My best friend and I came here for dinner to catch up. Service was amazing. quick seating and friendly staff. The place itself is nicely decorated and quiet, which I really liked.Drinks were solid. I had the beetroot, cucumber, orange juice and my friend had the carrot, apple, pineapple one. Both were good. We ordered samosas. they were just okay. Then came the main issue: my butter chicken had zero flavor, and my friend's curry goat was spicy but had no real taste to it. The naan was fine, but nothing special.Honestly, I was really disappointed. Service was a 10/10, but the food was more like a 1/10. It didn't taste fresh at all, and I've never had bad Indian food until this place.

I came here for the first time with my parents because of high reviews (we are from out of state) and it was totally worth it. Still satisfied from the visit. The decor/ambiance, staff customer service, start to finish, was very refreshing. Bombay Spice II has a variety of options on the menu and cuisine was the perfect quantity, fast, unique in presentation and very modern. Overall, this spot showcases the high quality flavors of India (samosa chat bursting with flavor, awesome hot ginger chai, spicy and tangy vada pav, savory chicken kati roll and sweet mango lassi with bubbles). We highly recommend to all visiting Edison, NJ!

This place has good service but the food was not good. They need to understand people are coming for distinct desi taste. Also coming for quantity and quality. The food was something we can make at home for $5-10 from grocery store supplies. We paid $35. Try to give better quality and quantity.

Cute decoration and sit down place. However the restaurant could be cleaner and look less under construction. Service was terrible and slow. We had to remind our server multiple times for our food. Food was the most disappointing Chinese bhel: 0/5. The Chinese noodles were stale and bhel had no taste. I honestly had no idea what I was eating. Paneer Kati rolls: 3.5/5. decent but nothing to go crazy over. The outside roti was well cooked and stuffing was fresh. Would not recommend coming back

While the food is presented well, the taste is subpar Nothing like Bombay chat. Neither bhelpuri or Pav bhaji failed to impress in any shape or form. Vada Pav was good Masala chai while tasted good came in a paper cup and the left with a feeling that you are not drinking in the restaurant Service is good Staff is good ambiance is nice,m

Ambience and service were great. My table of 3 was located in a small booth area, allowed us to have nice conversation and was comfortable. Pav bhaji and vada pav were good. Presentation on pani puri was great, and pani puri was also good. The puris themselves were ok and the filling was a bit boring. We also ordered a mango mojito but it was not really a "mojito" since there was no carbonation and it was kinda thick, it was still good though . One thing we appreciated was that they actually used mumbai pav, adding to the authentic flavor. Our waiter was very nice and we will be coming back to Bombay Spice! 7/10

Food: We ordered two kati rolls the Mughlai Chicken Kati Roll and the Lamb Kati Roll. The Mughlai Chicken Roll was really good flavourful and huge! We didn't expect such a large portion, so that was a nice surprise. Before the rolls arrived, we also had Cheese Pav Bhaji, which was tasty and well-balanced. We also tried the Chicken Hakka Noodles, but they were quite bland. We asked the server to remake them with more spice they did, but it still didn't quite hit the mark for us. Kati Rolls are a must-try here! They have a wide variety of options in both veg and non-veg, so there's something for everyone. Service: The service was excellent. The staff was attentive and checked in regularly to make sure we were happy with the food. They were friendly and proactive, asking if we needed anything else. Ambience: The ambience was great lively music, nice lighting, and comfortable seating. There's space for larger family dinners (10-15 people) as well as a more private section for couples. The private area isn't completely closed off but gives a quieter, more intimate feel perfect for those who prefer to avoid the main crowd.

Apt description of this place , I don't think a picture of food is needed This restaurant is unnecessary and can be replaced

Most of the stars I am giving for the ambience My picture Is a correct review of the place , why is there a socket in the wall beside the restaurant table ? Why does this whole place exist? Food didn't seem like a possible reason The menu is very good , but sadly you cannot eat paper Food not so good We ordered pani puri, Pav bhaji , butter chicken roll and chicken sizzler Pav bhaji was not great , they should remove Bombay from their name for this Some bites of the sizzler were good . Some seemed unnecessary Same with butter chicken roll where half the bites were decent half of them seemed off Placement of meat and other stuff was very abnormal. Not the best Kathi roll or even the worst one I have had Definitely not worth it mixed review but overall I would say bad place to eat food

    Veg Manchurian
    Harshil S.

Ordered veg manchurian and veg sizzler. Service was quick, as if everything was almost ready. Manchurian was sweet. Sizzler wasn't even sizzling. It didn't look or taste like a sizzler. Prices were high compared to food quality. Ambience was ok.

This apparently is their "DRY" chilli chicken !!

Worst service ever. Asked for chilli chicken and was served I don't know what with Fajitas. Chicken fried rice had big chunks of chicken fajitas that you get from stores. I would have been atleast happy if they atleast cut those into small pieces. Very bad experience!!

Stopped over this place since I was craving for pani puri, on the way back from dc and found this place on my way and decided to give it a try. As soon as I entered the location, I was amazed with the interior designs and asthetics. The ambience was very nice and an event was on in the next-door event hall. The pani puri came in a nice aesthetic cart and tasted as amazing. I also had a mughlai katti roll, which was surprisingly good. Falooda was our dessert. I remembered this dish from my trip to India and wanted to see how it matched vs back India since this place gave a very authentic and local vibe. Must say, didn't disappoint. Must try for everyone and I am definitely coming back!

    Chicken Mughlai Dry
    Sheena P.

This place has gone down in quality, taste and service. The chicken was gross and when I mentioned it to the staff, They said "our chicken is not like normal chicken muglai dry". Then change the menu name and tell customers that you don't make it dry or that the taste is not of a muglai chicken. What a waste of time today!!

Awesome spot! they had an assortment of Indian snacks and entrées. There was plentiful parking in the back. Service was friendly and attentive. Ambience was interesting, but is perfect for large groups. I really enjoyed the paneer kebab. All their food was tasty. Highly recommend. Will be returning soon. they are also BYOB.

Saoji is a fiery, deeply spiced, mostly non-vegetarian cuisine said to have originated with the…read moreHalba Koshti weaver community of Madhya Pradesh. When the community migrated to Nagpur in 1877, their food followed -- spreading through the tradesfolk and mill workers who embraced its bold flavors. Today, Saoji is considered the signature cuisine of Nagpur: intensely spiced, unapologetically hot, and built around powerful, roasted masalas. Tonight we ate at Nagpuri Saoji in Voorhees (they also have a location in Iselin), and these two spots are reportedly the only places in the U.S. where you can experience this cuisine in its full, blazing glory. To Start We began with sabudana vada -- the classic Maharashtrian fritter made from tapioca pearls, mashed potatoes, peanuts, and spices. Served piping hot and impossibly crisp outside with a tender interior, they came with two chutneys and were absolutely sublime. Alongside that was goat sukka, a dry-style mutton preparation associated with the Mangalore and Udupi regions, with spice influences tracing back to Goa and even Arab and Turkish traders. Coriander, fennel, cumin, black peppercorns, and fenugreek give it depth and warmth. It was bold, savory, and incredibly flavorful. The Curries I ordered chicken kala masala curry, and it was deeply earthy, nutty, and robustly savory. "Kala" means "black" in Marathi -- referring both to the color and to the roasted spice blend itself. Cumin, coriander, cloves, cinnamon, stone flower, coconut, sesame seeds, and chillies are roasted and ground into a dark, complex masala that lingers beautifully on the palate. We also ordered Goat Handi, with tender meat in a velvety, aromatic gravy, and a Malwani goat curry, made with Malvani masala from the Sindhudurg district of Maharashtra -- a spice blend that balances heat with coastal warmth and depth. Rice, plain naan, and indulgent Amul cheese naan rounded out the meal. Dessert We finished with Sitafal Rasmalai (custard apple-infused rasmalai) and Jamun Rabdi -- both creamy, fragrant, and perfect against the lingering spice. A Few Notes Like much traditional Asian cooking, the meat dishes are cooked on the bone -- so eat mindfully. And if you request "hot," they mean hot. This is not toned-down spice; this is the real deal. I was thrilled to try dishes from India that I've never made before. Saoji cuisine is bold, unapologetic, and absolutely delicious -- and I'll definitely be adding some of these flavors to my home repertoire. If you have the opportunity to try this cuisine -- do it.

Kind of a letdown! I…read morefinally decided to try this place after hearing a lot about it. I know it's popular for the saoji chicken but being a vegetarian I had to stick to their veggie options. I visited this place for dinner and they were out of a lot of things. I got the shegaon kachori, Misaal Pav, Tarri Poha and Sol kadhi. Shegaon kachori was the best option amongst the lot. It was super crispy and the filling was nice as well. Tarri Poha was a let down. The tarri tasted weird so it ruined the entire dish. Same tarri was present in the misaal too, so this dish was ruined too. Sol kadhi was average. The service was fast and the ambience is okay-ish. Honestly, would not recommend this place for their vegetarian options!
