The showroom is beautiful and they were able to show us exactly what we'd be getting. The plumber they recommended, Irving Murakami, did the installation today and he was also extraordinarily professional and gracious. It is now on Waiwai Loop right next to the rail station and Lagoon Chinese restaurant. They have a few parkings in front of the store. Once you enter the store, I was like "wow", the display are so nice. There are so many choices, everywhere you look, it is like a dream bathroom or kitchen display. The people who work there are also very helpful. I showed them the video of my toilet valve issue. They explained to me the steps that I need to do to change the valve. They even bring out a sample valve to show me how to do it, such information helps me a lot when I do my repair instead of reading through the manual. If you need bathroom stuffs, this is the place to go. They also have plumbing services, but it will cost me $100 to have someone change the valve for me. Since I did valve replacement before, I end up just do it myself. Go check this place out.

In my situation, it was work related, so I decided to shop here. The Compleat Kitchen has basically everything and everything related to the home and the kitchen. While many businesses and commercial spaces utilizes a kitchen or a kitchen like atmosphere, it helps to have all the things that can make it a functional space. When I decided to save money and cook while at work during the week, I came to The Complete Kitchen to find a microwavable porcelain bowl the first time I was here. I looked around the store for 15 minutes before asking for help. The guy who worked there helped me with the request and it was a definitely a cute bowl that I use for oatmeal in the morning and soups during lunch time at work. The second time around shopping here, I needed a reusable porcelain spoon and washable / reusable chopsticks. After looking around the store, I found them near the cashier station. At least I found what I was looking for without assistance the second time around, which was very nice. They had assorted knives and other gadgets that help with meal preparation, along with pans and other items that would make your life in the kitchen better and easier. I'd definitely love them and it's definitely worth time to check out for sure, if you're interested and in the area. The overall experience here at The Complete Kitchen here at Kahala Mall is very cool. I got what I came in here to do and can happily save money by cooking at work and not have to go out as often. Buying microwavable bowl and reusable utensils helps me with cost cutting in the long run. The prices here are reasonable for anyone and everyone who needs cutlery, pots and pans, or anything else they need to help them in the kitchen. The service here is excellent and they are very knowledgeable in what they are selling. For the most part though, my experience here at The Complete Kitchen is great. I got what I was looking for and the prices are great. I didn't take long to find what I was looking for and the shop itself was fairly large for its size. It was cool that this shop was close to home. Definitely will return to this store if I need a knife or to replace something previously purchased. It is cool to have this store locally when you need a piece of cutlery or something for your kitchen. The Compleat Kitchen is located inside Kahala Mall. It's nearby Center Stage and Starbucks on the Whole Foods side of the mall. The physical address is 4211 Waialae Avenue, 96816. They accept major credit cards as well as cash. I don't know if they have a minimum purchase for credit cards, but its nice to ask them if they do. As far as parking goes, they have a sizable parking option for anyone and everyone to use. Best bet would be to find parking early enough and walk to the store. There is rooftop parking too, and you just take the escalators down to the ground floor. Just be warn that your car can get warm or hot after returning especially during the summer months. If you are like me, there a bunch of bus routes that services the Kahala area, 1, 1L, 2, 2L, 7, 14, 23, and 234. Choose the right one or connection that works for you. And of course, if you love Uber or Lyft, there's that option too as well. No matter how you get here, if you need supplies for your kitchen or just something else that you need for cooking, consider The Compleat Kitchen at Kahala mall for your shopping needs. They have the most complete selection anywhere on the island. 5.0 stars for the overall experience. Support local! A+

Purchase an item of $5 and get one knife sharpened. Hubs said let's both go and have 2 knives done. I found a cute scrubbie for Doc and a new set of measuring spoons that boldly have large colorful measurement equivalents on each in the set. I looked at the trendy beverage cups and they were anywhere from $30 - $45 each. Ring up was fast as they had two cashiers on both sides of the counter. You can purchase plastic bags for 50 cents or cloth ones for 99 cents.

All my friends call me the bag lady, haha. Anyways, I recognizes these bags right away. They're from Eden in Love. They have the cutest bags ever. This is the biggest collection that I've seen. They probably have all the design and sizes. Most places only carry the medium size as it's their most popular. Here they have it in small, medium and large. I couldn't help myself and had to get one. I got the medium Sushi Crew bag $18. Service was ok. The cashier was nice. The sales guy working the floor seemed irritated when I asked him to help me locate the bag.

I try to avoid Simply Home (at Kahala Mall) because there are cute things at the front of the store... luring me in... I tell myself I don't NEED more stuff... However... The merchandise in this store is useful. Dish towels, tote bags, shower curtains, hooks, pet supplies, kitchen gadgets, trivets, and charging cords are some of the items in stock. I even saw a bunny toothbrush holder and a panda hand sanitizer... so cute! I will return to get gifts - especially for mainland friends. Some of the designs have Aloha themes like local grinds... such as okazuya, pineapples, and laulau! Service is very friendly and positive! There was a young man who was sincere about wanting to help me find whatever I was looking for! Thank you! Anyway... it turned out that my friend wanted to get me a Bowl Hugger. It's like a potholder that goes around your bowl when you place it in your microwave, so you can protect your hands from the hot bowl when it comes out from the microwave! Clever, thoughtful gift, right?

I used to buy at Home Depot but recently, I went with a friend to buy appliances and the wait time was so long. We had to take a number and wait so long only to find limited inventory. When our washer went out, we needed a replacement and fast. Pacific Kitchen and Home -located in Best Buy, had a pretty good selection and so we bought a washer. The problem though was scheduling delivery. We had to wait over a month. Last week, we bought a dryer and the delivery wait time, although long, is not as long as before. We bought the Total Tech Support plan which was a bit pricey at $179, but it offers a longer period in which you can return an item. Normal return time is 2 weeks but with the Support plan, we had two months, which allowed us to return the washer we bought (too big) for a smaller one. The plan also has a price match which gave us additional money off since there was a Black Friday special sale on the washer we bought. I also liked that Best Buy had more low-tech options for washers and dryers. This time we bought a Maytag washer and dryer, smaller, without all the bells and whistles. And much cheaper that the electronic models.

I came this time around for a washer/dryer combo. I had tried a couple other suppliers first, and everywhere is out of stock now I guess because of COVID. It took probably about 10 minutes to get a customer service rep's attention. Then they proceeded to try to sell us a bunch of stuff that we didn't need. By the time we had a chance to talk and made clear the models we wanted to check on, they said that they would check on it being in stock and get delivery scheduled. While waiting another 20 minutes, we decided to look up the current reviews online. Turns out it wasn't in stock, and we wasted over half an hour of our day for no reason. Based on the online reviews, it sounds like it's a good thing that we didn't work with this company.
