Instantly, I heard back from Keith to schedule a home visit. In the first week of January, Keith came by to do a look through. He was very kind and professional. Keith emailed my estimate within several days. Our bathroom remodel was scheduled to take 14 days, but it was completed within 9 days, which was good for our family considering we only have one bathroom. From initial contact throughout the project Jeff, HHR Supervisor, kept open communication with me every day. He kept me afloat on what they found, what needed to be done, what my options were. However since that visit, the experience has been disappointing. Despite multiple follow up messages and calls, we have not received the promised quote or ANY response at all. While I understand contractors may be busy, a simple update or message stating they couldn't take the job would be preferred over being ghosted. I was hoping to work with a licensed professional, but the lack of basic communication makes it difficult to recommend their services. I hope they can improve their follow up process for future customers.

I couldn't help myself and had to get one. I got the medium Sushi Crew bag $18. Service was ok. The cashier was nice. The sales guy working the floor seemed irritated when I asked him to help me locate the bag.

I try to avoid Simply Home (at Kahala Mall) because there are cute things at the front of the store... luring me in... I tell myself I don't NEED more stuff... However... The merchandise in this store is useful. Dish towels, tote bags, shower curtains, hooks, pet supplies, kitchen gadgets, trivets, and charging cords are some of the items in stock. I even saw a bunny toothbrush holder and a panda hand sanitizer... so cute! I will return to get gifts - especially for mainland friends. Some of the designs have Aloha themes like local grinds... such as okazuya, pineapples, and laulau! Service is very friendly and positive! There was a young man who was sincere about wanting to help me find whatever I was looking for! Thank you! Anyway... it turned out that my friend wanted to get me a Bowl Hugger. It's like a potholder that goes around your bowl when you place it in your microwave, so you can protect your hands from the hot bowl when it comes out from the microwave! We spent over $20K on custom cabinetry and received damaged parts, misaligned installation, a miscut sink cabinet, a defective drawer insert, and multiple unprofessional interactions. The range hood cabinet was fabricated too tall. Instead of acknowledging the error, they insisted the problem was elsewhere - until we demonstrated the hood still wouldn't fit. Only then did they admit the issue. Their handling of the appliance garage lighting was even worse. They routed lighting channels and installed sensors in both compartments, then backtracked and claimed the upper lighting wasn't part of the design. Suddenly, it became a "complimentary" feature - conveniently after the system failed. The excuses and contradictions are exhausting. Their behavior shows a clear pattern of denial, bad faith, and cover-up. Avoid this company if you expect professionalism, accountability, or respect for your time and money.

Original review: We had cabinetry and lighting for a kitchen and two bathrooms designed and installed for our condo in Honolulu. Not as much attention to detail and quality as we would have liked. First, they apparently didn't get the specs right for our cooktop so our contractor and the stone fabricator had to figure out a way to adjust things to make it work. Second, the ribbon lighting installed over one of the bathroom vanities is falling out. We've contacted them and will see if they fix the problem. Stay tuned for an update. Overall, we like the look of the cabinets and lighting but are a bit disappointed in some of the work.

Our condo has some pretty strict requirements such as putting them under Hy's insurance policy and getting everything approved. Josh helped us with the process, and got our condo on their policy quickly. After we signed with them, we did a walk through of our condo, they were very detailed in asking questions to understand what we wanted and were super helpful and patient with our many questions lol. They got rid of our all our popcorn ceiling, carpet, installed vinyl plank for our entire condo, as well as change out our bathroom vanities & mirrors, and made shelves for our bathrooms. It turned out even better than I expected honestly! Afterwards I remember looking up at our ceiling and feeling grateful of how smooth and well done it is and the vinyl planks were done beautifully. Everything was really meticulously done even down to the quarter rounds that line the edges of our flooring. Mr. He and his partner did most of the work, he was very communicative, professional and even did many little extra things for us around the house that my husband thought of later like installing shower/tower rods so everything matched, at a very reasonable price, he even painted our door for free! I honestly am so grateful for him, he's such a nice guy. They got everything done in timely manner too! Since we were trying to move in ASAP, as my son was gona be born in 2 months.
