back to try the Sarso di saag!

Parking is a bit narrow and gets crowded in peak times. Loved the interiors... lots of seats inside to sit and dine . Loved the dhaba style seating on the left . We actually got one and we loved the ambience . Service was ok .. not too notch but not too slow . Of course we ordered the kulchaaaaaaaaaa.. it was superrbbbbb. Mind boggling... very authentic. And it surely can be had by 2 people ! One cannot have the whole thing ! 10/10 kulcha . Other items we tried : Naan and paneer tikka - good Paneer green starter - very good Hats bara kabab - very average . Tasted raw and not fried/cooked well Chole batura - very good Gobi Manchurian - disaster . Should not have ordered Chinese dish in Punjabi restaurant Gajar halwa - disaster ! Wasn't sweet at all. We had to put 2 spoons of sugar to make it taste like halwa Apart from kulcha , we had mixed opinions on the food with most of the dishes not that tasty . May be it is not a place for vegetarians . I heard the non veg items had better reviews here . Overall , 3 stars wish other dishes are as awesome as their kulcha :)

I feel it is important to preface this review by saying that I love the food and service at this…read morerestaurant. I have been going to India Palace since it first opened and in general all my dine in experiences have been great. The food is absolutely fantastic and the service is usually good. Sadly, my most recent experience ran contrary to all my previous ones. A few days ago, I arrived at India Palace late at night with a friend. As soon as I entered I saw two gigantic parties, about 15-20 men at two separate sections of the restaurant. They were loud and rowdy. I've hung out in enough bars to know that even with rowdiness, you can still have a good time. The problem was, the longer we were there, the party got louder and more profane. I could only make out about half of what they said, but what I could understand was absolutely repulsive and it clearly bothered other tables. The two waiters who were taking care of all the tables were overwhelmed, and it was clear they were not comfortable with the behavior of these parties. They did their best to keep them happy, but it was a very uncomfortable situation overall. When my friend went to the restroom, a group of these guys were hanging out outside the rest room and made it a point not to get out of her way, making it extremely uncomfortable for her when she tried to get past them. The staff was very apologetic to us, and the even made sure to give us a discount on our bill to make up for the trouble. I do not blame them at all. They were in an impossible situation. My recommendation is this: you should absolutely visit this restaurant, but if you go in and see a small army of patrons being loud and rowdy, turn around and come back another time.

While the lamb chops were good the good overall has gone downhill. The lamb chops were not $40…read moregood. The waiter made several mistakes and the cook had a hard time keeping up in an empty restaurant. Got a kick out of the paper plates for certain items and plastic cups. They also have real plates and utensils. I'm not sure what the logic is. There's a lot to fix here. This used to be a good spot but now I've got to take it off my list. Good luck and hope you take the time to improve everything. Please note that a 20% gratuity is automatically added and is not disclosed on the menu as well.
